Plus qu'une bonne affaire, le OnePlus Nord 3 est l'une des propositions les plus solides sur le milieu de gamme en cette rentrée/fin d'année. Le constructeur démontre, une fois de plus, que la série Nord trouve sa place sur le marché. OnePlus répond aux attentes en offrant un côté premium à son smartphone. Le design, soigné et agréable, accompagne un excellent écran AMOLED et une puce Dimensity 9000 toujours aussi efficace. L'appareil s'approche clairement d'un haut de gamme sur le plan des performances, de quoi faire briller la surcouche Oxygen OS 13 du constructeur. On apprécie aussi le volet photo qui propose un duo de capteurs convaincants, de jour comme de nuit. Seule la caméra macro se révèle plutôt médiocre et peu intéressante (mais elle permet de dire que le Nord 3 dispose d'un triple capteur photo...). Enfin, l'autonomie est excellente et bénéficie d'une technologie de charge très rapide. Finalement, on peut surtout regretter que OnePlus ait décidé de lancer ce smartphone en toute discrétion.

Le Nord 3 se classe parmi les smartphones de milieu de gamme très recommandables. OnePlus signe un modèle qui n'est certes pas sans défaut — sa résistance à l'eau n'est que partielle, ses performances photo sont disparates selon les modules, il n'est pas aussi "gaming" que la marque le prétend —, mais dont la prestation homogène est appréciable. Il propose un bel écran 120 Hz, moyennant l'application du mode d'affichage adapté, se montre suffisamment puissant pour la plupart des usages, sa charge est rapide, son autonomie correcte, et son bloc photo principal est satisfaisant. Il n'est pas le seul à faire aussi bien à son niveau de prix, mais il ne manque pas de mérite.

To sum up, the smartphone has a very attractive appearance, I especially like the narrow frame around the screen. I also really like the notification switch and the infrared remote. I can't quite convince myself of the arrangement of the buttons on both sides of the case, but the case itself looks nice. Unfortunately, the phone needs to be cleaned often because it collects fingerprints. I would also mention the lack of waterproofness and inductive charging as a disadvantage, but the advantages include fast charging and the included charger. As for the screen, it could be a little brighter on sunny days, but this is a rather subjective opinion. Demanding gamers may complain that the phone heats up a bit when playing for a long time and reduces performance, but on the other hand, it has plenty of power. Cameras are also quite good in my opinion. The interface is friendly and intuitive, without excessive frills. To sum up, it's a really strong smartphone that deserves your attention.

I really like its design, the multimedia experience is superb, and you get a flagship-like user experience with fast performance, nice haptics, and up to Android 16 OS update! So overall, OnePlus Nord 3 is somewhere at the top of my ranking in the best midrange phones for 2023!

OxygenOS 13 is as stable as a rock and it’s hard to dislike the way the skin is put together. Add to that 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates. The pricing is a bit of a pickle, though. On one hand, you have the likes of the Poco F5 and Moto Edge 40, which offer almost but not quite the same experience and performance for a few bucks less (Rs 30,000). And on the other, you have an offering from the same maker – the OnePlus 11R – a near-flagship beast with an arguably catchier design selling for just Rs 5,000 more. Nevertheless, the OnePlus Nord 3 is still a great choice for those who want a balanced phone that does everything well without breaking the bank.

To conclude, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G is a complete mid-ranger. The performance is very good, the display is stunning, and surprisingly the camera is right up there with the competition. While the smartphone has a very nice in-hand feel, the way it looks is pretty much similar to the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G and I am not a big fan of the two flash. Yes, the performance is not the best in this segment, but it will never leave you asking for more with its 16GB RAM. I’m not a fan of the design, especially the two LED flash modules (or whatever the second circle is for), but there are plenty of people who have liked this design. Further, you get glass back and IP rating, so that’s great. The battery sometimes drains while doing specific tasks like GPS or using the camera, but the super fast 80W charging makes up for it.

I really do hope they price this phone reasonably because it will show all the other smartphone manufacturers how to make a great phone. You know what, let’s do wish. I wish this phone is priced at RM1,999 even though I know it is quite impossible because of that 16GB RAM. I do think that the 16GB RAM is just unnecessary, honestly. 8GB is plentiful and 12GB is already excessive.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is easy to like - it has an impressive high-resolution display with even more impressively thin bezels and cutout. The flagship-grade hardware is a real treat in this price range, and so is the flagship battery life and charging. And we cannot but appreciate the IP54-rated body, a thoughtful step that gives an extra peace of mind. The camera has been improved since the Nord 2, there is no doubt. The main camera saves great photos and videos, day and night, and so does the ultrawide shooter. Over-processed a bit, sure, but still better than what Nord 2 had to offer. The selfie camera is a bit disappointing, and the macro cam turned out pretty poor. But not having electronic stabilization for the 4K videos is a real crime. That, and the Quad-Bayer selfie sensor. And, being a BBK-made phone, the OnePlus Nord 3 does not offer high frame rate gaming.

ARM Mali-G710 MP10:

L'ARM Mali-G710MC10 est une carte graphique intégrée haut de gamme pour les smartphones avec 10 des 16 cœurs possibles. Elle est basée sur la troisième génération de l'architecture Valhall d'ARM, qui offre des performances et une efficacité énergétique supérieures de 20 % à celles de la génération précédente. Dans le Dimensity 9000, le G710 est produit dans le processus moderne 4nm.

Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

Dimensity 9000:

Le Dimensity 9000 est un SoC haut de gamme avec un modem 5G intégré. Il comprend un cœur rapide Cortex-X2 cadencé à 3 GHz, trois autres cœurs A710 cadencés à 2,85 GHz et quatre cœurs à faible consommation (Cortex-A510) cadencés à 1,8 GHz.
