EN→FRIt’s hard not to feel slightly disappointed by the Chromebook Vibe CX55 Flip. Where the Acer Chromebook 516GE felt like a best-of-breed gaming Chromebook that could also tackle anything else, its Asus rival feels like a decent mid-range Chromebook that’s been given a gaming facelift. In fact, it’s not a huge step on from the older Chromebook Flip CX5500, which is now well over a year old. While its battery life, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and audio still put it ahead of many mid-range Chromebooks, you’re not getting the same overall levels of performance and screen quality that you get from the Acer machine. That said, it is less expensive, and with a three-month trial of GeForce Now’s Ultimate tier included it’s still good value for game streaming and everyday use. But why settle for good when you could spend a little more for exceptional, or find something that’s just fine for less?

EN→FRLook, I know I’ve just rattled off a bunch of good individual things about this Chromebook, but at the end of the day, there are others that could technically meet these same criteria. There’s one final step that has to take place, and that is the part of the experience we can’t put a technical measurement on. It’s the part that brings all the good stuff together and builds an experience, and the ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5400 gets that more right than most. Specs are needed for great Chromebooks, there’s no doubting that: but getting all that good stuff to come together to make a great experience takes something else – that immeasurable thing – that undefined quality that just makes you truly enjoy using something. The Flip CX5400 has that thing, and pairing it up to all the superlatives on offer in this Chromebook I have no issue in saying it is my go-to, favorite device in the office right now.

Carte graphique intégrée dans les SoCs Intel Tiger Lake G7 basés sur la nouvelle architecture Gen. 12 avec 80 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La fréquence d'horloge dépend du modèle de processeur. Les puces Tiger Lake sont produites dans le processus moderne 10nm+ chez Intel.
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
