The system’s unforgivable flaw is the display, which would be disappointing on a system sold at half the price. Despite this, it's a well-built gaming rig, and it will play even demanding high-end games without so much as a stutter. While the Editors' Choice MSI GX60 1AC-021US remains our top pick due to its longer battery life and affordability, the IdeaPad Y510p is a good machine, and worth looking at if you want gaming prowess combined with Lenovo's reliability.

The only gamer-dedicated laptop in Lenovo's vast catalogue, the Ideapad Y510p uses two graphics cards to provide high-performance gaming. The Ideapad Y510p is a well-built laptop that can support a wide range of uses thanks to a beefy configuration (two graphics cards with SLI, Core i7...). It's just a shame that Lenovo didn't concentrate a little more on the screen, which is very bad, and the speakers.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" de la légende anglaise, novo (latin) pour nouveau) a été fondée en 1984 en tant que société chinoise de commerce d'ordinateurs. En 2004, la société était le plus grand fabricant d'ordinateurs portables en Chine et, après l'acquisition de la division PC d'IBM en 2005, le quatrième au monde. En plus des ordinateurs de bureau et des ordinateurs portables, la société fabrique des moniteurs, des projecteurs, des serveurs, etc., et se spécialise dans le développement, la fabrication et la commercialisation d'électronique grand public, d'ordinateurs personnels, de logiciels, de solutions d'entreprise et de services connexes.

En 2016, l'entreprise s'est classée au premier rang mondial des ventes d'ordinateurs. Il le détenait encore en 2023 avec environ 23% de part de marché mondiale. Les gammes de produits importantes sont Thinkpad, Legion et Ideapad.

En 2011, elle a acquis une participation majoritaire dans Medion AG, un fabricant européen de matériel informatique. En 2014, Motorola Mobility a été racheté, ce qui a donné un coup de pouce à Lenovo sur le marché des smartphones.

Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
