70% Nothing Phone 3a Review – Nothing to sneeze at
Source: Amateur Photographer Anglais EN→FR
The Nothing 3a looks unique and it makes you want to love it, with a great user interface that also looks much more stylish than most other phones. The inclusion of a triple camera setup on the rear is generous, especially for the price. The 2x telephoto camera may seem a little bit lacking, as you can often get good 2x crops from a good main camera, however, if you think of the 2x telephoto camera as a 2x/4x camera, then it starts to make more sense. If this is a real deal-breaker, then the 3x telephoto camera on the 3a Pro could be for you – it also benefits from OIS on the telephoto. In terms of photographs from the camera(s) on the phone, we’re left a little disappointed by the overall look of the photos. If you view them on the screen or at a smaller size they look good, and in isolation they look good enough.

80% Nothing Phone 3a review: a Goldilocks budget phone
Source: Digital Camera World Anglais EN→FR
While there’s nothing remarkable about the Phone 3a’s performance, its considered design stands out, the camera mix is competitive for the price, especially when it comes to photos, and it doesn’t drop the ball in any key area other than video frame rates. Nothing’s interface is also charming, and while the new Essential Space is anything but essential, it’s good to see a more original take on AI, especially on a midrange phone. Alternatives include the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus, which offers a superior primary camera but weaker zoom and less charming styling, the Poco X7 Pro if gaming is your priority, the CMF Phone 2 Pro if you don’t mind missing out on OIS and a bit of camera quality, or the pricier Phone 3a Pro with its periscope zoom and virtually identical spec everywhere else.

100% Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro review: Two’s a crowd
Source: Expert Reviews Anglais EN→FR
The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro really needed more to better differentiate it from its sibling a faster processor, LTPO display, 4K/60fps video and wireless charging all come to mind as options. The periscope telephoto camera is excellent but it isnt enough to justify the extra cost. If you really want it, Id wait until the Phone (3a) Pro is discounted below £400. The Phone (3a), however, is an absolute delight. It packs a solid telephoto camera of its own, which is near-enough unheard of for phones this cheap, and makes improvements in just about every way that matters, with a brighter display, faster performance and better battery life. Id love to see Nothing matching the software support of Samsung and Google in the future but even still, the Phone (3a) is easily the brands best handset to date.

At this point, the Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro seem to be an omen that indicates Nothing might be looking to raise prices across the board with minor upgrades to make it a more “premium” brand. We hope we're wrong and that Nothing continues making great phones at reasonable prices in the foreseeable future. To raise prices so dramatically, we think it would take an impressive R&D division to elevate their originality beyond their edgy counterculture aesthetic into something branded and unique. We’ll certainly be watching the upcoming flagship Nothing Phone (3) to see how Nothing plans to move the brand forward.

Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro Smartphones Review
Source: OI Spice Tech News Anglais EN→FR
The Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro smartphones are two fantastic mid-range phones. They are uniquely designed and equipped with all the hardware components that a mid-range phone must have. The displays are also fantastic with an excellent viewing experience. The chipsets inside the two phones is also quite fast for everyday tasks. You can even run graphically demanding games smoothly. The camera performance of the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro are exceptional for this price range and will certainly impress you. The periscopic telephoto camera of Nothing Phone 3a Pro is exceptionally good. The same excellence is also seen in the battery and charging side of things. The pricing of the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro is also fantastic, and we can easily recommend them.

80% Nothing Phone (3a) review: not just the bare essentials
Source: T3 Anglais EN→FR
Even though the base Phone (3a) misses out on its Pro-branded sibling's more accomplished camera, it still takes good photos and otherwise serves up Nothing's unique high-quality smartphone experience at a compelling price. The headline upgrade – Essential Space – is a smart example of AI integration in theory, but in practice it needs a fair bit of refinement to be truly 'essential'. Nonetheless, the Nothing Phone (3a) is a standout entry in its class.

80% Comparing the Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro reveals three big differences
Source: Tech Advisor Anglais EN→FR
For most people, the Phone (3a) is the better deal and we think it’s the better phone overall with all things considered. It looks great, performs well, and has a solid camera setup without the extra bulk and cost of the Pro. Unless you specifically want the better telephoto camera or higher-res selfie camera, there’s little reason to spend more on the Pro, especially with its massive and somewhat ugly camera bump.

80% If the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro fixed this one thing I would tell everyone to buy them
Source: Android Authority Anglais EN→FR
As I said from the start, I really like both the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend either one for its mix of battery life, flexible cameras, and near-stock Android skin. Nothing’s transparent design continues to win me over, too, even if there’s not much purpose behind the style. I’d even tell a prospective buyer to give either the Phone 3a or 3a Pro a try just for the convenience of the Essential Space — and I’d actually have to do so since the reliance on the hardware button means that the feature isn’t backwards compatible. I’d sway most people to the $379 Nothing Phone 3a over the $459 Phone 3a Pro simply due to the price difference helping alleviate some of the minor gripes like a limited IP rating and software policy, plus the latter’s beefy camera bump.

80% Nothing Phone (3a) Review: a Cool Phone for People Who Want to Save Money
Source: Gizmodo Anglais EN→FR
The Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro are a good deal if you’re not looking for the most powerful smartphone in the world. The Phone (3a) starts at $380, and the Phone (3a) Pro starts at $460. Both devices come with 256GB of storage. You’re after something different if you’re even reading this and these are the phones for you. Not because of the capabilities of its insides, but because you’re bored with the status quo. Nothing is one of the few companies still holding out for some semblance of the Android platform past, when it was about nerding out over the device in hand. The Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro might also be a welcome respite from how Google and Samsung have joined forces to pursue Gemini AI. There is no Gemini forced onto these phones, though Nothing appears to be toying with some idea of integrated artificial intelligence. At the very least, this latest generation of see-through smartphones isn’t asking you to make giant sacrifices in pursuit of something else.

Source: Zdnet.com Anglais EN→FR
Despite rare and understandable compromises in camera quality, the Nothing Phone 3a makes all the right tradeoffs for a budget device. It stands out with its signature design, delivers impressive battery performance, and features a phenomenal display. The Essential Space feature is refreshingly subtle in its AI implementation, unlike most competitors, who aggressively showcase their AI capabilities. Nothing's Phone 3a reflects remarkable restraint and a clear vision from a young company. While some may dismiss Nothing's design choices as pure novelty, experiencing their devices firsthand reveals their unique signature is more than superficial.

Even with its growing lineup of devices, Nothing remains a relatively small company. Its future direction is uncertain, but the brand appears to be leaning more toward midrange and value-focused smartphones while adding a pinch of its quirky takes on design and UX. Of course, the true test will be the upcoming Nothing Phone (3), and if the Nothing Phone (3a) is any indication, expectations are high for what's next. We definitely liked our time with the Nothing Phone (3a). Surprisingly, we didn't miss the 3x periscope telephoto of the Pro model all that much. Without it, the vanilla model arguably offers a better value proposition.

Is the Nothing Phone 3a the best mid-range phone of the year?
Source: Calcalistech Anglais EN→FR
The Nothing 3a is a highly successful mid-range device that competes with slightly more expensive models. Its price gives it a significant advantage: it starts at around $350 for a model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and goes up to $430 for a model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Some competing devices with similar specifications cost over $500 and often come preloaded with numerous unnecessary apps. Despite its competitive pricing, the 3a doesn’t feel cheap—whether in terms of build quality, durability, or performance. The Nothing 3a continues the company’s trend of offering strong mid-range devices with unique design elements. It delivers excellent value with competitive pricing, solid performance, and an improved camera system. While its AI features and new shortcut button may take time to prove their usefulness, the overall package makes it a compelling choice in the mid-range market.

The Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro offer tremendous value for $379 and $459. It's really hard to criticize Nothing for any of the component choices, and if you're willing to take a risk on the company's limited US warranty and want something unique, these are the phones to buy. For everyone else, it's safer to buy something like the Pixel 9a or Galaxy S24 FE directly from your carrier. You won't have to worry about calling your carrier about your phone, and you'll get a longer one-year warranty. Additionally, both Google and Samsung offer up to seven years of software support with their latest devices.

Nothing Phone (3a) vs Nothing Phone (3a) Pro: what's the difference?

At the end of the day, those are mostly the same phone. Same hardware and screens, same experience with the software and Essential Space. The Pro has a slightly better camera and — in my opinion — a more attractive design on the back. But yes, that is highly subjective. So, it boils down to this — if you think that a slightly better camera is worth $80, then just get the Pro. Overall, the Nothing Phone (3a) is a fair mid-range device with Nothing's eye-catching design and a great display. However, the performance and cameras are fair given the price of this phone – it's decent at best. So, how much is the Nothing Phone (3a)? The smartphone goes for 19,999 pesos for the 8GB variant while the 12GB model goes for 22,490 pesos. If you want to get into the Nothing community by making this your daily driver, you certainly get heads turning thanks to its design and their infamous Glyph LEDs along with an additional button for your screenshots. The Nothing Phone (3a) would be a good phone at double its price, so its $379 cost just makes it that much more compelling. It leans into its plastic materials in a way that feels authentic and attractive. The phone doesn’t have every feature possible, wireless charging being a glaring omission. But it does have a fingerprint sensor and can utilize face unlock as some niceties to go along with the foundational specs. The 3a probably won’t or shouldn’t be tempting enough for any iPhone user to switch to Android.

The Nothing Phone (3a) has undoubtedly raised the standard for what a lower mid-range smartphone can offer, from the premium design to the minimal and accessible software to the specs. Okay. So all in all, I’d say the Nothing Phone (3a) is one hell of a midrange phone. Besides the head-turning design, it also has a fantastic OLED display, all-day battery life, and smooth software experience. A combo that’s truly hard to find in this segment. And like last year’s Nothing Phone (2a), this is among the few midrange devices that carefully avoid any of those “dealbreaker” types of issues. Of course, this one’s not for the gamers. Go with the Infinix GT 20 Pro if you want the best gaming experience under NPR 50,000 rupees. And like I mentioned before, the Phone (3a)’s cameras also need a bit of tender loving care. Particularly in terms of color consistency, highlight management, and consistency across the lenses. But looking back at Nothing’s history of software updates, I’m sure these things will be sorted out with a couple of future updates. Making it such a balanced midrange phone.

80% Nothing Phone 3a Review: Design Over Everything?
Source: NDTV Gadgets Anglais EN→FR
With its focus on design and balanced hardware choices, Nothing certainly has come up with a winner in the mid-range (budget in global markets). It beautifully combines hardware, cosmetic design, and software. And it's even more applause-worthy, given that so much effort has been put into a low-end mid-ranger! That said, the new camera hardware is an upgrade over the previous model. While it works alright, Nothing should work on delivering more camera updates to improve its performance even further. Indeed, there are better performance-oriented alternatives like the Poco F6 (Review), and spec-heavy options like the OnePlus Nord CE 4 (Review) and the recently launched "flagship killer" iQOO Neo 10R (First Impressions) in India. But when it comes to design and software execution, Nothing's Phone 3a is a phone I can pick up and use when I get bored of other smartphones. 80% Nothing Phone (3a) Review: The Best Sub-$400 Smartphone?
Source: Nextpit EN Anglais EN→FR
The $300 to $400 price range is highly competitive sector where many manufacturers try to stand out from the crowd with a special feature (or two). With Nothing, their strength clearly lies in the design. However, it is not just the appearance that impresses, but also the overall package without any major weaknesses. The workmanship is high quality and the display also worked well outdoors with its high brightness. Together with top performance, solid battery life, and usable cameras, the Nothing Phone 3(a) offers a convincing overall package for $379. The doubling of storage space from 128 GB to 256 GB is also fairly priced at $50 more. If you like taking photos and especially appreciate the 3x zoom, you can take a closer look at the Nothing Phone 3(a) Pro, which is otherwise identical in all other aspects.

80% Nothing Phone 3A and 3A Pro review: Brimming with nostalgia but mighty in every sense
Source: The Indian Express Anglais EN→FR
Compared to Nothing’s past offerings, the camera system on the Phone 3A and 3A Pro is a significant improvement—it’s a night-and-day difference. The ultrawide and main cameras produce impressive photos with excellent detail and quality. Images turned out remarkably well in good lighting conditions, even with challenging subjects like trees and grass. What surprised me most was the camera’s performance as the light diminished—typically, mobile phone cameras struggle with noise and loss of detail. However, the Phone 3A Pro held its ground.

Nothing Phone (3a) series first impressions - Nice design tweaks, better cameras, and a different spin on the AI game
Source: Tech Nave Anglais EN→FR
So far, we love how the two new phones look and perform. Priced at RM1699 and RM1999, the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro offer great value for people who want a solid mid-range device that works. It doesn't have some of the fancy features available on flagship phones, such as wireless charging. However, we think they offer good value considering their asking prices.

Nothing Phone 3a review: A mid-ranger with something in store for everyone
Source: Business Standard Anglais EN→FR
Priced at Rs 24,999, the Phone 3a presents strong value for those seeking a well-rounded daily driver. It delivers sufficient power for routine tasks, captures decent photos, offers excellent battery life, and maintains a refined software experience. The absence of features like wireless charging is less noticeable at this price point. However, for those needing greater versatility in the camera department, the Phone 3a Pro would be the better choice.

80% Nothing Phone 3a Review: the new champion of value
Source: Digital Trends Anglais EN→FR
If you judge the Nothing Phone 3a by flagship standards, it falls short in some areas. However, look at the price and you quickly realize just how good this phone is. We’ve used Pixel a series devices in the past, and it always felt like a lot of compromises, but the Phone 3a feels more like a flagship that’s almost double the price than a typical mid-range phone. NothingOS is refreshingly different, the glyphs help you stand out and even the Essential Space has some good ideas. The camera is capable, yet inconsistent, but the battery life is outstanding. Achieving a low price point requires making many compromises, and Nothing has made the best combination of compromises at this price point. It would be easy to dismiss the Phone 3a as much ado about Nothing, but the Phone 3a has taught me that there is something special about Nothing. The Phone 3a can compete against the best affordable phones, and many of the best overall phones, so I can’t wait for the next flagship, the Nothing Phone 3.

80% Nothing Phone 3a review: Software and design make it stand out
Source: India Today Anglais EN→FR
The Nothing Phone 3a is a good-enough package at a starting price of Rs 24,999. In fact, it is more than good enough. If I am getting a Rs 25,000 phone, I will all things considered get the Phone 3a. That is because at this price, you are getting a host of premium features including a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, 5,000mAh battery and an Essential Space. And of course, in the Nothing Phone 3a you also get a device that has a unique design and aesthetics that can’t be matched by any other phone. Having said that, there are some areas that could have been better. I would have preferred a better camera system for sure. So, while you consider the Phone 3a do keep that in mind as well.

80% Nothing Phone (3a) review: Incredible value
Source: BGR Anglais EN→FR
The Nothing Phone (3a) delivers a lot of value for its $379 price, making it one of the most compelling budget smartphones available. It offers a sleek design, a bright and smooth display, and a camera setup that includes a rare telephoto lens in this price range. Performance is strong for everyday use, and while it won’t match flagship phones, it holds up well against similarly priced competition. Battery life is solid, and while the lack of wireless charging is disappointing, the 50W wired charging helps make up for it.

Nothing Phone 3a Review | Upgrade to Pro?
Source: Tech Spurt Anglais
Reviewing the Nothing Phone 3a with a comparison vs the Pro, to see how they stack up for camera abilities, gaming performance, battery life and beyond. This unboxing and two week review includes my Nothing Phone 3a verdict - spoiler alert, one of the best budget mid-range phones of 2025, easy. The main difference vs the 3a Pro is that camera setup, but the regular smartphone should appease most people. That zoom lens isn't as capable (especially at night), but you still get good looking pics in most conditions, as long as your subject isn't moving.

Nothing Phone 3a Review: A for Affordable, Attractive, and AI-Powered
Source: The Tech Revolutionist Anglais EN→FR
The Nothing Phone 3a is a device that punches above its weight in several key areas. Design-wise, it remains one of the most eye-catching phones in its price range, with the Glyph lighting system and transparent back making it stand out in a crowded market. Performance-wise, it delivers solid results for most tasks, and while it’s not a powerhouse, it’s more than capable of handling everyday use. The camera system is a pleasant surprise, offering great results for the price, and the battery life ensures that you can get through a full day of usage without worrying about recharging. While the Nothing Phone 3a Pro offers some improvements, such as a faster chip and slightly better performance, the Phone 3a holds its own, offering a great balance of style, performance, and price. If you’re looking for a well-rounded mid-range phone that doesn’t break the bank, the Nothing Phone 3a is definitely an easy recommend.

Nothing Phone (3a) Review: Familiar Face, Familiar Reliability
Source: Yanko Design Anglais EN→FR
While the first Nothing Phone turned heads with its distinctive design and Glyph Interface gimmick, the brand has made a name for itself with its blend of well-thought design, impressive performance, and competitive pricing. Nowhere is there truer than with Nothing’s “a” series that continues to shake up the mid-range smartphone market, especially with the arrival of the Phone (3a). It might not look like a significant upgrade from the outside, but Nothing combines a familiar and trusted design with improvements across the board, prioritizing reliability over fancy new designs and features.et.

Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro review: Nothing is Essential
Source: Android Central Anglais EN→FR
Nothing is back with a brilliant pair of budget-minded phones, but it's not as big a win for the company this year as it was last year. Competitors like Poco and Honor have improved admirably in this space, and Nothing's choice of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 means gaming performance, in particular, is much worse than last year's phone. But there's something to be said about Nothing's style and impressive software. The company is second only to Google in its software update cadence, offering tons of new features for its phones every few months. I really like what Nothing OS has become in a few short years and love seeing it morph into something that looks and feels truly unique.

Of course, if you want a different sort of AI, the Nothing Phone 3a also comes with Google Gemini, which can work with most of Google's own apps, such as the Google Calendar app in the above scenario. The Nothing Phone 3a doesn't appear to come with AI eraser for your photos, or AI tools that you can use for images, but you can pay for a Google One subscription for this. Other features of the Phone 3a include the Glyph Interface, which you can use as a timer, or a notification alert when your screen is facing downwards. While I do think it's cool, it hasn't been that useful to me since I keep the screen facing up (yes I admit I may have a screen time problem).

70% Nothing Phone 3a Review: A Phone That Looks as Different as It Feels
Source: Think Digit Anglais EN→FR
What makes the Phone 3a cool isn’t just any single feature but the cohesive vision behind it. It’s genuinely interesting, capable, and fun to use. From hardware to software, Nothing has created a device with a clear identity and purpose in a market where many phones feel interchangeable. The Nothing Phone 3a dares to be different with its signature transparent back and refined Glyph Interface. It brings meaningful upgrades, from a glass-backed design for enhanced durability to a versatile triple-camera system and a well-optimized Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. When paired with Nothing OS 3.1, you get a minimal yet feature-rich Android experience. But does it do enough to stand out in the competitive sub-₹25K segment?

100% Nothing Phone 3a review: this is the one you want
Source: Stuff TV Anglais EN→FR
With so little to separate the 3a from its Pro bigger brother, I feel it’s the better choice for most price-savvy smartphone shoppers. I’ll admit I’m not the biggest fan of the Pro’s stocky rear camera array, and if you largely ignore your phone’s zoom button, you’re really not missing out on anything. Essential Space needs more time to grow before it becomes a reason to buy a Nothing phone, and I think the button placement could use a rethink before the flagship Phone 3 arrives later in the year. But those are really my only quibbles. What’s left is one of the most comprehensive affordable phones out there, with the stand-out styling, unique features and slick software Nothing does so well.

The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro also sports a 50-megapixel periscope camera with 6x in-sensor zoom. In-sensor zoom uses image crop to provide a closer look at the subject without losing image quality. The 6x zoomed photos look good and offer a similar image quality to the other cameras on the device. Honestly, the Nothing Phone (3a) series cameras take good shots, and I’d even be happy if the Nothing Phone (3) had similar shooters. Except, I hope it doesn’t have that same ugly camera module and looks more similar to the Nothing Phone (2) or the Nothing Phone (3a.) I like the Nothing Phone (3a) series.

Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro hands-on review: This town ain’t big enough for the both of us
Source: Expert Reviews Anglais EN→FR
My initial feeling about these handsets is that they could have just been one phone. There aren’t many significant differences between them and while I have high hopes for the (3a) Pro’s periscope telephoto camera, I don’t think it will be impressive enough to justify the extra £70 to £120 in price. That’s a question to be settled when I come to the full reviews, however. For now, it’s clear that the Phone (3a) series makes several exciting improvements to last year’s models. The displays are bigger and brighter, both models get a new telephoto camera and the simplified approach to AI looks genuinely useful. I’ll have a lot more to say on the Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro in the coming weeks – including which of them I feel is most worth your time – but for now, I feel confident that Nothing has at least one more bargain mid-range phone on its hands.

Nothing Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro hands-on review
Source: GSM Arena Anglais EN→FR
The new Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro don't stray too much from the established Nothing formula, yet they remain quite uniquely positioned on the market, even based on looks alone. Adding a third telephoto camera in this generation is a nice touch. The Pro is clearly the way to go if the telephoto is a big priority for you, but for many, the 2x on the vanilla will suffice just fine. As for the rest of the devices, there is pretty much perfect convergence. Both use the same display, which we found to be excellent in person, and both rely on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which, while not a flagship chip, has plenty of performance to throw around. Though far from industry-leading, the three-year software support promise is also decent enough.
