Le Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 se distingue comme un appareil premium grâce à son châssis élégant aux finitions soignées, un clavier irréprochable et, surtout, son exceptionnelle dalle Oled parfaitement calibrée. Animé par le SoC MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910, il délivre des performances solides pour les tâches de bureautique et le multimédia, tout en assurant une autonomie remarquable de plus de 14 h et un fonctionnement totalement silencieux (sans ventilateur). Cependant, ses qualités sont tempérées par une dalle sujette aux reflets en extérieur et une polyvalence limitée par l'écosystème ChromeOS pour les applications lourdes. Le ChromeBook Plus 14 est un excellent choix lorsque l'on se contente d'un usage bureautique et consultatif si vous avez peur d'être à l'étroit dans ChromeOS, il faudra alors vous tournez soit vers le MacBook Air 13 en M2 actuellement disponible à un prix équivalent ou sous Windows vers un Asus VivoBook S14 à 799 euros.

Well, it might not have the impact of the first Google Pixelbook or the premium appeal of the Pixelbook Go, but there's no denying that it's sleek, powerful, and excellent value for money. True, there are areas where the Galaxy Chromebook Plus and ExpertBook CX54 come out on top – the former on design, the latter on screen resolution – but Lenovo's new flagship Chromebook has the edge overall while beating the Asus on price. If there wasn’t a Lenovo Logo on this Chromebook’s lid, you’d think it was made by Google. There really is everything a Chrome OS die-hard could ask from a 2025 Pixelbook revival here, including a price that makes other high-ticket Chromebooks seem well off the mark. A Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus might have a larger screen and more connectivity as standard, but I prefer the Lenovo’s more compact chassis – and its speakers are in a league of their own. For sheer value, few Windows-powered rivals come close. Whether this can be your only computer depends on what apps you use on the daily. I personally couldn’t get by without Photoshop, or being able to batch rename files. That pushed the Lenovo into second laptop territory for me. But if you don’t have to use specific software, this is a fantastic way to live a life of laptop luxury without breaking the bank.

My days of dunking on Chromebooks are over. The Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 is one of the best laptops I’ve used all year. Not only is it all really well-put together with a great design, ergonomics, a beautiful OLED display and sharp webcam, but Chrome OS has come along leaps and bounds to be a seriously good AI-fueled system that can help you get things done. If $649 is in your budget for heading to college or looking for an all-dayer for productivity, this stamina monster is a fantastic buy, and the true realization of the Chromebook vision that has turned me into a fan.

I’ve had the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 in my bag for a bit over 6 weeks at this point, and I have to be honest with you: I knew it was my favorite Chromebook ever after just a few hours of use. Seeing it at the Chromebook Showcase in New York back in June was only a small taste of what makes this device so special, and like many others, I wasn’t 100% sold on its awesomeness right away. However, after putting it in the bag and having it by my side for real-world work in my new reality that has me working directly from my laptop in all sorts of settings these days, I have no issue saying that this is my favorite Chromebook ever made.

After spending a week with the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14, I can confidently say it’s one of the best Chromebooks I’ve used. It’s fast, the design is lovely, and that OLED screen? Still can’t get over how good it looks, especially on a device under $750. Battery life is very good as well–it just keeps on chugging along. Yeah, the AI features are nice-to-have more than must-have, and the tiny function keys take some getting used to, but those are small complaints in an otherwise killer package. Lenovo crushed it. This Chromebook hits hard on performance, display, and battery life. It also just feels great to use day in and day out. If you’re shopping for a Chromebook, this one should be at the top of your list. That Editors’ Choice badge up top? It’s well-earned.

Would I recommend using a Chromebook for work? Absolutely, especially if you're losing support for Windows in the near future. The Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 is a versatile device that sits at the top of the lineup (for now, at least) with exclusive ChromeOS features. Paired with a light form factor, vivid OLED display, fantastic battery life, and affordable price, it's the best Chromebook I've tested yet, and a standout device for a variety of use cases. Utilizing ChromeOS to its fullest takes a little bit of a learning curve (but not that much) as well as some adjustments with how you organize and navigate your digital workspace. If you live in the cloud, work out of a browser, and orbit around Google's suite of productivity apps, it's a no-brainer.

The only thing I think I could ask for on this device that it doesn’t deliver on is in the port selection. A single USB Type C adorns both sides with one USB Type A. The headphone/mic jack made the cut, but that is all. There’s room here for an HDMI port, and I think they missed by not including one. While an SD card slot is also nice, with an option to have 256GB of storage inside, it’s not needed quite as much. But that’s it! That’s all I have to really correct on this device, and I’m honestly fine with pulling my USB-C dock out of the bag when needed. And I suppose that highlights the best overall part of this Chromebook experience for me. When I reach for the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14, I’m never let down. The entire experience is so well crafted, refined, and enjoyable that I have no problem calling this the best overall Chromebook ever made.

It’s a shame Google STILL hasn’t released a Pixelbook Go 2, but this looks to be a fine alternative. It seems to be well made, comes with an OLED display and a fast new ARM chip that should deliver long battery life. And the price looks to be pretty competitive as well, with a starting price of £599 for the non-touchscreen version. Nothing will quite capture the imagination like a new Pixelbook, but let’s hope that this one delivers on its promise.

When the clamshell Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 arrived last year, I confidently called it the best Chromebook I had ever used. When the newer 2-in-1 version arrived at Best Buy a bit out of the blue a few months back, I was pretty eager to see if Lenovo was capable of building a cheaper, convertible version of the Chromebook I absolutely love that still possessed some of the good stuff from the more expensive, clamshell only version. After spending some real-world time with it, there’s a lot to love about this device for sure, but there’s also a lot of uncertainty I still have about recommending it above a few other specific devices it is clearly competing with.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" de la légende anglaise, novo (latin) pour nouveau) a été fondée en 1984 en tant que société chinoise de commerce d'ordinateurs. En 2004, la société était le plus grand fabricant d'ordinateurs portables en Chine et, après l'acquisition de la division PC d'IBM en 2005, le quatrième au monde. En plus des ordinateurs de bureau et des ordinateurs portables, la société fabrique des moniteurs, des projecteurs, des serveurs, etc., et se spécialise dans le développement, la fabrication et la commercialisation d'électronique grand public, d'ordinateurs personnels, de logiciels, de solutions d'entreprise et de services connexes.

En 2016, l'entreprise s'est classée au premier rang mondial des ventes d'ordinateurs. Il le détenait encore en 2023 avec environ 23% de part de marché mondiale. Les gammes de produits importantes sont Thinkpad, Legion et Ideapad.

En 2011, elle a acquis une participation majoritaire dans Medion AG, un fabricant européen de matériel informatique. En 2014, Motorola Mobility a été racheté, ce qui a donné un coup de pouce à Lenovo sur le marché des smartphones.

Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

Mediatek MediaTek Kompanio:

Kompanio Ultra 910: SoC haut de gamme basé sur ARM pour les Chromebooks à partir de 2025 avec 8 cœurs. Dans ce cas, il y a un ARM Cortex-X925 jusqu'à 3,62 GHz, trois Cortex-X4 jusqu'à 3,25 GHz et quatre Cortex-A720 jusqu'à 2 GHz.

Intel Alder Lake-N:

Core 3 N355: Processeur mobile (SoC) d'entrée de gamme de la famille Twin Lake qui est pratiquement identique à Alder Lake-N. Il offre 8 cœurs efficaces (Gracemont) et un iGPU très basique. La vitesse d'horloge maximale des cœurs du processeur est de 3,9 GHz.
