For sheer value for money, yes. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 isn’t exactly a budget tablet, but it’s well capable of competing with models that are a great deal more expensive. If you can’t afford to shell out over £300, it’s an excellent choice. Key features, including battery life and performance, are up there with the best, while speaker quality is also very impressive. Furthermore, its unique design and iconic stand give it an edge over anything currently out there.

One of the best parts of the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 is definitely the four modes of use, where I found it really great to have the stand on the back where I could hold it or position it in very specific ways. Having the hole in the stand is genius on Lenovo's behalf, as people who use the tablet in their kitchen or garage are going to have one of the best uses for that stand. The rear-facing camera was actually surprising, something that I didn't expect from the Yoga Tablet 2. Not that you'd buy this tablet for the camera abilities, but it's a nice addition to the slate. The video quality was also surprising, which is another credit to Lenovo.

After reviewing this tablet's somewhat-awkward bigger brother, I found myself tempering my expectations for the Yoga Tablet 2 10-inch with Windows. But in just a short time, I discovered that my apprehension was largely unwarranted. The Yoga Tablet 2 delivers a bright screen, detachable keyboard and a stunning 12 hours of battery life, and even has cameras on the front and back, unlike the 13-inch version.

We wish Lenovo could have added some protection for the display from scratches. Even the metal kickstand attracted scratches in the short term of use. The device is after all meant as a mobile entertainment device, and to be moved at different locations easily, it’s so evident that users will tend to use it a bit rough. Apart from that, the Yoga Tablet 2 10-inch costs of about 1100 AED. With the solid kickstand, and different modes of operation, a fast processor and a very good display, we think the device is really worth it.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 10 is a big improvement on the first Yoga Tablet, thanks to its high-resolution screen and improved processor. At 13h 20m in our continuous video playback test, battery life was also very good. The kickstand adds weight but is very useful in the home. It's a shame the screen's colour accuracy is below average, but this is still a competent and versatile tablet.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet has a useful kickstand and great hardware, but there are a couple of ergonomic issues that outweigh the benefits. For starters, the cameras are placed at odd positions which make them so awkward to use, you’d rather not use them at all. Secondly, at 619 grams, it’s at least 200 grams heavier than other large-screen tablets in the market. This makes it difficult to carry around or use for long hours.

Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail): Carte graphique intégrée pour tablette et ordinateur portable intégrant le SoC Bay Trail. Basée sur la carte graphique intégrée de la génération Ivy Bridge avec quatre unités d'exécution et le support de la librairie DirectX 11.

Seuls les vieux jeux peuvent tourner de façon fluide sur ces ordinateurs (S'ils ne sont pas trop gourmands en ressources). Les coeurs à mémoire partagée de cette catégorie ont l'avantage d'être moins chaud et moins gourmand en énergie. Pour le bureau, internet, l'édition de photos, et le montage vidéo ces cartes graphiques n'ont aucune restrictions.

Intel Atom:

Le processeur Intel Atom est un microprocesseur 64-bits pour ordinateurs portables petits et bon marché, les MIDs ou UMPC. La spécialité de la nouvelle architecture est dans le mode d'exécution "in order" (au lieu de l'habituel et plus rapide mode d'exécution "out of order"). Par conséquent, le coût du transistor de la série Atom est beaucoup plus faible, et donc moins cher à produire.

Z3745: SoC Intel intégrant un processeur Intel Atom quad-core cadencé jusqu'à 1.86 GHz, une carte graphique intégrée Intel HD Graphics et un contrôleur mémoire double canal LPDDR3-1067.
