The form factor gives you a large screen, a large battery, and a generous keyboard and keyboard combination. The Intel Ultra series chips, along with generous RAM and storage options make this AI-ready and future-proof. However, even the highest-spec variant gets only the RTX4060, which is a letdown if you want a capable daily driver that can easily handle triple-A titles. That said, the Dell XPS 16 9640 isn’t for hardcore gamers anyway, so if you have 3.5 lakh rupees, and want a clean, minimal, powerful laptop, the XPS 16 sits right in the sweet spot.

EN→FROverall, the Dell XPS 16 9640 is one of the most impressive 16-inch machines that we have tested up to date. The device looks and feels special because of the well-crafted strong aluminum chassis with a modern and sleek design. The backlit keyboard with its big keycaps is comfortable for typing and the touchpad is also accurate. The machine also impresses with good audio quality, modern port selection, and Wi-Fi 7 support. The Core Ultra 7 155H is well-cooled thanks to the big thermal system that almost occupies half of the internal side of the laptop. The CPU can sustain a 60W power limit plus a 3.0Ghz P-core clock even in long periods of 100% stress – nice! The two fans aren’t noisy at all and the keyboard isn’t too hot to the touch even during gaming. Speaking of which, this isn’t a typical gaming device but you can use it for playing on your favorite titles.

Carte graphique haut de gamme pour ordinateurs portables basée sur l'architecture Ada Lovelace. Offre 8 GB GDDR6 (128 Bit) et est configurable avec un TGP de 35 - 115W (+ Dynamic Boost).
Ces cartes graphiques de milieu de gamme peuvent faire tourner tout les jeux récents de façon fluide. Les jeux gourmands ne peuvent être joués qu'avec les détails réglés sur moyen.

Ultra 7 155H: Une puce Meteor Lake haut de gamme qui a fait ses débuts en décembre 2023. Ce processeur Core Ultra de 1ère génération est venu remplacer les puces Core de 13ème génération ; il dispose de 16 cœurs (6 + 8 + 2) et de 22 threads. Ses cœurs Performance, au nombre de 6, tournent jusqu'à 4,8 GHz tandis que ses cœurs Efficient, au nombre de 10 (8 cœurs principaux plus 2 supplémentaires trouvés dans l'îlot basse consommation) tournent jusqu'à 3,8 GHz. Le NPU AI Boost intégré offre deux moteurs Gen 3 pour l'accélération matérielle des charges de travail d'IA. La consommation d'énergie "minimale assurée" de ce processeur pour ordinateur portable est de 28 W, tandis que sa consommation d'énergie Turbo est censée rester inférieure à 115 W.
