La Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 Mini est un GPU de jeu qui permet d’économiser de l’espace. Nous avons apprécié les changements faits par Zotac par rapport au design de référence de Nvidia. Les niveaux de bruit et de refroidissement ne sont pas gênants, même avec de fortes sollicitations. Alors que les systèmes SLI étaient beaucoup plus présents il y a quelques années, ils disparaissent doucement du marché. La raison en est simple : même une unique GeForce GTX 1070 peut gérer tous les jeux actuels. Mais bien sûr il y a des joueurs pour qui même 150 FPS ne sont pas assez. Ceux qui voudraient un système SLI devraient vraiment passer un peu de temps à regarder les avantages et inconvénients de ce système avant de faire leur choix.

Ceux qui ont assez pour acheter un système SLI feront mieux de choisir une carte graphique haut de gamme. Les systèmes SLI souffrent tout simplement de trop de petits problèmes.

Nous recommandons des GPU simples plutôt que des systèmes multi GPU, ces derniers n’ayant pas beaucoup d’avantages, et compliquent la tâche de paramétrage des jeux. De plus, tous les jeux ne sont pas compatibles SLI, ce qui ne plaide pas en la faveur de ce système. Les principaux désavantages d’un système SLI sont les températures élevées et la consommation énergétique bien plus élevée.
