Il s'agit essentiellement d'une tablette similaire aux MatePads, mais elle est dotée de Windows 11, de processeurs Tiger Lake et de Thunderbolt 4.
Nous connaissons déjà les tablettes et les ordinateurs portables de Huawei, mais le fabricant lance aujourd'hui un nouveau convertible appelé MateBook E. Il s'agit essentiellement d'une tablette similaire aux MatePads, mais elle est dotée de Windows 11, de processeurs Tiger Lake et de Thunderbolt 4.

L’ardoise du constructeur chinois, qui concentre de plus en plus ses forces sur le marché PC, du moins en Europe, souffre ainsi d’une autonomie décevante qui ne permettra pas d’atteindre la journée complète de travail sur batterie. Certes, la recharge rapide proposée par la marque compense en partie cette lacune, mais le pari de miser (beaucoup trop) sur la l’efficacité d’un bloc secteur reste tout de même un pari risqué sur un produit avant tout destiné à la mobilité. Cette autonomie limitée est d’autant plus regrettable qu’elle n’est pas contrebalancée, comme sur la Surface Pro 8, par une belle puissance de feu CPU. While the treble and upper mids can be a little abrasive with certain content when the volume is high, the sheer scale of the Huawei MateBook E’s audio impresses, as does the weight of the bass. These speakers make those of the average 3kg gaming laptop seem pretty pathetic. The Huawei MateBook E hits highs with superb colour reproduction and great portability, but short battery life doesn’t cut it as a tablet, and performance can’t compete with the Microsoft Surface Pro 8.

The OLED screen is the star, but it's also well built, with capable cameras, mics and speakers, while the M-Pencil stylus is useful and well implemented. Although performance is on a par with the competition, battery life could be better, and a second on-board USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 port would be welcome. It's also a pity that the tablet, once detached from the keyboard unit, has no way of standing up on its own. What does stand up is the pricing compared to Microsoft's Surface Pro 8. Our review configuration (Core i5, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Smart Magnetic Keyboard, M-Pencil stylus) costs €1,199 in Germany. Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs:

Le CPU est cadencé entre 0,9 et 4,7 GHz. Le TDP est spécifié à seulement 9 watts, ce qui limitera les performances soutenues.
