Well, okay – it is meant for gaming, so it is not expected to give you a lifetime on battery, but after all, this is a portable device. Take the Alienware 15 R3, for example – it is loaded with a huge 99Wh battery. We think that a portable computer should provide you with more than just 3 hours and 44 minutes of web browsing that you get with this notebook. Not only that but this unit may not go through an episode of Lord of the Rings on a single charge… shame. Going back to reality, we really enjoyed the keyboard with its RGB backlight, and the touchpad, which is far more adequate than some of the laptops in this category. The good cooling solution and the ease of use of the Dragon Center utility, combined with the super useful fan boost button just add to the greatness of this device.

Carte graphique du milieu - haut de gamme pour PC portables, basée sur l'architecture Turing, avec Ray Tracing et 1 920 nuanceurs. La fréquence est réduite par rapport à la carte graphique pour PC de bureau du même nom.
Ces cartes graphiques de milieu de gamme peuvent faire tourner tout les jeux récents de façon fluide. Les jeux gourmands ne peuvent être joués qu'avec les détails réglés sur moyen.

Processeur basé sur l'architecture Coffee Lake, pour les portables gros et lourds. Intègre six cœurs cadencés entre 2,2 et 4,1 GHz (4 GHz avec 4 cœurs, 3,9 GHz avec 6 cœurs), qui supportent l'hyper-threading. Fabriqué en 14 nm amélioré (14 nm++).
