Comme son grand-frère le Galaxy A57, le Galaxy A37 subit malheureusement une hausse de prix à cause de la pénurie de composants qui oblige les fabricants à revoir leur stratégie. Toujours séduisant malgré tout, ce A37 sort du lot grâce à une batterie redoutable, qui a tenu bon durant presque 15h sur le test d’autonomie du Labo Fnac. Très performant, capable de vous offrir une navigation fluide en toute circonstance, le Samsung Galaxy A37 ne demande des efforts et des concessions qu’en jeu vidéo, où les réglages ne pourront être poussés au maximum. Moins bon que le A57 en photo, il fait toutefois le travail grâce à un capteur grand-angle principal performant. Son écran, enfin, est lumineux et très bien contrasté. On ne dirait pas non à une résolution un tout petit peu plus élevée, cependant, afin de se hisser à la hauteur de la concurrence de Xiaomi, notamment.

Certes, le design n’est pas révolutionné, mais la conception est sérieuse : nous avons même droit à un dos et une façade en verre Gorilla Glass Victus+, en plus de la certification IP68. Nous sommes dans la continuité de son prédécesseur, et cela se ressent aussi dans les performances, suffisantes sans nous impressionner. Les gamers compétitifs seront les premiers déçus ; les autres s’en satisferont. Côté photo, nous obtenons des résultats de bonne tenue, mais sans maestria. L’ultra grand-angle est très moyen, et nous regrettons l’absence d’un zoom optique, remplacé par un capteur macro peu utile au quotidien. Enfin, l’autonomie est honnête, sans atteindre des sommets. Nous avons donc un produit de milieu de gamme… très milieu de gamme même, sauf sur le plan logiciel, avec One UI 8.5 riche en fonctions IA. Toutefois, la hausse de 50 euros réduit son rapport qualité-prix sur un marché très concurrentiel. Malgré tout, pour ceux qui recherchent un smartphone « rassurant », à offrir à un proche peu technophile, il reste un choix idéal.

L’IA est encore nouveau et si on a pu voir l’apport et l’utilité de l’IA dans la vie de tous les jours, tout le monde est loin d’en être équipé. La plupart des jeux pas trop demandants actuels peuvent tourner de façon fluide. soyez prêts à endurer un rendu graphique assez moche à cause de la basse résolution et des détails au minimum. Par ailleurs ces cartes sont suffisantes pour un travail de bureau et le visionnage de vidéos (pas évident pour la vidéo HD).

Exynos 1480: SoC de milieu de gamme avec quatre ARM Cortex-A55 (max. 2 GHz) dans le cluster d'efficacité et quatre ARM Cortex-A78 (max. 2,8 GHz) dans le cluster de performance. Le NPU intégré serait quatre fois plus rapide que son prédécesseur et le modem 5G intégré serait lui aussi nettement plus rapide.
