Still, for the money? It’s hard to knock the HP Omen 17. That’s been our verdict for a few years running now, and it suffices for 2019 as well. It’s neither the lightest laptop nor the fastest, but HP’s made smart choices when it comes to kitting out this bargain build. A better battery, proper RGB lighting, and a reduced size would be welcome revisions—but then it wouldn’t be the Omen 17, and it doubtless wouldn’t come in so cheap.

But so do a lot of other gaming laptops. What really differentiates the Omen 17 is its competitive price. At $1,629, the Omen 17 is one of the best bang-for-your-buck gaming laptops around. Of course, there were some shortcuts taken: The laptop is mostly plastic, and its battery lasts for only a few hours.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile:
Carte graphique pour PC portables haut de gamme, basée sur la puce TU106, avec 2 304 nuanceurs et 8 Go de VRAM GDDR6. Sa fréquence est en baisse par rapport à la variante pour PC de bureau.
Ces cartes graphiques de milieu de gamme peuvent faire tourner tout les jeux récents de façon fluide. Les jeux gourmands ne peuvent être joués qu'avec les détails réglés sur moyen.
