MediaTek MT8161

Le MediaTek MT8161 est un SoC ARM d'entrée/milieu de gamme pour tablette sous Android. Il intègre quatre noyaux processeur ARM Cortex-A53 (quad-core) cadencés jusqu'à 1.3 GHz. Par ailleurs, la puce intègre un circuit graphique ARM Mali-720, un contrôleur mémoire LPDDR3 (1 Go dans le Lenovo Tab 2 A8-50), une puce Bluetooth 4.0 et un module WiFi bi-bande 802.11 b/g/n.

Les performances sont de l'ordre de l'entrée de gamme 2015, similaires à un Kirin 910T.
