EN→FRPortable workstations are an anachronism. By definition, true workstations aren't easy to carry around due to all the hardware and cooling inside them. Therefore, like so many of the best mobile workstations we've reviewed, the Dell Precision 7780 has one foot in the workstation camp and the other firmly planted in the mobile computing space. The problem is that because of the limitations of battery power and physical scale, this hardware can't be the best workstation or laptop, but it is a hybrid with notional nods at each side of that equation.

EN→FRThe Dell Precision 7780 is a high-performing and well-engineered laptop that has the power that modern-day creative professionals crave. Intel's i7 CPU and Nvidia's RTX 3500 GPU are the brains behind the machine and they won't let you down. I love the 17.3-inch display that has enough screen real-estate to handle applications such as Blender, Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve. I would have liked to have seen a better placed trackpad and 4K display resolution but these are minor issues on an otherwise impressive laptop.

NVIDIA NVIDIA RTX 3500 Ada Generation Laptop GPU:
Carte graphique professionnelle haut de gamme destinée aux ordinateurs portables, dotée de 5 120 cœurs CUDA et de 12 Go de VRAM GDDR6 ECC. Créée en 2023, cette carte graphique exploite le processus TSMC 5 nm (4N) et l'architecture Ada Lovelace de Nvidia ; du point de vue matériel, la RTX 3500 est une GeForce RTX 4070 (Desktop) réduite, pour autant que nous puissions en juger. Elle utilise donc la même puce AD104 et n'aura pas de mal à faire tourner des jeux triple A en QHD 1440p.
Ces cartes graphiques devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux récents (avec quelques exceptions) en haute résolution avec un bon niveau de détail.

i7-13850HX: CPU mobile basé sur la série Raptor Lake qui offre 20 cœurs (8 cœurs de performance, 12 cœurs d'efficacité). Similaire au Core i7-13700K de bureau, mais avec des vitesses d'horloge réduites. Prend en charge l'ensemble des fonctions de gestion vPro de l'entreprise.
