The Acer Chromebook Spin 311 is another sub-$300 silver Chromebook in a market swimming with them. That makes it hard to justify, especially compared to something like the Lenovo Duet, which does what the Spin 311 does better in many areas, and is even cheaper. The saving grace is the Spin 311’s keyboard, which is truly excellent. It’s not as good as the best laptop keyboards, but the fact that an 11.6-inch Chromebook is even in the discussion should speak volumes. The battery life is solid, too, and although performance isn’t great, it’s enough to handle light, day-to-day tasks.

As a budget-minded Chromebook, the newest version of the Spin 311 may be light on ports, but the MediaTek processor gives it truly all-day battery life while still having just enough power for schoolwork, light work, and casual computing. Since it lacks a microSD slot, I highly recommend buying the 64GB model.

At the end of the day, we are a little disappointed with this notebook. Yep, you have everything you need from this tablet-replacement, but when compared to its predecessor – the Chromebook Spin 311 (CP311-2H), we got a lot lower performance – both in the CPU and the GPU department. Of course, if you mainly use Docs and Spreadsheets, this shouldn’t really bother you. But if you value speed and low latency, then you might want to divert from this unit.

La plupart des jeux pas trop demandants actuels peuvent tourner de façon fluide. soyez prêts à endurer un rendu graphique assez moche à cause de la basse résolution et des détails au minimum. Par ailleurs ces cartes sont suffisantes pour un travail de bureau et le visionnage de vidéos (pas évident pour la vidéo HD).
