Nos premiers benchmarks internes du Core i7-11375H sont en place et ils sont à peine meilleurs que le Core i7-1185G7 à 25 W. Les équipementiers devront exploiter au maximum son potentiel Turbo Boost, sinon les performances ne seront pas très supérieures à celles d'un processeur Tiger Lake-U.

Le nouveau cœur Intel i7-11375H a été conçu pour combler l'écart de performances entre la série Tiger Lake-U, de faible puissance, et la série Comet Lake-H, de forte puissance. En réalité, cependant, le processeur ressemble plus à un Core i7-1185G7 overclocké pour le meilleur et pour le pire.

D'après les résultats obtenus avec un échantillon de test Vaio Z, les performances brutes du multi-thread sont environ 3 à 19 % plus rapides que la moyenne des ordinateurs portables Core i7-1185G7, en fonction de la durabilité Turbo Boost du système Core U-series. L'écart de performance est un peu plus important, jusqu'à 28 %, par rapport à la moyenne des ordinateurs portables Core i7-1165G7. En revanche, les performances du single-thread ne sont que de 6 à 7 % plus rapides.

Bien entendu, les propriétaires actuels d'ordinateurs portables Core ix de 11e génération ne passeront probablement pas au Core i7-11375H, et l'augmentation marginale des performances ne pose donc pas de problème. Intel veut faire la cour aux propriétaires d'anciens ordinateurs portables Whiskey Lake-U pour qu'ils passent au Core i7-11375H, où l'augmentation des performances est nettement plus importante. La puissance du CPU et du GPU est respectivement 2x et 4x plus rapide, pour des performances par watt et par gramme nettement supérieures sans avoir besoin de s'appuyer sur un GPU GeForce MX.

Les performances multi-filières sont encore légèrement inférieures à celles de l'AMD Ryzen 7 4700U, tandis que le GPU intégré Iris Xe G7 n'est que légèrement plus rapide que le Radeon RX Vega 8 dans la plupart des titres. Le Core i7-11375H est certainement une option de processeur Ultrabook d'Intel, mais les processeurs mobiles AMD Zen 2 de l'année dernière peuvent encore se battre.
