Critiques pour Alienware M11x R2
Source: 01Net

EN→FRThe cheapest Alienware M11x starts from €849 in Germany and it comes with a 1.2GHz Pentium U5400 with 2GB of memory. In the USA it starts from $950 for Core iX based machines and it comes with Core i5 520 UM CPU, 4GB of memory and 320GB disk. Our sample costs $1024 and for $1189 you can even get the same machine with Core i7 640UM that goes all the way to 2.26GHz.

EN→FRFrom an engineering standpoint the M11x is a marvel. There is no other laptop available that offers this much gaming performance in such a small package. The fact that Alienware has managed to cram so much into so little – and managed to do so while also providing good battery life – indicates that some smart folks are working over at Alienware.

EN→FRWhen we reviewed Dell's first version of the Alienware M11x earlier this year, we were impressed with its performance, switchable graphics, and battery life. Thankfully, not much has changed with the Alienware M11x R2, the second iteration of this slick-looking ultraportable gaming rig. This edgy ultraportable backs up its look with top-shelf parts. You get solid performance and auto-switching graphics, but the battery life is less than stellar.

EN→FRDell's Alienware M11x is undoubtedly the most powerful 11.6in notebook we've ever tested.
The combination of an ultra-low-voltage Intel Core i5 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M GPU delivers punchy performance that's rarely seen in a system of this size. And, with seamless graphics switching courtesy of NVIDIA Optimus technology, battery life is better than expected.

EN→FRThinking back to our experience with the original M11x it is fair to say that we were completely blown away by that model. Alienware managed to produce a killer machine which offered great portability, excellent battery life and fantastic performance in games and media. Since then though a few things have happened to move the market on.

EN→FRThere is something that I have fallen in love with on this laptop that I didn't mention beforehand, and it's the material where your palms rest on the computer. It almost seems old, sort of like something you would find on a 1990s laptop, but somehow modern at the same time. I like it, it feels and looks nice, and I think it's perfect. But really, in conclusion, I can see myself loving using this laptop for as long as I keep it, the combination of the power and the small form factor are very pleasing. This is a laptop you can see yourself using everywhere, in your house, at a coffee shop, on a plane, at school, it fits every environment perfectly. The build quality and sturdiness of the laptop are superior to any notebook I have ever used in the past. This laptop just feels right, for surfing the web, gaming, typing, and anything else you can imagine yourself using your laptop for.

EN→FRThe Alienware M11x R2 is every bit as amazing as the original M11x released earlier this year. Although there are other notebooks in the 13-inch and 14-inch sizes that provide excellent gaming performance, the Alienware M11x is still the only game in town if you want solid performance in an 11-inch laptop. The durable design, compact size, capable performance, and very affordable price make the M11x R2 the best choice for road warriors who also like to have fun. Granted, the new Core i7 configuration doesn't offer that much more performance than the old M11x with overclocked Intel Pentium Dual Core SU4100, but the better processor and Nvidia Optimus provide two more reasons to buy the Alienware M11x R2 if you didn't already buy the original M11x. We still think Alienware needs to offer a matte screen option and a removable battery might be more attractive to some buyers. That said, the Alienware M11x is still your only choice if you're looking for an ultraportable gaming notebook.

EN→FRFolks at AnandTech have published a review of the updated Alienware M11x, more popularly known as the Alienware M11x r2. Clearly, if you are in the market for a small ultraportable just for web-browsing and office editing, this is probably not something we would recommend. The Optimus graphics yield amazing gaming performance and makes it the most powerful portable gaming netbook.

EN→FRWhen we first heard about Alienware's M11x at CES 2010, we were super excited. By now it should be clear that there's plenty to like with the M11x R2. It upgrades some of the most important areas relative to the original, and with Optimus in place of switchable graphics we no longer have to worry about a lack of driver updates. If you're after a small gaming laptop, there simply aren't any other compelling options right now.
