Le Poco M6 Pro est un smartphone polyvalent et assez séduisant. Son écran AMOLED de 6,67 pouces est tout simplement sublime, tandis que l'autonomie et la charge rapide sont des points forts appréciés. La caméra principale offre de bons résultats de jour comme de nuit, et la présence de la prise jack 3,5 mm et de la certification IP54 est un plus. Cependant, le smartphone est loin d'être parfait, et des lacunes subsistent dans plusieurs domaines. La qualité des photos de la caméra grand angle n'est pas fabuleuse, et les performances ne sont pas exceptionnelles, ce qui est étonnant pour un smartphone Poco, généralement réputé pour ses performances. Le fait que le smartphone ne soit pas compatible avec la 5G peut également poser problème pour certains utilisateurs.

Le Poco M6 Pro n’est pas un mauvais smartphone, cependant, je ne retrouve pas en ce téléphone l’innovation d’antan de Poco. C’est bien, oui, certes, mais j’aurai aimé un peu plus sur certains points, comme l’autonomie, ou encore l’appareil photo. Je regrette que ce dernier soit aussi épais, pour pas grand chose au final, mais l’esthétique globale de l’appareil et la prise en mains sont très bonnes. Un smartphone convenable mais qui manque de piquant. Il est souhaitable que Poco retrouve un jour, son agressivité et sa férocité au niveau des performances et des caractéristiques globales de ses smartphones.

POCO M6 Pro is a good smartphone that will remain relevant for years to come. Of course, the competition in the market is enormous, and the model is not without its flaws. However, it has left a positive impression, especially considering its price. What was lacking? The cameras could have been better, but for this price, they are still decent. There’s no 5G, although in this price segment, you can find alternatives that support 5G networks. However, this might not be important for everyone. The test model was running on Android 13, but an update to Android 14 with the new HyperOS will be released soon. Other than that, everything is great! To be objective, I’ll list other devices that you might want to consider when choosing a new phone in this price category. These could include: Honor Magic5 Lite 5G, Moto G84 5G, Moto G54, POCO X5 5G, Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, realme 11 5G, Infinix Note 30 Pro, and others.

It is hard to outline anything particularly or catastrophically wrong with the Poco M6 Pro since it really is a solid budget device. If we still had to express some wishes, a better chipset would probably be up there. While the Helio G99 is not necessarily strapped for power, it features compromises like 4G connectivity and 1080p video capture. Other than that, we weren't particularly impressed with the Poco M6 Pro's camera capabilities either, but it's not a dealbreaker. The same goes for the omission of HyperOS and the latest Android 14, both of which Xiaomi has promised to deliver as soon as possible, whatever that means. On the flip side, we enjoyed the 120Hz AMOLED display on the Poco M6 Pro. It gets plenty bright, especially for a budget device, and Xiaomi's software refresh rate handling is quite good.

If you are on a really tight budget and want a good 5G phone, then the Poco M6 Pro might be your best option right now. It also comes with a slightly more edgy design, and well, those software update assurances are a handy bonus. There are some who would simply term this as a 4 GB/ 64 GB version of the Redmi 12 5G, and we can see where they are coming from. We think it is a great option for consumers who find even the base Redmi 12 5G a little out of their reach or maybe just want more RAM and storage at a lower price – even the 6 GB/ 128 GB version of the Poco M6 Pro has a slightly lower price tag than its Redmi 12 5G counterpart. Yes, there are other phones in the mix, too, most notably the recently launched Samsung Galaxy F14, but we really think the budget 5G star wars right now is in the attack of the clone mode. We cannot see consumers complaining. We are not.

ARM Mali-G57 MP2:

Seuls les vieux jeux peuvent tourner de façon fluide sur ces ordinateurs (S'ils ne sont pas trop gourmands en ressources). Les coeurs à mémoire partagée de cette catégorie ont l'avantage d'être moins chaud et moins gourmand en énergie. Pour le bureau, internet, l'édition de photos, et le montage vidéo ces cartes graphiques n'ont aucune restrictions.

Helio G99:

SoC octa-core basé sur ARM avec 2x gros cœurs ARM Cortex-A76 et 6x petits cœurs ARM Cortex-A55 économes en énergie. Le tout cadencé à 2,2 GHz. Il intègre un modem LTE Cat-13 (4G) et une carte graphique ARM Mali-G57 MP2. Par rapport à l'ancien Helio G96, le G99 est fabriqué selon le processus plus récent de 6 nm et affiche des fréquences plus élevées.

6.67": Seuls quelques smartphones possèdent une telle diagonale d’écran. 

Un écran de plus grandes dimensions permettent des résolutions plus élevées, les détails comme la finesse des lettres seront meilleurs. Néanmoins, un écran de plus petite taille est synonyme de consommation énergétique moindre et souvent d’un terminal plus compact, plus léger et plus abordable.
