La Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 reste dans la lignée des modèles précédents : un bon design et une surcouche Android décevante. Nous ne sommes pas du tout fans de la simplification logicielle imposée par le constructeur, mais il faut reconnaître que cette interface minimaliste pourra plaire aux novices. En revanche, tous les utilisateurs qui connaissent Android seront déçus et frustrés par ces restrictions. En dehors de son reposoir réglable, la Yoga Tablet 2 n’a rien de spécial. C'est déjà un bon point dans la masse des tablettes qui se ressemblent toutes.

La Yoga Tablet 2 de Lenovo est une excellente tablette de milieu de gamme avec des bonnes performances et un écran satisfaisants. Mais je ne peux m’empêcher de penser que la marque chinoise (et Ashton Kutcher) peut faire mieux sans pour autant gonfler le prix et à commencer avec une version d’Android plus proche de la version de base et non un ersatz d’iOS.

Dans le détail, on a : un format plus compact, des finitions améliorées, un écran de meilleure résolution, un SoC plus puissant, une interface remodelée, et une partie multimédia plus séduisante. Le seul point qui ne change pas par rapport au modèle précédent, c'est en fait l'autonomie de la bête, qui reste plus ou moins moyenne. Côté tarifaire, la Yoga Tab 3 Pro est proposée au même prix que la Tab 2 Pro à sa sortie, ce qui évidemment rend le rapport qualité-prix plus intéressant que sur cette dernière. Une tablette que l'on conseille fortement à ceux qui auront l'occasion d'utiliser le pico-projecteur dans des conditions idéales. Pour les autres, la version sans pico-projecteur ne sera malheureusement pas pertinente puisque si elle s'épargne la mention "Pro" et se nomme simplement "Yoga Tab 3", elle s'épargne aussi l'effort d'embarquer des composants décents : dalle HD sur 10,1 pouces, Snapdragon 212, et 1 Go de mémoire vive.

So there you have it for this in-depth look at the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8-inch! While this tablet checks a lot of the right boxes, with it featuring an excellent design and build quality, exceptional battery life, a near-stock software experience, and a very affordable price tag, it stumbles when it comes to the lower resolution display, disappointing camera, and performance issues. This is certainly not a bad tablet, and the unique form factor and built-in kickstand are big positives as well. However, if that isn’t important to you, there are some better options out there that fall in the price range, such as the ASUS ZenPad S 8.0, or even the still very capable Nexus 7 (2013), that are much better performers, and offer a better package overall.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" de la légende anglaise, novo (latin) pour nouveau) a été fondée en 1984 en tant que société chinoise de commerce d'ordinateurs. En 2004, la société était le plus grand fabricant d'ordinateurs portables en Chine et, après l'acquisition de la division PC d'IBM en 2005, le quatrième au monde. En plus des ordinateurs de bureau et des ordinateurs portables, la société fabrique des moniteurs, des projecteurs, des serveurs, etc., et se spécialise dans le développement, la fabrication et la commercialisation d'électronique grand public, d'ordinateurs personnels, de logiciels, de solutions d'entreprise et de services connexes.

En 2016, l'entreprise s'est classée au premier rang mondial des ventes d'ordinateurs. Il le détenait encore en 2023 avec environ 23% de part de marché mondiale. Les gammes de produits importantes sont Thinkpad, Legion et Ideapad.

En 2011, elle a acquis une participation majoritaire dans Medion AG, un fabricant européen de matériel informatique. En 2014, Motorola Mobility a été racheté, ce qui a donné un coup de pouce à Lenovo sur le marché des smartphones.

La plupart des jeux pas trop demandants actuels peuvent tourner de façon fluide. soyez prêts à endurer un rendu graphique assez moche à cause de la basse résolution et des détails au minimum. Par ailleurs ces cartes sont suffisantes pour un travail de bureau et le visionnage de vidéos (pas évident pour la vidéo HD).

Intel HD Graphics 4400:

GPU intégré à certains processeurs ULV (GT2) avec 20 EU de la gamme Haswell.

Seuls les vieux jeux peuvent tourner de façon fluide sur ces ordinateurs (S'ils ne sont pas trop gourmands en ressources). Les coeurs à mémoire partagée de cette catégorie ont l'avantage d'être moins chaud et moins gourmand en énergie. Pour le bureau, internet, l'édition de photos, et le montage vidéo ces cartes graphiques n'ont aucune restrictions.

Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail): Carte graphique intégrée pour tablette et ordinateur portable intégrant le SoC Bay Trail. Basée sur la carte graphique intégrée de la génération Ivy Bridge avec quatre unités d'exécution et le support de la librairie DirectX 11.

Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

NVIDIA GeForce 940M:

Ses cartes graphiques ne sont pas faites pour le jeu. Et même si ils tournent, ce sera avec des erreurs d'affichage et un framerate ignoble. Ce cartes graphique sont totalement incompatible avec les joueurs! les applications de bureau et d'Internet, ne sont pas un problème pour ces cartes graphiques.

Intel Core i3:

4010U: L'Intel Core i3-4010U est un processeur Haswell ULV (Ultra Basse Tension) dual-core cadencé à 1,7 GHz sans support de la technologie Turbo Boost. Il offre une puce graphique intégrée HD Graphics 4400 et un contrôleur mémoire double canal DDR3.

Intel Atom:

Le processeur Intel Atom est un microprocesseur 64-bits pour ordinateurs portables petits et bon marché, les MIDs ou UMPC. La spécialité de la nouvelle architecture est dans le mode d'exécution "in order" (au lieu de l'habituel et plus rapide mode d'exécution "out of order"). Par conséquent, le coût du transistor de la série Atom est beaucoup plus faible, et donc moins cher à produire.

Z3745: SoC Intel intégrant un processeur Intel Atom quad-core cadencé jusqu'à 1.86 GHz, une carte graphique intégrée Intel HD Graphics et un contrôleur mémoire double canal LPDDR3-1067.

Les tablettes de très grandes dimensions, les ultraportables, les ultrabooks et les convertibles de 11 à 13 pouces affichent habituellement ce poids sur la balance.
