OnePlus 15 Review: A Battery Champion Held Back By One Thing
Source: BGR Anglais EN→FR
At the start of this review, I noted that the OnePlus 15 is the best phone for those who don't care about photography. Honestly, however, it's a little more nuanced than that. You could care about photography, but not enough to really care about wanting the best smartphone camera if it means sacrificing the best smartphone battery. That's kind of the line you'll have to draw for yourself. The OnePlus 15 is an excellent phone. It's just not the best at every single thing. If battery life is a priority, you like OnePlus's software implementation, and you don't care as much about mobile photography as those other things, then the OnePlus 15 is probably the best phone for you.

80% OnePlus 15 review: A blazing-fast smartphone with unmatched performance
Source: The Indian Express Anglais EN→FR
The OnePlus 15 is built around the idea of sustained power, fast responsiveness, extended battery life, deep focus on gaming, and durability. For anyone looking to buy an Android device in 2025, the OnePlus 15 checks numerous boxes linked to battery capacity, advanced AI features, durability, etc. If these are your priorities, then the answer is a resounding yes. The OnePlus 15 starts at Rs 72,999 and is offered in 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB storage options. For a better perspective, at present, the Rs 65,000-Rs 75,000 range is a hyper-competitive zone, with several strong alternatives from the likes of Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, etc. Regardless, the OnePlus 15 promises extremely strong hardware—a huge battery, a very high refresh rate panel, and dedicated chips (for touch and Wi-Fi, etc.), which gives it an edge in raw performance.

900% The OnePlus 15's battery life hooked me, but it's not what kept me
Source: How to Geek Anglais EN→FR
I think the OnePlus 15 is a really good phone, charging issues aside. The OnePlus 15 is the phone I would recommend to people who don’t want to buy a Pixel. It’s a great all-around device, has incredible battery life, and a solid set of cameras. What’s not to like? The problem comes down to how you can get the phone. At the time of publication, the OnePlus 15 simply isn’t available for purchase in the USA yet. When it does become available, you’ll likely only be able to buy it direct from OnePlus and not many other places. Overall, I think that the OnePlus 15 is absolutely worth your hard-earned dollars if you’re in the market for a premium Android smartphone. What it does well, it does well. What it struggles a bit with can either be lived with or fixed by OnePlus in future updates. So, yes, I think you should buy the OnePlus 15. I don’t think you’ll regret it.

90% OnePlus 15 review: Almost perfect, except for one thing
Source: Gadgetbyte Nepal Anglais EN→FR
Apart from a few shortcomings in the camera department, the OnePlus 15 is easily the best value flagship right now if you want the ultimate Android experience. It may not have the best cameras, but it excels in every other area — display, battery, performance, and software. Gamers will especially love the OP Gaming Core with hyper-rendering, dedicated display, and Wi-Fi chips for smoother play. OnePlus clearly decided to compromise slightly on the camera to keep the price competitive. But for most users who prioritize speed, endurance, and experience over photography, the OnePlus 15 delivers exactly what it promises. This is OnePlus’s proven formula at work — and with the 15, that winning strategy continues strong.

OnePlus 15 Review Philippines: We didn’t expect this
Source: Unbox Anglais EN→FR
The OnePlus 15 isn’t a normal flagship. It’s a gaming phone masquerading as a flagship, like the Find X9 or even the Samsung Galaxy S25, in the hopes you’d fall in love with the performance, screen, and battery life and forget that it had forgettable cameras. Which is just fine for a lot of people, since most people would rather ditch expensive optics to get something a few thousand Pesos cheaper than what’s available in the market.

The OnePlus 15 color variants are made from different materials! thanks to Ridge for making the products I use every day and for sponsoring this video. The New OnePlus 15 comes in 3 colors. Two of the Colors have Glass backs, and the 3rd color, the OnePlus 15 Sandstorm - is plastic. Plastic is not bad of course! I prefer plastic since it does not shatter like glass. Its just good to know what your phone is made of.

OnePlus 15 review: Skips Pro and Ultra labels, yet carries traits of both
Source: Business Standard Anglais EN→FR
Priced at Rs 72,999 onwards, the OnePlus 15 comes across as a well-rounded premium flagship smartphone. It is neither a Pro or Ultra, yet has all the traits of both. The new flat design feels solid in hand, the display is excellent, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 delivers the kind of speed you’d normally associate with a laptop. Battery life is the real highlight, comfortably lasting two days, and the charging speeds continue to outpace most competitors. OxygenOS 16 also feels more polished, with additions like AI Plus Mind and deeper Gemini integration, though a few features still need refinement. The only clear shortcoming is the camera system: it can capture good photos, particularly in bright conditions, but consistency remains an area for improvement. If your priorities are performance, battery life, and everyday ease of use rather than pushing for the very best camera, the OnePlus 15 stands out as a strong and reliable choice.

OnePlus 15 review: The end of range anxiety
Source: Ars Technica Anglais EN→FR
The OnePlus 15 is not the massive leap you might expect from skipping a number. The formula is largely unchanged from its last few devices—it’s blazing fast and well-built, but everything else is something of an afterthought. You probably won’t be over the moon for the OnePlus 15, but it’s a good, pragmatic choice. It runs for days on a charge, you barely have to touch it with a power cable to get a full day’s use, and it manages that incredible battery life while being fast as hell. Honestly, it’s a little too fast in benchmarks, with the frame reaching borderline dangerous temperatures. The phone might get a bit warm in games, but it will maintain frame rates better than anything else on the market, up to 165 fps in titles that support its ultra-fast screen. However, the software can be frustrating at times, with inconsistent interfaces and unnecessarily arduous usage flows.

OnePlus 15 Review: Camera Conundrum
Source: Petapixel Anglais EN→FR
Not exclusively for the camera. If you prioritize battery life, charging speed, raw power, and custom flexibility, the OnePlus 15 won’t disappoint. The camera just doesn’t do enough to build on the successes of the previous model, and unless or until software updates patch things up, it’s hard to recommend it over others.

The OnePlus 15’s best feature isn’t gaming performance, it’s something far more practical
Source: 91mobiles Anglais EN→FR
Of course, the OnePlus 15 isn’t perfect. It nails performance and battery life, but falls short of matching the top-tier camera flagships. So the choice becomes a matter of priorities: do you value all-day endurance and gaming fluidity, or cutting-edge photography? For anyone who constantly lives on the battery percentage screen, the OnePlus 15 is the most convincing battery-first flagship right now.

70% Oneplus 15 review: Fast and Future-Ready
Source: The Times of India Anglais EN→FR
OnePlus 15 feels like a steady, confident upgrade rather than a disruptive one. It delivers excellent everyday performance, a polished software experience with growing AI features, and a refined design that finally moves the series toward a flatter, more modern look. The display is bright and smooth, even if the resolution shift may divide long-time users, and the camera system is reliable enough for daily shooting without aiming to be the standout feature of the phone. At a starting price of Rs 72,999, the OnePlus 15 positions itself as a premium flagship built around speed, stability and long-term usability. It may not check every box for power users, but for most buyers looking for a dependable high-end Android phone, the OnePlus 15 brings enough strengths to remain a compelling option in the segment.

100% OnePlus 15 review: The big battery boss is simply brilliant
Source: T3 Anglais EN→FR
The OnePlus 15 is a great surprise: it's the best-looking (and best-feeling) Android phone I've handled in 2025; and with battery life that's so far ahead of most competitors, it's simply a stellar handset. It's keenly priced in context to other flagships, and while that results in a camera setup that's the weaker link here – and could have some bearing on its appeal – it's still a fair setup for the money. Where available, the Oppo Find X9's enhanced camera offering is hard to ignore, mind. OnePlus is often seen as the underdog. But in the OnePlus 15 it proves why it's shoulder to shoulder with the established players – offering superb performance, better battery life, and a finish that's like no other right now. It's simply great.

OnePlus 15 Review: Hard To Kill
Source: MrMobile Anglais
Depending on your perspective, the OnePlus 15 is either a gaming phone disguised as a conventional Android, or an Android disguised as an iPhone. Personally, neither one appeals to me – nor does OnePlus recycling an existing design for its latest global flagship. But there are good reasons OnePlus made this phone the way it did – and good reasons to buy it. It turns out there are big benefits to building an "OP" that’s also OP."

OnePlus 15 Review: The Best Battery Performance of All Time?
Source: Nextpit EN Anglais EN→FR
In the test, the OnePlus 15 presents itself as an elegant upper-class smartphone with top performance, an excellent display, and a truly first-class battery life. The camera is also impressive during the day, but OnePlus needs to improve its night photography. The OnePlus 15 starts at $899 – a fair price for the features it offers. The price for the memory upgrade is also worth mentioning. The basic version comes with 256 gigabytes of storage space, while the upgrade to 512 gigabytes costs just $100 more. Most other manufacturers charge far more for their memory upgrades. Unfortunately, the phone is not yet available in the US due to the government shutdown delaying certification by the FCC.

The OnePlus 15 is the best phone the company has ever produced. I don’t think that’s up for debate. The slim, metal design brings it truly into the premium smartphone category. Combining that fit and finish with the Triple Core engine, 7300mAh battery, and 165hz screen, and you have a phone that should be capable of laptop level performance for most people. The only elephant in the room is the new design language and many hours of engineering that were focused on obvious copying of Apple. And interconnectivity with them as well. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means. There’s a ton of features that make this the best Android phone of 2025 on paper, but many will take these interesting choices made by the OnePlus team to heart.

90% OnePlus 15 Ultimate Review: Cooler, Faster, Unstoppable

Despite the camera downgrades, I do think the OnePlus 15 is worth buying. At the time of writing this, it starts at $899 which is a solid $400 lower than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This is probably the best $899 smartphone you can buy right now. But even if you don’t use the camera a ton, I’d say if you’re a gamer that wants to do more gaming on your Android smartphone, but don’t want a “gaming phone”, then the OnePlus 15 is a great option. Then there’s the battery life. I honestly can’t wait to take this to CES in January and see how well it stands up to that extreme battery usage. But in daily usage, it’ll last me a couple of days on a single charge.

85% OnePlus 15 Review: Performance That Never Misses a Beat
Source: Exhibit.tech Anglais EN→FR
The OnePlus 15 doesn’t reinvent the wheel — it perfects the drive. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, an enormous 7300mAh battery, and a refined design that feels delightfully premium, the OnePlus 15 continues the brand’s tradition of balanced excellence. The camera setup is more dependable than dazzling, the performance is class-leading, and battery life is borderline insane. Where it falters is in the small things, the missing Hasselblad partnership, the outdated charging cable, and a few software quirks. But those are nitpicks in what is otherwise one of the most cohesive flagship experiences of the year.

The OnePlus 15 feels like a well-rounded flagship that delivers on most fronts. It looks elegant, performs well, and lasts impressively long on a single charge. The vibrant display is a joy to use, gaming performance is rock-solid for the most part, and the fast 120W charging makes battery anxiety a thing of the past. The camera system also performs decently in daylight. And if you can live without the Alert Slider and don’t mind minor heat build-up during heavy use, the OnePlus 15 stands out as a reliable flagship that gets most of the basics right. It may not break new ground, but it refines most aspects that matter, making it one of the most balanced premium smartphones in India you can buy today.

OnePlus 15 Review | Big Step Backwards?
Source: Tech Spurt Anglais
Now, the Find X9 Pro is still my favourite of this pair, even if they’re identical in many ways. The OxygenOS experience is almost identical to ColorOS, while a lot of the same hardware is matching. However, the OnePlus 15 is more of a dedicated gaming smartphone. From the mega-RAM to the Snapdragon 8 Elite and 165Hz display, it’s a cracker for gamers, running titles like Call of Duty at a native 165 FPS. Where it falls down is the camera arrangement. That Hasselblad partnership has ended, so the OnePlus 15 sports in-house image processing, as well as lesser camera sensors vs the Find X9 Pro. So if you value the photography and videography performance, I’d say go for the OPPO.

The OnePlus 15 is back to its old form, offering specs that blow the competition out the water -- at least on the spec sheet: a 7300 mAh battery, 165Hz OLED display, three silicon including the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 from Qualcomm. There's a lot to like in this sleek and premium handset that retails starting at US$900.

It's about time for the next-generation OnePlus phones, and the 15 is right on time. The new handset gets a complete design overhaul, upgraded hardware (in most cases) and keeps the familiar formula to undercut the mass flagship phones without making too many compromises along the way.

There seemed to be some concern amongst the OnePlus die-hards in the run-up to launch about the smaller camera sensors and haptic motor, a loss of identity within OxygenOS, and inferior hardware compared to sister brand Oppo’s Find X9 Pro, but the reality is a broadly predictable but welcome new entry to the flagship phone space. International OnePlus 13 owners might feel a little jilted with the sub-year release turnaround, but while the data highlights the OnePlus 15’s advantages over its predecessor, it’s not a clean sweep (think better bass from the loudspeakers, retention of the physical alert slider, a larger display etc.).If it’s power you want, this is the phone for you.

90% OnePlus 15 review: The flagship with 2-day battery life changes everything
Source: Tom's Guide Anglais EN→FR
In years past, OnePlus’s flagship has always finished behind Apple, Samsung, and Google — but that changes in a big way with the OnePlus 15. It’s not just an iterative update, it’s a substantial one that’s more satisfying than anything else it’s released. One thing’s for sure: its new battery tech proves that phones can last longer than just a single day. Considering how we’ve all become complacent with one-day battery life, it’s unbelievable that I can get more than two days out of a phone again, which is something I haven’t seen since the old flip phone days of the early 2000s. But of course, it all falls back on that “Never Settle” philosophy — and OnePlus certainly continues that here. Not only does it undercut its rivals on price, which I hope it remains at $899, but it’s backed with a new software experience complete with AI features that boost the experience. I just can’t believe that the best phone to come out this year waited until now to be released, but it’s worth the wait.

The OnePlus 15, though overshadowed by the near-identical Oppo Find X9 Pro, still has its place in the high-end smartphone market. For one, while Oppo’s flagship has more capable camera hardware, it’s also hundreds more expensive than OnePlus’ alternative, while still besting the Oppo competition in key areas like finish, screen tech, charging speed and even processing power, offering a great all-round experience that many will appreciate – especially with such a large battery at play. I’m also appreciative of OnePlus’ approach to performance; it puts its money where its mouth is by not only including a 165Hz refresh rate and a top-end chipset for gaming, but working with big-name developers to bring 165fps support on day one – and you can’t even say that about many gaming phones. Is it the most visually unique phone? No, but I don’t think it needs to be.

Time to answer the big question: is the OnePlus 15 worth buying in a world dominated by iPhones, Galaxies and Pixels? If you want a great deal, we think the short answer is "yes". The OnePlus 15 delivers real two-day battery life, its camera quality has improved a lot despite the lack of new hardware, and it's performance is absolutely bonkers with excellent thermal management. Plus, you have super fast charging on board too. Here is what the OnePlus 15 isn't: the best camera experience, as the photo editing flow is nowhere nearly as advanced as on an iPhone or Galaxy. It's also not the most original interface, nor the most inspiring phone in terms of outwards appearance. But it is much more comfortable in its own skin now and improves upon most weak points of its predecessor, while keeping the alluring price tag. And that's not a bad place to be.

Oneplus 15 Review: A Rollercoaster Of Emotion On Price, Power, And Availability
Source: Slashgear Anglais EN→FR
The OnePlus 15 didn't set out to redraw the lines of flagship smartphone perks. It would've had a hard time doing so, considering just how good the OnePlus 13 was. And continues to stay so. Instead, it focused its attention elsewhere. Expectedly, performance is top-notch, and so is the camera, at least at the hardware level. Where this device stands out is with small wins. The display is faster and serves some welcome wellness-focused features. Then there's the battery, which is absolutely massive and performs fitting on a day-to-day basis. The 120W charging tech is impressive, and so is the wireless charging stack. The camera is not without its flaws, but it manages to serve its purpose with enough flexibility and panache that you won't find any make-or-break imaging sins. The software, on the other hand, is loaded with useful features and delivers a silky smooth experience.

100% OnePlus 15 review: I’m convinced this is the 2026 Android phone to beat
Source: Stuff TV Anglais EN→FR
There’s not really a box the OnePlus 15 doesn’t tick. It’s a top performer, lasts absolutely ages, has competitive cameras, and looks every bit the flagship device. Unless you’re heavily invested in either Samsung or Google’s ecosystems, I think you’ll struggle to find anything to really grumble about here. OK, it’s not the last word in photography – stablemate Oppo has it beat for a bit more cash, and it can’t rival the camera-focused flagships that are pricier still. If you’re not gaming, the higher refresh rate also won’t feel like it was worth the hit to display resolution. But in all other respects the OnePlus 15 is a fantastic all-rounder. If the competition wasn’t on notice before, it absolutely should be now.

The OnePlus 15 is a solid smartphone and climbs the ladder one step closer to Samsung, Google, and Samsung. This is a droid worth considering and even worth buying. The OnePlus 15 has become a controversial device even before it was globally released. The company and this device have their fair share of fans and haters. The OnePlus 15 is one of the best premium-level flagships you can get at the time of writing. The phone might not have the edgy innovation that made OnePlus legendary, but it covers all bases and is a very smooth performer with an elegant design. If you are in the market for a phone that can take on the best and while willing to pay a premium price, but are not keen to spend more than what is absolutely necessary, the OnePlus 15 is as good as it gets. It might not be a specialist in any department, but it is a capable, premium all-rounder. It is a very settled smartphone from the Never Settling brand. It’s impossible not to be impressed with the OnePlus 15. The company’s latest flagship phone, which starts at $899, feels like a return to their “Flagship Killer” days but for a modern generation. Doubling down on top-notch specs and premium design, the OnePlus 15 delivers a more powerful performance than most phones that cost hundreds of dollars more. The OnePlus 15 offers sufficient upgrades to justify its price of Rs 72,999. Yes, it’s more expensive than its predecessor, but that’s something you can expect from upcoming flagship phones due to a rise in component prices. The shift toward gaming is unmistakable, and this is the best implementation of it we’ve seen yet on a OnePlus flagship. OnePlus 15 Review: Extraordinary battery life at the cost of everything else
Source: 9to5google Anglais EN→FR
The OnePlus 15 isn’t a bad phone, but it is an inherently frustrating one. There’s still plenty of OnePlus magic under the hood here — an ultra-fast chipset, a camera unafraid of colors and life-like saturation, and the largest battery I’ve ever used in a smartphone by a longshot. Simultaneously, though, I just can’t say this phone captured my heart the way the last couple of this company’s flagship releases did. Combining a disappointing redesign with less impressive camera performance and a UI overhaul dramatically hoping you’ll recognize iOS in every nook and cranny just doesn’t feel like a path to success. And yet, there’s plenty to like about the OnePlus 15. It’s comfortable to hold, it nails all the basics — particularly its display and its overall performance — and, to really drive the point home, the battery life here really does change how you use your phone.

At the end of the day, the OnePlus 15 is a solid device. While it moves away from some of the features fans have grown to appreciate about the brand, it delivers a phone that performs well across the board without falling short in any key area. The 7,300-milliamp-hour battery, 165-hertz display and triple-chip architecture make it a gaming powerhouse that outperforms more expensive flagships. The user interface integrates smoothly into daily use, and the durability ratings offer peace of mind. Even with the camera changes compared with the OnePlus 13, it remains a strong contender, despite the end of the Hasselblad partnership. For gamers and power users who value performance and battery life above all else, the OnePlus 15 makes a compelling case. Its sustained frame rates, responsive touch input and multi-day battery life create an experience few competitors can match.

Source: CNet Anglais EN→FR
By focusing on battery life, OnePlus is addressing one of the biggest priorities people have when looking for a new smartphone: They want their devices to last longer before needing to recharge. With good performance and respectable camera capabilities, the OnePlus 15 is a powerful phone and a solid competitor to premium Android phones like the Galaxy S25 series. But a larger battery doesn't guarantee, say, an extra day of use -- there are plenty of ways all that extra capacity can be whittled down to just a few hours of use over rival phones, like ratcheting up the refresh rate, recording high-resolution video and streaming media. It's up to the users to smartly tweak settings to get the most out of that huge 7,300-mAh battery.

The OnePlus 15 is a beast; it's a big performance upgrade from the last model, and it flies through demanding apps. Performance improvements perhaps won’t be felt quite so keenly by photographers, but if you also love to game on your phone, then you need the OnePlus 15. Battery life is outstanding, the 7,300mAh cell comfortably lasts a full day of heavy use and often stretches into a second on lighter ones, and combined with ultra-fast SuperVOOC charging, it never seems to run out of steam. Design-wise, the new matte finish, colors, and materials are sleek; the leatherette and texture of the previous generation are more fun, but I prefer this look, and the flat sides and display feel more modern and well-balanced in the hand.

100% OnePlus 15 review: Unbeatable value and the best battery life ever
Source: Expert Reviews Anglais EN→FR
The OnePlus 15 is, for the most part, a ridiculous bargain. Performance, battery life, display quality and camera prowess are all either class-leading or up there with the best. Only two areas show the OnePlus 15’s more affordable nature compared to the most premium flagships. Software support is still shorter than all of the top dogs and zoom photography isn’t as competent when you get past 30x. I suspect that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and Honor Magic 8 Pro will prove better in both regards – though both will also cost more than this. For its (relatively) low flagship price, the OnePlus 15 delivers in all regards that matter, offering unbeatable value that I doubt will be surpassed in the upcoming year of smartphone releases. In terms of sheer bang for your buck, the OnePlus 15 is simply without equal.

If a smartphone genie offered me three wishes for my dream phone, I couldn't have created a device as great as the OnePlus 15. It delivers more than the most demanding smartphone fans could wish for, with priorities that reflect the ways I really want to use my phone. My three wishes? First, I'd wish for a battery that lasts all day. The OnePlus 15 watches my dream phone fall asleep then parties hard for another day and a half. I let this phone go uncharged for three days during my review and I still had some juice left. And that’s not to mention the incredibly fast charging speeds. My second wish would be for a durable phone, water resistant with glass that is tough enough it won't break if I drop it. OnePlus makes its flagship phone more durable than any Samsung or Apple phone you can buy. I watched last year’s OnePlus 13 survive a run through a dishwasher, and the OnePlus 15 is even tougher than that. Bring on the hot water jets!

It’s not going to be for photographers or those who take as many pictures as they possibly can. The camera system just doesn’t deliver at this point. In using the OnePlus 15, I was frequently reminded of the last OnePlus phone I reviewed, the OnePlus 7 Pro. At the time, it was the company’s most expensive device ever, coming in at the same $750 price as the iPhone XR and Galaxy S10e. The appeal of that phone was its speedy Snapdragon 855 processor and the fact it was one of the first smartphones with a 90Hz AMOLED screen. It was also the first OnePlus phone with a camera that was more than just serviceable. All these years later, the appeal of the OP15 feels similar. It’s a phone for those who value speed over everything else. The tricky thing about this phone is judging its value when its price could change tomorrow. As I mentioned earlier, in the US the OP15 will start at $900, with OnePlus warning pricing for both models could “change due to current market conditions.”

We’ve actually had two OnePlus flagship phones in less than 12 months. However, the OnePlus 15 is, once again, a smash hit and another example of why you shouldn’t always reach for the default option of . The bigger question is whether or not you should go for the Oppo Find X9 Pro or the OnePlus 15, and that’s a much harder one to answer. If I were held at gunpoint and told to pick one, I’d choose the OnePlus 15, just because I love what they’ve been doing recently, and I really love that Sand Storm colour. It’s also a bit cheaper.

OnePlus phones are honestly a little boring to talk about because they're quietly very good, fairly no-frills devices that you can get for a marginally more agreeable price than an iPhone. I highly recommend you buy the OnePlus 15. It manages to bring together a monster battery, stellar performance, and smooth software into a light, slim, and modern-looking phone. Certainly, no other globally available flagship phone comes close to matching the battery life you can squeeze from it, and that alone makes it very desirable. It’s that it does so in a normal package with a big screen and powerful chip that sets it apart from the competition. The compromise in all this positivity is in the camera. Writing the OnePlus 15 verdict is a conundrum, and perhaps a study in conflicting priorities. It is an extremely powerful handset, which is held back by some puzzling decisions. The handset delivers flagship-tier performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, remains cool due to its new thermal management technology, and offers extended battery life with its massive 7,300mAh battery. Additionally, the software is polished, fast, and feature-rich. However, the sacrifice of the 2K display resolution for a 165Hz refresh rate feels like a misstep. Additionally, the downgrade of the camera sensors and their tendency toward oversaturation mean it doesn't quite manage to bag the title of the best camera smartphone in the market.

With the new 15, OnePlus is seemingly changing its strategy. By removing the Hasselblad branding and downgrading the cameras from the OnePlus 13, the newer OnePlus is focusing more on the other aspects, leaving the Oppo Find X9 Pro as the absolute best cameraphone in the family. This way, the company is avoiding direct, homegrown competition with Oppo. But even with the downgraded camera hardware, the OnePlus 15 offers more than a decent camera experience overall. It's not entirely flagship-worthy and the ultrawide and selfie cameras leave more to be desired, but the phone easily compensates in other aspects. The handset runs on the latest and greatest from Qualcomm, handling high loads very well. OnePlus 15 Review: The 165Hz Gaming King?
Source: Tech X Reviews Anglais EN→FR
Finally, let’s briefly summarize. High refresh rates have become a standard feature on all smartphones today. Looking back, we find that OnePlus has played an important role in this. Initially, the 90Hz screen of the OnePlus 7 Pro brought a breakthrough in the industry’s frame rates. Later, the Fengchi gaming engine in the OnePlus Ace 5 pushed the gaming experience to 120Hz. From 60Hz to 90Hz, then to 120Hz, and to today’s 165Hz, OnePlus has been a part of every industry advancement. And in high-intensity esports, a high frame rate can truly allow your skills to be better utilized; it can be said to be a real physical advantage. Among the current wave of flagship products, only OnePlus can achieve this. Not only that, but this phone also has no obvious shortcomings in terms of appearance, battery life, screen, or system. As the performance flagship of this OnePlus generation, it truly lives up to its name.

The phone has a sleek and sturdy body measuring 6.35 x 3.02 x 0.32 inches and weighing around 211 to 215 grams. It uses a glass front protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, an aluminum alloy frame, and either a glass back (Gorilla Glass 7i or Crystal Shield Glass) or a glass-fiber finish. The build is IP68/IP69K certified, meaning it can easily survive dust, pressure water jets, and even short underwater exposure. On the front, the OnePlus 15 packs a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display that supports 165 Hz refresh rate, 1 billion colors, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+.

OnePlus 15 Camera Test | Photo Samples (Zoom, Night, Action)
Source: Tech Spurt Anglais
Testing the OnePlus 15 camera setup ahead of my full review, with a selection of photo test samples shot here and in Prague. I've tried to showcase a wide variety of images snapped entirely on the OnePlus 15's optics, without any additional help. And while I can't actually review the phone and its camera just yet, or even reveal any extra specs, here's a preview of what this flagship is capable of! Among these camera samples you'll find zoom photos captured with the OnePlus 15 telephoto lens, from a ridiculous distance. I also tried to shoot a bunch of low light and night images, going the extra mile by drinking a few strong Czech pints to really test that stabilisation. The full embargo on reviews for the OnePlus 15 lifts in November, so I'll be able to share my in-depth thoughts then. The plan is to use it as my full time phone for over a week before then, including more time away, to really test the performance, battery life and camera tech. Let us know what you think so far down below!

OnePlus 15 Revealed | Camera DOWNGRADE? | TSW253
Source: Tech Spurt Anglais
From the leaks so far, this upcoming flagship phone sounds quite similar to the Oppo Find X9 Pro - not too surprising as they're sister companies. The OnePlus 15 should boast a ridiculously big battery with fast charging support and the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, so gaming will no doubt be a breeze. Those specs in general look fantastic - although the camera rumours are surprising. For this generation, it appears that not only will the OnePlus 15 lose those Hasselblad creds, but the main camera sensor might be a smaller and less capable LYT model. We'll have to see if this impacts the photo and video quality, of course - stay tuned for a full review when the OnePlus 15 goes global.

Commentaire
