EN→FRThe Asus N53J is something of a curate's egg; it's stylish, well built and powerful, with a superb spec - on paper. The keyboard, screen and battery life let it down and they're rather fundamental issues for a system at this price. But the sound quality is beaten only by the Dell XPS 15 (or Asus’s own upcoming NX90) and this is still an excellent multimedia notebook in many ways. If you're not planning to travel with the N53 and you watch movies more than you type, you may still find you're getting excellent bang for the buck.

This trio gives you ultimate performance from a laptop and especially from a 15.6-inch laptop as opposed to larger notebooks with 17-inch displays. The 750GB hard drive is of the speedy 7200RPM type, which means you get lots of storage space that's also readily accessible for smooth performance. The Nvidia GT 540M video card allows you to play today's demanding 3D video games with ease and the Asus N53SV does just that. You definitely won't be let down in the performance category with this notebook and that makes it well-worth the moderately-priced price tag. Asus does include a lot of their customized software on this laptop, but they do give you some pretty handy programs too, like a Live Update application to make sure your computer's drivers are always up-to-date. They also pre-install Microsoft Office 2010 Starter Edition, which is an ad-supported version of Word and Excel.

You may also boot the N53SV to the Asus Express Gate Cloud--a Linux-based interface that provides quick access to photos, a calendar, the Internet, and so on. However, the N53SV boots to Windows 7 so quickly, you might find yourself not bothering. The NV53SV has some excellent features. The price-to-performance ratio is nice, and it's never been whacked with an ugly stick. If the minor keyboard issues don't bother you, it's worth a look.

For starters, we have Intel's latest SandyBridge CPU, the Core i7 2630QM which is a quad core multithreaded CPU running at 2.0GHz with Turbo upto 2.9GHz. The other big addition is the new Nvidia GT 550M with Nvidia Optimus and 2GB GDDR3 dedicated memory. The rest of the system specifications include 4GB RAM, 750GB 7200rpm drive, full HD 15.6-inch screen and finally a BluRay combo drive. Let's see how all this translates in the real world tests.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Incorporated, une multinationale taïwanaise, produit des cartes mères, des cartes graphiques, des lecteurs optiques, des PDA, des moniteurs d'ordinateur, des ordinateurs portables, des serveurs, des produits de réseau, les téléphones mobiles, des boîtiers d'ordinateurs, des composants informatiques, et des systèmes de refroidissement d’ordinateur. La société a dégagé des revenus en 2007 atteignant US $ 6,9 milliards. ASUS a également produit des composants pour d'autres fabricants. L'Eee PC a ouvert le boom des netbooks en 2008.
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

520M: Le Core i5-520M n'as que 3 Mo de cache L3 (comparé au I7-640M) et une fréquence de 2.4 à 2.93 GHz (Turbo Mode). Avec l'Hyperthreading, 4 cores sont gérés simultanément. La carte graphique intégrée (GMA HD 3150) et la RAM DDR3 sont dans le package.
450M:
Proche du Core i5-520M mais sans fonctions AES.
2410M:
Dual-core Sandy Bridge avec GPU et contrôleur DDR3 intégré. Le CPU est cadencé à 2.3 GHz (Turbo Boost 2.6-2.9 GHz) et le GPU à 650 (1200 MHz Turbo).
2520M:
Dual-core de la gamme Sandy Bridge avec GPU intégré et le contrôleur RAM dual-channel DDR3 intégré.
Intel Core i7:
720QM: Le Core i7-720QM est le Core i7 Quad Core de 2009 le plus lent: entre 1.6 et 2.8 GHz (grâce au mode Turbo). Il a l'avantage sur les logiciels optimisés pour plusieurs processeurs mais un peu moins bon pour les application mono core. Comparé aux autres Core i7 mobile, le 720QM ne possède que 6Mo de cache L3.
2720QM:
