La Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 est une tablette sans grande originalité, c'est certain. Cette nouvelle version est dans la droite lignée des tablettes haut de gamme du constructeur, et propose une expérience qui ne chamboulera pas les habitudes des utilisateurs. Mais une fois ceci posé, quel plaisir d'utiliser un appareil aussi qualitatif et polyvalent au quotidien. Techniquement, Samsung fait un quasi-sans-faute avec une conception soignée, un sublime écran OLED 2K qui flatte la rétine, des performances de haut-vol et un système d'exploitation parfaitement optimisé. Le mode DeX est toujours aussi réussi pour transformer la tablette en PC d'appoint tandis que le stylet S-Pen est fourni dans la boite, une petite attention qui multiplie les usages de l'appareil durant la journée. Des défauts, il y en a. Mineurs certes.

And guess what? ​The Tab S11 is easily my favorite Android tablet right now. ​I’ve reviewed a bunch of budget and midrange Samsung tablets at this point, although after daily-driving this thing for a couple of weeks, it’s hard not to see what I’ve been missing out on all those years. I always had to deal with different “ifs” and “buts” with those midrange Galaxy Tabs—and man—this is a whole new world. ​I also love how Samsung has course-corrected with its tablet lineup this time. ‘Cause if you remember, there was no “Galaxy Tab S10” last year. Not everybody has something to trade-in -- and the trade-in value tends to be best for older Galaxy Tabs -- but some of the value of owning a Tab is that once you buy one, you can trade it in for a nice chunk of change even three years later (as I said, the Tab S8 Plus would fetch $450 in trade-in value while the Tab S8 is listed at $400). Apple's latest iPad Pro models are more powerful devices, but in the Android tablet world, anyway, there really isn't anything quite as sleek or slim with a great display that offers excellent performance as the Tab S11, which is why we've awarded it an Editors' Choice.

Viewed in a vacuum, the Galaxy Tab S11 is an excellent tablet. Compact, lightweight, and powerful, it is one of the better ways to consume media at home in a practical way. It boasts some very decent battery life and has one of the better displays on a compact Android tablet. However, when you consider previous Galaxy Tab S devices, it's not an enormous improvement. In fact, you should probably not consider upgrading from the older Galaxy Tab S9, especially if you experience no outstanding issues with that one. Overall, we'd recommend the Galaxy Tab S11 to anyone willing to experience Android and Samsung's latest One UI on a slightly larger screen than the average Samsung device and especially to users who enjoy experiencing media in the best way possible.

The vanilla Galaxy Tab S11 comes in a smaller package and weighs less. The battery is smaller, but this comes from the size. You will have noticed that there’s no Tab S11 Plus this year and that’s a shame because it provided a direct rival for Apple’s 13in iPad Pro tablet. With that gone, the iPad Pro’s closest rival, certainly among Samsung Tablets, is the rather large Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, which is considerably less wieldy. Still, given that it is slated to cost the same as the iPad Pro at £1,199 you could argue that you’re getting rather more tablet for your money. That’s especially true as Samsung continues to include its S Pen stylus in the box and, rather generously, is also throwing in a keyboard case for free for all customers who order one before the 28th of October. Either way, we’ll be testing both new tablets and reviewing them in full just as soon as we can get our hands on review samples so please be sure to check back in the next few weeks as we deliver our final verdict.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 looks to be a more compact version of the Tab S11 Ultra with no real compromise. You get the same top-end screen tech, processing power and software – just in a more compact, transportable form factor. There are questions about performance compared to the competition that need to be answered, but Samsung could have a winner on its hands with its premium small-screen entry. That said, I’ll need to spend much more time testing and using the Tab S11 before I can deliver my final verdict, so head back very soon.

You will have noticed that there’s no Tab S11 Plus this year and that’s a shame because it provided a direct rival for Apple’s 13in iPad Pro tablet. With that gone, the iPad Pro’s closest rival, certainly among Samsung Tablets, is the rather large Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, which is considerably less wieldy. Still, given that it is slated to cost the same as the iPad Pro at £1,199 you could argue that you’re getting rather more tablet for your money. That’s especially true as Samsung continues to include its S Pen stylus in the box and, rather generously, is also throwing in a keyboard case for free for all customers who order one before the 28th of October. Either way, we’ll be testing both new tablets and reviewing them in full just as soon as we can get our hands on review samples so please be sure to check back in the next few weeks as we deliver our final verdict.

But on the other hand, it introduces lots of tiny but aggravating downgrades that add up. There's no more vibration feedback and we lose one front camera. The S Pen on deck has also lost Bluetooth capabilities. We also get the same design language, but after a couple of generations, this one is looking slightly stale. Overall, I don't feel you should upgrade if you're coming from a Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra or a Tab S9 Ultra.

I like the way the stylus feels on the screen and the keyboard is reasonably comfortable to type on. It’s also better value than the M4 iPad Pro. As always seems to be the case with Android productivity tablets, there are significant caveats. The dual-monitor support is great, but limited in the type of monitors you can connect to. And while the desktop environment works well, Android’s app ecosystem continues to let it down. For work purposes, I could get along with this tablet, but it would take a period of significant adaptation. However, if you don’t mind a bit of a learning curve, Samsung’s latest big-screen laptop-alike is its best yet. And if you can get the whole package for £999 with the help of a sneaky trade-in, then it’s an absolute bargain.

With that gone, the iPad Pro’s closest rival, certainly among Samsung Tablets, is the rather large Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, which is considerably less wieldy. Still, given that it is slated to cost the same as the iPad Pro at £1,199 you could argue that you’re getting rather more tablet for your money. That’s especially true as Samsung continues to include its S Pen stylus in the box and, rather generously, is also throwing in a keyboard case for free for all customers who order one before the 28th of October. Samsung: Le groupe Samsung est le plus grand conglomérat sud-coréen et a été fondé en 1938. Le groupe Samsung employait 489 000 personnes en 2014 et est l'une des plus grandes entreprises au monde en termes de chiffre d'affaires et de force de marché. Le nom Samsung signifie "Trois étoiles" en coréen et représente les trois fils du fondateur de l'entreprise. L'entreprise a été fondée en 1938 en tant qu'épicerie. Avec sa filiale Samsung Electronics, fondée en 1969, Samsung s'est lancé très tôt dans la production d'articles électrotechniques, en se concentrant sur l'électronique grand public et l'électroménager. Les autres branches dans lesquelles la grande entreprise est active comprennent la construction mécanique, l'automobile (Hyundai), l'assurance, le commerce de gros, l'immobilier et les loisirs. Samsung fabrique une large gamme de produits électroniques, notamment des smartphones, des téléviseurs, des appareils électroménagers et des semi-conducteurs. La gamme de smartphones Galaxy de la société est l'une des plus populaires au monde. Samsung est également un acteur majeur de l'industrie des semi-conducteurs, fabriquant des puces de mémoire et des processeurs pour de nombreux autres fabricants d'électronique.

Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

ARM Immortalis-G925 MC12: Il s'agit d'un GPU intégré rapide pour les processeurs ARM, doté de fonctions matérielles de ray tracing, de précision et de super résolution, ainsi que d'autres technologies modernes. Il est prévu qu'il soit presque aussi rapide que le Qualcomm Adreno 830.

Mediatek Dimensity 9000:

Dimensity 9400+: Un SoC octa-core haut de gamme pour les tablettes et les smartphones Android qui a été lancé le 10 avril 2025. En tant que tel, il serait doté d'un cœur Cortex-X925 superpuissant (jusqu'à 3,73 GHz), de trois cœurs Cortex-X4 (jusqu'à 3,3 GHz) et de quatre cœurs Cortex-A720 efficaces (jusqu'à 2,4 GHz), ainsi que du NPU 890 dédié et de l'iGPU Immortalis-G925 MC12. L'ancien Dimensity 9400 dispose des mêmes composants clés, leur vitesse d'horloge plus faible étant le facteur de différenciation.

11.00: Pour une tablette, cette diagonale d’écran est relativement imposante. A contrario, il s’agit d’un écran de petite taille pour les ultraportables. Certains convertibles embarquent aussi des moniteurs de cette dimension.

Un écran de plus grandes dimensions permettent des résolutions plus élevées, les détails comme la finesse des lettres seront meilleurs. Néanmoins, un écran de plus petite taille est synonyme de consommation énergétique moindre et souvent d’un appareil plus compact, plus léger et plus abordable.
