Très proche du Samsung N140, le N130 possède des caractéristiques similaires. Sa batterie fournit 1H13 d'autonomie en moins et son design est un peu moins prestigieux. Pour le reste les deux machines se valent et sont toutes deux très bien conçues.

There's nothing flashy about the Samsung N130, but that's kind of the point. It's everything a netbook needs to be - no more, no less - and is priced accordingly. If that sounds good to you then it's well worth looking at.

Netbooks are ever becoming the tech gadget of choice for both consumer and business users alike. The light-weight design and long battery life that tend to typify the models are tempting people away from the full-size laptop along with an often much more appealing price tag.
Although an average netbook in all the specs, the Samsung N130 is enjoyable and comfortable to use and proves to be a sturdy reliable machine you can take out when you are on the move.

For the most-part I liked the trackpad; I found it responsive, of usable size and the buttons are on the bottom where they belong. The only issue I had was that there is little difference in the palmrest and the touchpad which makes finding the pad troublesome at times. It possible that both of these issues could be overcome with practice and in the case of the trackpad a bit of clear nail polish to mark the edge of the palmrest, but you may want to take a look at your typing style or practice before purchasing the Samsung N130.

We’re fans of the budget-priced Samsung N130’s ergonomics. However, when compared to the N140, which is only $50 more, it comes in behind in overall performance and—more importantly—battery life. If your budget is flexible, the N140 is definitely the better choice. If $349 is your sweet spot, however, you can also pick up a Toshiba mini NB205 running Windows XP, which has comparable benchmark scores and hours more battery life, for around the same price. Overall, the Samsung N130 is a decent netbook, but there are better choices in this price range.

Of the many netbooks released by Samsung recently, the N130 is, on paper, the least interesting. It shares the 10in screen, Intel Atom N270 processor and 1GB of memory with most of the other computers in its class. It’s well-designed, though, with a sturdy body and nice curved edges. Overall, the N130 is a good laptop although it doesn’t stand out.

Of the many netbooks released by Samsung recently, the N130 is, on paper, the least interesting. It shares the 10in screen, Intel Atom N270 processor and 1GB of memory with most of the other computers in its class. The battery, which juts out of the bottom of the computer slightly, is larger than average, which gave our test N130 an impressive battery life of around four hours in general usage. Overall, the N130 is a good laptop although it doesn’t stand out

Can this 10.1" netbook swim in an already drowning netbook market? With its already comprehensive netbook range, Samsung's N130 enters an over-saturated market. Thankfully, great usability, a long battery life and low price help it to stand out from the crowd. While the N130 has no truly standout features, its great usability and battery life at such a low price mean that it betters many of its more expensive rivals. In a market where low prices are key and yet increasingly rare, this makes it a true breath of fresh air.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950: L’Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 est une carte graphique intégrée à la carte mère sur les chipsets Mobile Intel 945GM. c’est une version accélérée de la GMA 900.

Seuls les vieux jeux peuvent tourner de façon fluide sur ces ordinateurs (S'ils ne sont pas trop gourmands en ressources). Les coeurs à mémoire partagée de cette catégorie ont l'avantage d'être moins chaud et moins gourmand en énergie. Pour le bureau, internet, l'édition de photos, et le montage vidéo ces cartes graphiques n'ont aucune restrictions.

Intel Atom:

Le processeur Intel Atom est un microprocesseur 64-bits pour ordinateurs portables petits et bon marché, les MIDs ou UMPC. La spécialité de la nouvelle architecture est dans le mode d'exécution "in order" (au lieu de l'habituel et plus rapide mode d'exécution "out of order"). Par conséquent, le coût du transistor de la série Atom est beaucoup plus faible, et donc moins cher à produire.

N270: Un processeur pas cher pas puissant mais avec une basse consommation. Mais au Mhz près il est moins puissant que la concurrence.

10.1": Le portable a un format d'affichage très petit et rare pour petit portables.
L'avantage est que le subnotebook peut être  de petite dimension et peut être porté facilement. de plus Un petit écran a un avantage, il a besoin de peu de courant, ce qui améliore le temps d'exécution de batterie et en conséquence la mobilité. L'inconvénient est que la lecture des textes est épuisante pour les yeux. Les hautes résolutions sont a proscrire.
