Le téléphone propose un design qui est extrêmement séduisant avec une excellente prise en main, un très bon équilibre et des profils très fins. L'intégration des capteurs photo est réalisée d'une très belle manière. Nous avons été également extrêmement impressionnés par la solidité de son écran, sans oublier ses qualités intrinsèques offrant une excellente fluidité et une bonne luminosité. L'interface est très agréable au quotidien et nous avons également apprécié les performances offertes par la configuration technique qui permet de profiter d'une expérience tout à fait satisfaisante au quotidien. Pour nous, à ce prix, les photos sont plutôt convaincantes même s'il y a peut-être mieux sur le marché. On peut regretter l'absence de certification de totale étanchéité offerte par la concurrence qui offre toutefois une autonomie moindre. Pour nous, ce smartphone est très solide, dans tous les sens du terme et peut être mis en toutes les mains avec une prestation convaincante.

Pour nous, à ce prix, les photos sont plutôt convaincantes même s'il y a peut-être mieux sur le marché. On peut regretter l'absence de certification de totale étanchéité offerte par la concurrence qui offre toutefois une autonomie moindre. Pour nous, ce smartphone est très solide, dans tous les sens du terme et peut être mis en toutes les mains avec une prestation convaincante.

Pour 349 €, le Honor Magic6 Lite est un appareil qui offre un ensemble plutôt cohérent avec un point fort : son écran magnifique et prétendument incassable. Son design est aussi très réussi avec un châssis svelte et léger. L’autonomie ? Là aussi le Magic6 Lite se démarque avec de belles performances de ce côté. Alors qu’est-ce qui cloche dans ce smartphone ? Pas grand-chose en fait. Certes, les photos ne sont pas exemptent de tout reproche, mais à ce prix, c’est un peu normal. Notons aussi que ce n’est pas un appareil à l’aise avec le 3D, mais encore une fois, ce n’est pas vraiment le point fort de ses concurrents. Au final, le Honor Magic6 Lite est un appareil diablement joli, avec un écran 5 étoiles pour moins de 350 € et ça, c’est vraiment sympa… Les amoureux de la photo lui préféreront le Pixel 7a.

Doté d'un processeur performant pour tous les usages, il est surtout présenté dans un design fort élégant, à l'apparence plus premium qu'il ne l'est réellement. Le nouveau Honor tire aussi son épingle du jeu en proposant ici un écran réputé incassable, certifié par un organisme indépendant. C'est une réalité : on peut enfoncer des clous avec l'écran de ce smartphone. Une durabilité à saluer… mais hélas ternie par le piètre suivi logiciel de Honor (le Magic 6 Lite n'ira que jusqu'à Android 15). L'autre ombre au tableau réside dans ce capteur ultra grand-angle tout bonnement honteux. Aucune des photos prises avec n'est exploitable. Même sur un milieu de gamme, on ne pensait pas voir ça en 2024. Heureusement, le module principal est, quant à lui, plutôt volontaire et délivre des résultats agréables.

Pas seulement d'ailleurs sur sa qualité d'affichage, franchement au-dessus du lot pour ce tarif, mais aussi par la manière dont la marque a choisi de le protéger et de le rendre très difficile à casser. De quoi profiter encore davantage de son design fin et agréable avec ses bords incurvés. Un design qui peut donc se passer du port d'une coque (en théorie). L'autre grande prouesse de ce smartphone, c'est son autonomie, là encore au-dessus de la mêlée pour sa catégorie de prix. Et y parvenir sur un smartphone qui ne ressemble pas à une brique, c'est une belle prouesse qu'il faut saluer. Le Honor Magic 6 Lite se montre plus conservateur sur d'autres points : sa puce n'est pas très à l'aise pour jouer en 3D, sachez-le.

Tous les défauts que nous avions donnés au Magic 5 Lite l'année dernière se retrouvent sur le Magic 6 Lite. Toutes les qualités aussi. Ce qui montre à quel point Honor n'a fait qu'une mise à jour du modèle Lite de sa gamme Magic. Le design est toujours réussi, avec des formes harmonieuses, un smartphone qu'on a envie de sortir. Seule sortie de piste cette année : le coloris orange, sur lequel je me questionne toujours. Manque à l'appel une vraie certification IP qu'on attend pour un Magic 7 Lite. L'écran aussi est très joli : Amoled, 120 Hz, etc. le tout avec une bonne luminosité adaptative. Enfin, le Honor Magic 6 Lite a pour lui une autonomie confortable d'une journée et demie ainsi qu'une charge rapide satisfaisante. Mais là où ça se gâte, c'est globalement sur le reste. Les performances sont toujours en retrait par rapport à la concurrence. La partie logicielle n'est pas convaincante avec seulement deux mises à jour pour une surcouche moins intéressante que d'autres.

It may be large, but it’s not heavy at all, and HONOR did an outstanding job with the shape of the device. There are no sharp edges or anything of the sort, not even close to it. On top of that, the HONOR Magic6 Lite has a great display. This is one of the best displays in this price range, without a doubt. The performance is also really good, and the battery life is great. Charging could be faster, but we do have to keep in mind what’s the price tag here. This phone’s weakest point is in the camera department.

I still don’t see the point in adding a macro camera, Honor’s software update commitments are basic, and gaming still isn’t a strong point, even among affordable phones. And are curved edge screens really still the status symbol they once were, now Google and Samsung have ditched them from their flagships? That said, Honor has managed to avoid cost of living increases better than many rivals. The Magic 6 Lite is considerably cheaper than a Google Pixel 7a. That alone could still make it a great choice for anyone on a modest budget.

The HONOR Magic6 Pro brings about some notable improvements over its already impressive predecessor, and there really isn’t much to complain about. If you still enjoy having curved displays, this will inevitably be at the top of the list given that some its competitors are moving towards a flat one, and its retail price of RM4,499 does give it a bit more edge compared to its competition. Given how durable it is, this is one of the few flagship phones you can use naked without issues, but it’s still nice of HONOR to provide a free protective case for good measure.

This near 7-inch phone's camera tech dominates that back end, and it's a capable shooter in any conditions. Even night photography isn't a hassle for the Honor Magic 6 Pro. You've got a 180MP zoom lens, which means decent telephoto shots in lower light, plus 4k video recording. Gamers will also be happy with the performance and battery life here. The Honor Magic 6 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, so even Genshin Impact and the most demanding games can play with a respectable frame rate. The Honor Magic 6 Pro is a viable alternative to Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra, offering comparable – if not better – camera performance than Samsung’s flagship, along with a gorgeous curved design, high-end screen tech with an industry-leading 5000nits peak brightness, excellent performance from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and all-day battery life – and all at a cheaper price point than Samsung’s top-end alternative. It’s not perfect, especially in the software department where I feel that Honor’s MagicOS 8 could do with a few QOL tweaks and less of a focus on being an iOS dupe. It also lacks long-term support, offering 4 OS upgrades and five years of security patches, while the Pixel 8 and Galaxy S24 offer an extended seven years of updates, and its MagicPortal AI tech is a little lacklustre at launch. However, I feel that the vast majority of users could learn to live with Honor’s software quirks when there’s such great hardware on offer.

High-end Honor handsets can easily get overlooked in a crowd of more famed top-tier offerings. But just because their Magic lineup may not be the one you think of first, it doesn't mean you shouldn't seriously consider the Magic6 Pro. It's not perfect, that's for sure. For its cameraphone aspirations, the Honor's video quality is a bit… unreliable. Certain specific circumstances can trip its camera in stills too, but those aren't that bothersome. Similarly, a few minor software peculiarities had us irked along the way. But that's really the magnitude of the 'problems' we had with the Magic6 Pro. These are easily outweighed by the phone's strong points though. The Magic6 PRo's display is truly great, even for the class. The battery life is towards the top of the chart, charging is quicker than at least the Samsung.

A phone like the HONOR Magic 6 Pro is up against some serious competition. The previously mentioned Galaxy S24 Ultra ($1419.99 at Amazon) is a major contender, as is the Pixel 8 Pro ($999 at Amazon). Thankfully, in Europe, the Magic 6 Pro undercuts the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s list price by quite a bit. At €1,299 (~$1,408), it is now a decent alternative to the Ultra. However, that’s still more than the Pixel 8 Pro, which lands at €1,099 (~$1,191). Even so, the periscope zoom on this thing is outrageous, so if that’s a big part of your smartphone needs, this might be worth grabbing for that alone. What do you think? With a DXOMARK Audio score of 155, the Honor Magic6 Pro is among the very best devices tested to date under our Audio protocol, delivering strong results across all playback and recording sub-tests. In playback our experts particularly liked the Magic6 Pro’s performance for timbre, spatial and volume. Attacks were snappy and the sound quite punchy overall. A slight boost in the low end brought more depth, although it could also lead to some resonances or light distortion, which could also deteriorate bass precision. Playback quality was especially good when playing games, but results were also excellent for watching movies and music consumption. In recording tests, the audio zoom feature is excellent and very effective, while wind noise was very well under control.

As far as I’m concerned, the Honor Magic 6 Pro deserves a recommendation based on the battery life alone. As well as being the second-best phone battery life we’ve ever recorded, it offers competitive performance, a gorgeous display, robust cameras and useful features that other flagships don’t, including the high-frequency PWM dimming, TOF 3D sensor and IR blaster. Launching with a sub-£1,000 256GB variant would have broadened the Magic 6 Pro’s appeal, but for what it is, there are still very few drawbacks. If you want class-leading performance and the best zoom shots around, you’ll need to fork out for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Otherwise, consider saving a couple of hundred quid and picking up Honor’s excellent and feature-rich Magic 6 Pro.

The Honor Magic 6 Pro is a viable alternative to Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra, offering comparable – if not better – camera performance than Samsung’s flagship, along with a gorgeous curved design, high-end screen tech with an industry-leading 5000nits peak brightness, excellent performance from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and all-day battery life – and all at a cheaper price point than Samsung’s top-end alternative. It’s not perfect, especially in the software department where I feel that Honor’s MagicOS 8 could do with a few QOL tweaks and less of a focus on being an iOS dupe. It also lacks long-term support, offering 4 OS upgrades and five years of security patches, while the Pixel 8 and Galaxy S24 offer an extended seven years of updates, and its MagicPortal AI tech is a little lacklustre at launch. However, I feel that the vast majority of users could learn to live with Honor’s software quirks when there’s such great hardware on offer.

High-end Honor handsets can easily get overlooked in a crowd of more famed top-tier offerings. But just because their Magic lineup may not be the one you think of first, it doesn't mean you shouldn't seriously consider the Magic6 Pro. It's not perfect, that's for sure. For its cameraphone aspirations, the Honor's video quality is a bit… unreliable. Certain specific circumstances can trip its camera in stills too, but those aren't that bothersome. Similarly, a few minor software peculiarities had us irked along the way. But that's really the magnitude of the 'problems' we had with the Magic6 Pro. These are easily outweighed by the phone's strong points though. The Magic6 PRo's display is truly great, even for the class. The battery life is towards the top of the chart, charging is quicker than at least the Samsung.

As far as I’m concerned, the Honor Magic 6 Pro deserves a recommendation based on the battery life alone. As well as being the second-best phone battery life we’ve ever recorded, it offers competitive performance, a gorgeous display, robust cameras and useful features that other flagships don’t, including the high-frequency PWM dimming, TOF 3D sensor and IR blaster. Launching with a sub-£1,000 256GB variant would have broadened the Magic 6 Pro’s appeal, but for what it is, there are still very few drawbacks. If you want class-leading performance and the best zoom shots around, you’ll need to fork out for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Otherwise, consider saving a couple of hundred quid and picking up Honor’s excellent and feature-rich Magic 6 Pro.

There’s no official IP rating on the smartphone, but it does have some sort of display protection but it’s not as good as Gorilla Glass protection in Samsung flagship smartphones or the Ceramic Shield protection in iPhones. Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

SD 8 Gen 3: SoC haut de gamme pour smartphones présenté fin 2022 avec un noyau principal rapide basé sur une architecture ARM Cortex-X3 cadencée à 3,2 GHz. Deux autres cœurs de performance sont basés sur l'A715 et ne prennent en charge que les applications 64 bits. Les deux autres cœurs A710 prennent également en charge les applications 32 bits, tout comme les cœurs Cortex-A510 à économie d'énergie.
