EN→FRIt is always interesting when a laptop from a less popular brand shows up in our office. Well, this one didn’t “show up” – we bought it. And it lowkey put all of the ThinkPads and Latitudes in its back pocket. After all, Japanese engineering is regarded as one of the best around the globe. Well, this particular machine is not really pretty. And no, we are not saying it is industrial, like the ThinkPads. It just looks like it was made in 2005. But, what is more important, is that its structure is absolutely fantastic. While we’re talking about parts, let’s mention the two SODIMM slots, which fit up to 64GB of DDR4 memory. Storage-wise, there is only one M.2 PCIe x4 slot. So, what are this notebook’s disadvantages? Well, its touchpad is a bit small, and the dedicated buttons are not very comfortable. We are also not big fans of the design, but this is purely subjective. AH! Yes, and the lid can’t be opened with a single hand. Overall, there is no particular reason not to get the Fujitsu LifeBook U7512. If you are looking for a secure laptop, for your business needs, this will definitely be the right choice. And, you have the bonus of feeling you live in a world before the 2008 economic crisis.

Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs:
Carte graphique intégrée dans les SoCs Intel Tiger Lake G7 basés sur la nouvelle architecture Gen. 12 avec 80 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La fréquence d'horloge dépend du modèle de processeur. Les puces Tiger Lake sont produites dans le processus moderne 10nm+ chez Intel.
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

i5-1235U:
Un processeur mobile basé sur Alder-Lake avec 2 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent un hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 12 threads. Le CPU tourne à des fréquences allant de 0,9 à 4,4 GHz. Le TDP est spécifié à 15 Watt.
