EN→FRLenovo's ThinkPad P16 is currently our favorite kaiju-class mobile workstation, and the ThinkPad P1 Gen 6 is a superb entry in the slightly tamer, much-more-portable segment. It doesn't quite steal the Dell Precision 5680's Editors' Choice award because of the latter's longer battery life and spectacularly powerful Nvidia RTX 5000 Ada professional GPU (a P1 option; our test unit was just differently equipped), but it's a winning laptop for the toughest work tasks.

EN→FRTry as I might, I had a hard time justifying the ThinkPad P1 Gen 6’s price. Yes, it’s fast, but it’s not faster (or, in some cases, as fast) as mainstream machines costing thousands of dollars less. It’s well-built, but so are all ThinkPads, including the less costly ThinkPad X1 Extreme that’s likely as fast in its latest generation. There’s a three-year warranty, which is better than the one-year standard with mainstream laptops, but most offer upgrades that match what’s available with the ThinkPad P1 Gen 6. Everything considered, this portable workstation is hard to recommend.

NVIDIA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU:
Carte graphique haut de gamme pour ordinateurs portables basée sur l'architecture Ada Lovelace. Offre 12 GB GDDR6 (192 Bit) et est configurable avec un TGP de 60 - 150W (+ Dynamic Boost).
Ces cartes graphiques devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux récents (avec quelques exceptions) en haute résolution avec un bon niveau de détail.

i7-13800H: Un processeur mobile basé sur Alder-Lake avec 6 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs d'efficacité. Les cœurs de performance offrent un hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 20 threads. L'horloge du processeur tourne à 5,4 GHz. Par rapport à l'i9-13900HK, aucun overclocking facile n'est pris en charge, mais un ensemble complet de fonctions de gestion vPro.
