Gigabyte a une fois encore réussi à faire des sacrifices là où il était bon d'en faire avec son P55W v7. En mettant de côté certaines fonctionnalités à l'image du Thunderbolt 3 et du G-Sync, Gigabyte fait économiser au bas mots des centaines d'euros, et ce sans compromettre les performances.

En tenant de son prix relativement petit, les périphériques d'entrée convainquent tout comme, dans une moindre mesure, la dalle IPS. Il en va de même avec le châssis en plastique relativement rigide et facile à démonter. Le positionnement des interfaces maladroit, l'écran sombre aux temps de réponse élevés et le SSD un tantinet décevant portent grief à l'ensemble. Le bruit parasite haute fréquence qui accompagne une charge lourde est la vraie faiblesse de ce Gigabyte P55W v7. Il se peut que seul notre modèle en soit affecté. Par conséquent, le P55W v7 mérite notre recommandation, si ce problème est isolé à notre exemplaire.
