EN→FRASUS TUF GAMING FX505DV is no doubt a great laptop, the likes of which we don’t see very often, especially at this budget. The features you get at this price are just amazing and we expected none less from a company of this magnitude. Speaking of the performance, FX505DV provides supreme performance when it comes to 1080p gaming, thanks to the combination of an efficient processor like AMD Ryzen 7 3750H and a powerful graphics card like NVIDIA RTX 2060. The performance of the laptop could have been better if a Hexa-core processor was used, as the processor bottlenecks the graphics card in various situations. Apart from the raw performance, the display of the laptop felt absolutely amazing for gaming, although there could be improvements in the colour reproduction sector.

What the ASUS TUF Gaming Alliance FX505DV tries to do instead is to offer a solid gaming experience while at a price that will not be beyond the reach of the average consumer. This would’ve been a prime contender for our ‘Bang for Buck’ award, but we feel that this offers just enough in terms of performance and presentation to tip the scales into something a little more impressive! This laptop has style, performance, and certainly a brand name you can trust. Added together with the excellent CPU and GPU pairing, while this might be the first laptop I’ve encountered with a Ryzen processor, it’s a great product to kick things off and I’m certain it won’t be the last we see of them from ASUS.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile:
Carte graphique du milieu - haut de gamme pour PC portables, basée sur l'architecture Turing, avec Ray Tracing et 1 920 nuanceurs. La fréquence est réduite par rapport à la carte graphique pour PC de bureau du même nom.
Ces cartes graphiques de milieu de gamme peuvent faire tourner tout les jeux récents de façon fluide. Les jeux gourmands ne peuvent être joués qu'avec les détails réglés sur moyen.

R7 3750H:
APU mobile quadircur utilisant des curs Zen+ cadencés entre 2,3 et 4 GHz, et une carte graphique Vega avec 10 unités de calcul cadencée à 1 400 MHz. Le 3750H est la version 35 W du 3700U, avec les mêmes spécifications mais une enveloppe thermique permettant d'avoir de meilleures performances en cas de sollicitations continues.
