EN→FRIf you travel a lot and need a compact and capable machine, the Latitude 7450 could be a good choice for your needs. It’s an all-metal light laptop that is well-built and has great input devices. The performance also seems on point. The cooling isn’t huge, but it’s potent enough and its fan isn’t noisy when the Core Ultra 7 165U is pushed to its limits for a long time. In this scenario, the CPU can sustain a high P and E-core clock of 3.24 GHz / 2.71 GHz which is a respectable result for a 14-incher. The 60Hz 1200p IPS display (YCR8T-NV14N42 (BOE0A2A)) offers wide viewing angles. Its max brightness and contact ratio are decent enough for standard usage. The color coverage isn’t impressive at all. If that’s important for your work, you can get the optional 1600p screen. The Dell Latitude 7450 is a snappy little machine with long battery life, a PWM-free display, rich port selection, and good comfort during long max loads.

EN→FRThe Dell Latitude 7450 Ultralight is an impressive business-focused notebook, well-suited to professionals who need a portable yet powerful Windows machine in their carry bag. There’s plenty of grunt, along with the capacity to support AI-intensive applications as they become more common. Yet labelling it “Wi-Fi 7 ready” would have been more honest than hiding its true current Wi-Fi capabilities in the fine print. Of course, the biggest frustration is how Australians are denied the Ultralight’s best features unless they want to pay through the nose for a custom order – seeing them pay about double that of their American brethren.

EN→FRThe Dell Latitude 7450 Ultralight does what it’s made for very well – it’s exceptionally thin, remarkably light and has enough power for both light applications and some heavier tasks. The connectivity is also excellent and a host of Dell technologies go a long way to making life so much easier. Its Achillies heel, however, is its high price point compared to some rivals. Still, it does have the advantage of an Intel Core Ultra processor, which could be a worthwhile edition to your working life.

Intel Graphics 4-Core iGPU (Arrow Lake): Carte graphique intégrée basée sur l'architecture Xe LPG (similaire aux GPU Arc dédiés, mais avec un accent sur l'efficacité). Fournit 4 cœurs Xe (64 moteurs vectoriels Xe) et 4 unités de traçage de rayon.
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

Ultra 7 165U: Puce de milieu de gamme supérieure de la famille Meteor Lake qui a fait ses débuts en décembre 2023. Ce processeur Core Ultra de 1ère génération est venu remplacer les processeurs Core de 13ème génération ; il dispose de 12 cœurs (2 + 8 + 2) et de 14 threads. Ses cœurs Performance, au nombre de 2, tournent jusqu'à 4,9 GHz tandis que ses cœurs Efficient, au nombre de 10 (8 cœurs principaux plus 2 supplémentaires trouvés dans le Low Power Island) tournent jusqu'à 3,8 GHz. L'Intel Arc Graphics à 4 cœurs, tout juste sorti du four, sert d'adaptateur graphique intégré - il fonctionne jusqu'à 2,0 GHz - et une foule d'autres technologies flambant neuves sont également proposées, notamment le NPU AI Boost intégré avec deux moteurs Gen 3 pour l'accélération matérielle des charges de travail d'IA. La consommation de base de ce processeur pour ordinateur portable est de 15 W, la consommation maximale recommandée par Intel pour le Turbo étant de 57 W.
