Now, while we can recommend the MSI Claw 8 to anyone looking for a premium Windows handheld, it may not be suitable for everyone. For instance, if you want to benefit from extra (controller or keyboard) inputs, even in Gamepad control mode, the MSI Claw 8 falls short here. It feels more like a console than a proper PC handheld, so we hope MSI will add the ability to remap controls in Desktop mode and assign keyboard and mouse buttons as secondary functions in Gamepad mode in future updates. If you demand reliable software that doesn't bug out, while offering a ton of handy features, you should take a look at the ASUS ROG Ally, ASUS ROG Ally X, Steam Deck LCD, or Steam Deck OLED instead.

At an MSRP of $1000, the MSI Claw 8 AI+ is asking gamers for a big investment up front, and if you already have a handheld, a laptop, even a Switch 2 that you use regularly, that pricetag may simply make this device, as impressive as it is from a technical standpoint, not worth the money. However, if you are looking for a new primary gaming device (or just have money to burn I guess) this is almost certainly the best handheld currently available. Despite some problems I had with ergonomics, the onboard software, and the battery life, the MSI Claw 8 AI+ still is one premium purchase you'll probably be glad you made.

If you’re willing to sacrifice performance, the Steam Deck OLED 1TB $649 model is a great way to play less demanding games without Windows 11 woes while the original ASUS ROG Ally offers exceptional value. The Claw 8AI+ outperforms competing handhelds and has re-sparked my love for playing games on the go, but its asking price is a tough pill to swallow.

On the other hand, the new ergonomics leave room for improvement; the performance needs a boost; and the price has officially entered the laptop zone. We still prefer the Editors'-Choice-award-holding Asus ROG Ally X and Steam Deck among handhelds, and if you're not hell-bent on a handheld, your dollar will still go further with a gaming laptop.

Like the ROG Ally X, you get some decent battery life for a portable gamer. Over two hours of AAA action is standard, even when playing at 1200p resolution with the graphics scaled up. Performance also stays strong thanks to the MSI Claw 8 AI Plus' Lunar Lake smarts and that dual fan cooling. It's not an OLED screen but that panel is bright and boasts decent contrast for an IPS. Those stereo speakers are beefy too. And the MSI Claw 8 AI+ also offers an easily replaceable SSD (not tested), and pull-out controls for customising your game. But is it as good as the ASUS ROG Ally X and Steam Deck? If it wasn't for the sky high price, I'd say snap it up. However, you may wish to wait for the MSI Claw 8 AI+ to be on sale first.

Intel Arc 140V: Un adaptateur graphique intégré assez rapide que certains processeurs Intel Lunar Lake utiliseraient. La 140V possède 8 cœurs d'architecture Xe² fonctionnant jusqu'à 2 050 MHz et 8 unités de ray tracing ; elle est compatible avec DirectX 12 Ultimate et prend également en charge tous les codecs vidéo modernes. Si l'on en croit les récentes fuites de résultats de tests, ses performances de jeu devraient être légèrement supérieures à celles de la MX570 de GeForce.

Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
