La Yoga Tablet 10 est une tablette Android abordable et très endurante. Ergonomique et bien pensée, elle est aussi équipée d'un bon écran. Dommage que la définition de l'image ne soit pas plus élevée, que l'interface ait été franchement charcutée par Lenovo et que le capteur photo/vidéo ne soit pas de meilleure qualité. Elle se classe tout de même 7ème dans notre comparatif des tablettes grand format.

You can't help but wonder how much those quirky embelishments and fancy materials have increased costs, though, and it's meant that corners have been cut in the most vital areas - display quality and power. It's a big tablet for little money, though, and that distinctive design and excellent battery life will make it appealing to many - just don't let the premium aesthetics fool you into thinking the innards are equally high-end.

Being brutally honest, probably not. While we like the design and are very impressed with the battery life, it just feels like another also-ran in the incredibly competitive Android tablet space. Its specifications are pretty average and benchmarks suggest a weaker performance than cheaper machines like the Tesco Hudl and even the aging iPad 2. On top of that, the 1,280 x 800 screen resolution is lower than some mobile phones.

Gaming ability is likewise below par. In the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex HD test, it gained a score of 4.8fps, a long way behind modern tablets such as the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9in, which scored 14fps. This is most clearly illustrated in the Tablet 10's skipping and faltering frame rate while playing demanding 3D games such as Asphalt 8: Airborne, a task that ultimately proved too much for it.

The Yoga Tablet 10 looks great and the innovative design is the main selling point of this device. The wedge shape profile means holding it in portrait, in either hand, puts most of the weight in your hand making it more comfortable to use. Lenovo's Yoga Tablet has potential, but ultimately the device feels unfinished. It's a slate with good hardware, complete with a clever kickstand design, that rides on the esteemed Yoga name. Lenovo relied way too heavily on that branding, though; unlike the Ultrabooks with their largely high-caliber specs, the tablet sports an unacceptably mediocre display, packs a sluggish processor and delivers a bizarrely skinned version of Android 4.2.

In short, we really can't recommend the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 to anyone. It has missed its mark, though Lenovo might be onto something with this form factor. At $300 the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 is priced favorably against other 10-inch tablets (unlike it's 8-inch sibling), but you get what you pay for. Although the tablet may seem tempting to shoppers on a budget, you’re honestly better off saving your money for a more premium tablet that offers a better overall experience.

I was genuinely surprised (in a good way) by the Lenovo Yoga Tablet design and overall philosophy, and at the same time, I’m pleased to see that instead of trying to go head-to-head against Nexus 7 Lenovo carved a space for its Android tablet. To make a long story short, Lenovo brings the ultimate tablet battery life, at the expense of performance.

I'll give Lenovo credit here: The Yoga Tablet is a well-built, attractive, and affordable 10-inch tablet. But where it matters most, the Yoga Tablet still lacks any truly compelling aspect to elevate it above the competition. The display is good, but not great. The performance is good, but not great. The software is, well, just not great. The Yoga Tablet is a good tablet at a good price. But unfortunately for Lenovo, there are too many great tablets at a great price, like the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9" for $60 more ($379) or a smaller screen tablet like the Nexus 7 for $229.

Lenovo's Yoga Tablet 10 definitely tried to be different and in some way it succeeds but ultimately it is undone by some budget class features. The tablet is designed to be affordable and it does achieve this compared to other 10-inch tablets. The kickstand and long battery life are its real stand out features although the odd shape can take a while to get used to or carry around.

In line with its asking price, the Yoga 10 has a mediocre screen resolution and a mid-range chipset, but it still does everything you are likely to want a tablet to do and with a decent lick of speed. What separates it from the herd is the rather clever form-factor, which pays dividends should you wish to pop it on a desk or hold it in your hand. If you plan on using your tablet primarily for reading books, watching videos or video chatting then the stand-me-up and sit-you-down stand options and ergonomic bulge are well worth having.

Neither tablet scores particularly well in our benchmarks and you'll like find it in line with the performance of the NVIDIA Tegra 3 released in mid-2012. It was more than capable of handling web browsing and playing back video content but for advanced Android game the Yoga Tablets will likely suffer.

PowerVR SGX544:

Ses cartes graphiques ne sont pas faites pour le jeu. Et même si ils tournent, ce sera avec des erreurs d'affichage et un framerate ignoble. Ce cartes graphique sont totalement incompatible avec les joueurs! les applications de bureau et d'Internet, ne sont pas un problème pour ces cartes graphiques.

MT8125: SoC ARM intégrant un processeur quad-core Cortex-A7 et une carte graphique intégrée PowerVR SGX 544.
