Un portable vraiment plat. Le HP ProBook de 13.3 pouces s'adresse aux businessmen en mal de design. Avec un processeur ULV dual-core il possède une bonne autonomie ainsi que des préformantes crédibles. Mais il possède des surface un peu trop salissantes? Le HP ProBook 5310m sera testé en long et en large dans notre test.

Apart from the notebook’s slight weight issue and missing optical drive, the 5310m seems like the perfect step up from the mini netbook models. Frankly speaking, its design and fast system boot-up alone are enough to make anybody fall head over heels with it. If you have the dough (RM3,299 to be exact) and are seriously looking for the perfect travelling companion, you should really give the ProBook 5310m a serious look.

HP totally hit the mark with the hardware and they did it for $899, a reasonable price for a system that performs as well as this one and still manages 6+ hours of battery life. If you don’t need an optical drive or discrete graphics this is a computer to keep your eye on, whether you need it for business or not. The biggest problem is that it’s crammed in the stack of ProBooks, which tend to be pretty average, so not many buyers will probably ever happen upon it.

Conservative IT managers, particularly in large enterprises, have yet to realize how easy it is to stifle innovation by demanding so many hardware functions. Sometimes, less means more. The 5310m sheds the optical drive and VGA port, which I consider playing-it-safe parts that would have otherwise made the design thick and conservative-looking. The HP ProBook 5310m is one of the sleekest, thinnest SMB laptops in the market, and you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for it.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500MHD: Carte graphique intégrée (Mémoire partagée) livrée avec le chipset GM45(Montevina). Grâce à deux shaders de plus et une vitesse plus élevée, beaucoup plus rapide que la GMA X3100. Mais toujours pas envisageable pour les joueurs (Les jeux DirectX 10 ne seront pas jouable ou alors à de très faibles résolutions). Le processeur vidéo permet de décoder la HD (AVC/VC-2/MPEG2) , pour la lecture BluRay sur des processeurs plus lents.
Seuls les vieux jeux peuvent tourner de façon fluide sur ces ordinateurs (S'ils ne sont pas trop gourmands en ressources). Les coeurs à mémoire partagée de cette catégorie ont l'avantage d'être moins chaud et moins gourmand en énergie. Pour le bureau, internet, l'édition de photos, et le montage vidéo ces cartes graphiques n'ont aucune restrictions.

Intel Core 2 Duo:
C'est le successeur du Core Duo avec des pipelines 5-20% plus rapides sans consommation supplémentaire. Comme une addition à la conception du core duo là existe un quatrième décodeur, une SSE-unité amplifiée et une unité logique arithmétique additionnelle (ALU). Le core 2 duo pour ordinateurs portables est identique aux processeurs de core 2 duo d'ordinateur de bureau mais les portables fonctionnent avec des tensions inférieures et une vitesse de Frontside. L'exécution des portables également synchronisés est 20-25% inférieure à des ordinateur de bureau en raison de fréquence d’horloge inférieure de Frontside et plus lents de disques durs.

L'avantage est que le subnotebook peut être de petite dimension et peut être porté facilement. de plus Un petit écran a un avantage, il a besoin de peu de courant, ce qui améliore le temps d'exécution de batterie et en conséquence la mobilité. L'inconvénient est que la lecture des textes est épuisante pour les yeux. Les hautes résolutions sont a proscrire.
