The Acer Swift 14 AI with Intel Core Ultra 5 226V is a compelling option if you are looking for a laptop that offers both portability and performance. It gets the design, chipset power, and display quality right, making it a strong candidate for a general-purpose, use daily laptop. Its price is also relatively good. However, it also comes with its fair share of compromises, such as display brightness, which is naturally on the lower side due to OLED panel, touchpad issues, occasional bugs, and mediocre speakers. And it is these compromises that stop us from recommending the laptop whole-heartedly. But if you are getting a good deal on it and want a light and compact laptop, it can be a useful machine in your backpack.

More importantly, you won’t get access to Pixel Calls with the Google Pixel 9a. Since the feature requires audio processing, the text-only Gemini Nano 1.0 XXS is unable to process it. Oddly enough though, the report notes that recorder summaries will still work fine, because the transcription is done without Gemini, which only summarises said transcript. Because these are system level features that the Pixel 9a is missing, you can’t exactly make up for it by using Google Gemini on the web. If any of these features you absolutely need on your phone, then the Pixel 9a is probably not for you. Which is quite the shame as there’s such a huge price gap between it and the bade model pixel 9.

The laptop is great value for money, no doubt, but it's not because of the AI branding or features. Don't buy the laptop for the AI features, buy it for all the other useful features that it offers. However, if all you need is a good laptop for work or home use, the Swift 14 AI is great.

Intel Arc 130V: Adaptateur graphique intégré utilisé par les processeurs Intel Lunar Lake bas de gamme. Il s'agit du successeur direct de l'iGPU Arc 7 ; il dispose de 7 cœurs d'architecture Xe² fonctionnant jusqu'à 1 850 MHz et de 7 unités de ray tracing. Nous nous attendons à ce que le 130V soit à peu près aussi rapide que la Radeon 780M pour des taux d'images jouables dans la plupart des jeux 2023 et certains jeux 2024 en 1080p avec des paramètres graphiques bas.
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

Core Ultra 5 226V: L'un des processeurs les plus lents de la famille Lunar Lake. Il s'agit d'un SoC destiné aux ordinateurs portables et aux tablettes les plus minces, qui comprend 4 nouveaux E-cores et 4 nouveaux P-cores fonctionnant jusqu'à 4,5 GHz, ainsi que le nouveau iGPU Arc 130V et 16 Go de RAM LPDDR5x-8533 intégrée. Un nouveau moteur neuronal 40 TOPS, la prise en charge des disques SSD TB 4 et PCIe 5 sont également inclus.
