Cependant, elle n'est que marginalement adaptée aux charges de travail semi-professionnelles occasionnelles. Les utilisateurs qui ont besoin de beaucoup plus de performances dans les tâches de productivité devraient envisager de passer à la RTX 5070. Performances des jeux

La Asus Prime GeForce RTX 5060 OC est capable de faire tourner la plupart des jeux actuels de manière fluide. Cependant, dans des titres particulièrement exigeants comme The Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion Remastered, il est souvent nécessaire de réduire les paramètres de détail pour maintenir des taux de rafraîchissement stables et jouables. Pour les jeux en 1080p, la RTX 5060 OC reste une option solide, bien que l'écart de performance avec la RTX 5060 Ti est légèrement plus important que ne le suggèrent les benchmarks synthétiques.

Les 8 Go de VRAM deviennent de plus en plus un goulot d'étranglement. Même à une résolution de 1080p, la RTX 5060 peut se débattre dans certains titres modernes. Des fonctionnalités telles que DLSS et Frame Generation augmentent les besoins en mémoire, ce qui rend une plus grande capacité VRAM plus souhaitable. Bien que la RTX 5060 bénéficie d'une bande passante mémoire nettement supérieure à celle de la RTX 4060le problème fondamental de la limitation de la VRAM persiste. Lorsque la mémoire vidéo disponible est insuffisante, les utilisateurs peuvent rencontrer des problèmes de démarrage, des erreurs de flux de textures ou un chargement incomplet des ressources ( Indiana Jones and the Great Circle et Space Marine 2 en sont des exemples). Cette limitation n'est pas propre à la RTX 5060 et affecte tous les GPU avec une VRAM limitée.

En mode veille, la fonction d'arrêt du ventilateur assure un fonctionnement totalement silencieux. En charge, le niveau sonore atteint 38 dB(A) lors des tests de stress, ce qui est un excellent résultat par rapport à des modèles similaires.
