L'ancien Inspiron 16 7640 2-en-1 peut être une meilleure affaire si les performances du processeur sont primordiales. Dans le cas contraire, le Dell 16 Plus 2-en-1 plus récent est la machine la plus efficace.

Le Dell 16 Plus 2-in-1 est désormais disponible à l'achat pour remplacer l'Inspiron 16 7640 2-in-1 de l'année dernière. Bien qu'il y ait une poignée de changements, le plus important est sans doute le passage d'un processeur Core Ultra-H à un Core Ultra-V, ce qui a un impact sur les performances globales.

En termes de performances brutes, le Core Ultra 7 155H de l'Inspiron de l'année dernière peut être plus de 1,5 fois plus rapide que le Core Ultra 7 258V du Dell 16 Plus 2-in-1 plus récent lorsqu'il s'agit de charges multithread. L'écart peut être très important pour les utilisateurs intensifs qui peuvent compter sur le processeur le plus rapide.

En termes de performances brutes du GPU, c'est l'inverse qui est vrai, puisque l Arc 140V peut être 1,3x à 1,5x plus rapide que l Arc 8 dans les jeux. Non seulement il est plus rapide, mais il est également beaucoup plus économe en énergie, ce qui permet d'améliorer les performances par watt, de réduire la température du cœur et d'atténuer le bruit des ventilateurs. Les utilisateurs qui peuvent bénéficier d'un GPU plus rapide peuvent donc préférer le nouveau Dell 16 Plus 2-en-1 à l'ancien Inspiron 16 7640 2-en-1.
