Pour les 2000 euros demandés, Acer livre un Predator Triton 500 de bonne facture. L'écran est vraiment bon, et la configuration sera à la hauteur pour faire tourner tous les AAA à venir. Le problème du bruit l'empêche d'obtenir quatre étoiles, tout comme sa prédisposition au throttling dans certaines conditions d'utilisation. C'est fort dommage, surtout que ce type de machine n'est pas pensé pour faire tourner Word ou le Solitaire toute la journée. Côté esthétique, avec un peu moins de plastique autour de la dalle et - question confort - avec des touches un peu plus espacées, cet amphibien nous aurait ravis. Nous, chipoter ? Jamais, ce n'est pas du tout notre genre.

You get fast gaming performance, a slim and light metal chassis, and pretty decent battery life for a gaming laptop. Then there's the Turbo button, which provides hassle-free GPU overclocking with a single button press. Cooling is good as well, and that's topped off by a wide selection of I/O ports, including Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, and Mini DisplayPort outputs. Of course, I'd say these things are more or less what people expect from a high-end gaming laptop in 2019, so even if the Predator Triton 500 doesn't particularly impress in any one area, it still manages to check off most of the right boxes, which is pretty good in my books. At S$3,198, it is competitively priced for its specifications, so it's got things nailed down on the pricing front as well. If you're in the market for a portable gaming laptop, you wouldn't be remiss to give the Predator Triton 500 a look.

Le seul défaut majeur que présente la machine est sa ventilation qui est beaucoup trop présente lors de session gaming. Même en personnalisant la courbe de ventilation, elle reste encore bruyante. La maintenance de la machine peut aussi être un frein car actuellement, il vous sera impossible d’effectuer une upgrade. Le prix de notre modèle est de 2639 €, à voir si une 2070 SUPER ne vous suffirait car le rapport Q/P serait plus intéressant.

En 1976, la société a été fondée à Taïwan sous le nom de Multitech et a été rebaptisée Acer ou Acer Group en 1987. La gamme de produits comprend, par exemple, des ordinateurs portables, des tablettes, des smartphones, des ordinateurs de bureau, des moniteurs, des téléviseurs et des périphériques informatiques.
