Grand public, haut-de-gamme et contorsionniste. Dell lance sur le marché un ordinateur portable de 13,3 pouces doté d'un système de charnière à 360 degrés pour animer l'écran tactile, le tout pour 800 euros environ. Un choix avisé pour ceux qui seraient à la recherche d'une alternative au Lenovo Yoga 2 ou qui voudraient tout simplement "plus" qu'un simple ordinateur portable.

Still, there are a number of issues that we want Dell to address in future Inspiron 2-in-1 devices. For starters, the power button either needs to be moved or made flush with the chassis to prevent accidental shutdown. The screen should either be less glossy or needs a much stronger backlight to prevent the mirror-like reflections from ruining the viewing experience. While the keyboard isn’t the best we’ve used, Dell is going to have a hard time improving the physical typing experience without making the device feel too thick or heavy in tablet mode. Speaking of which, if you’re going to buy a 2-in-1 and use it as a tablet then you’re going to want to have a pen … so we really hope Dell finds a way to integrate built-in pen storage on the next version of the Inspiron 13 series.

With its stylish design, solid audio and above-average performance, the Dell Inspiron 13 7000 is a solid 2-in-1 option. Unfortunately, it has a slow SSD hard drive, and you can't count on getting strong battery life. For $50 less, you can buy the Acer Aspire R 14, which has 8-plus hours of battery life and equivalent performance to the Inspiron, but a dimmer display.

The Inspiron 7359 is both affordable and appears to be an excellent mobile solution with features inherent to a higher-end device. It has a bit washed out design, which is, of course, pretty subjective but the construction is impeccable. It’s solid as hell but that has also reflected on the weight of the device, which brings us to one of the few drawbacks of this device. As a 13-inch device that aims to be comfortable for use even in tablet mode, the device weighs a bit more than it should and feels a bit tiring at some point. The thickness is also relatively high, although this doesn’t pose as a big problem.

But the short battery life, rough trackpad, and the heating issue make it tough for us to wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone. The i5 model, though, should make battery life and heating aspects slightly better. If you live with the drawbacks I mentioned, the Dell Inspiron 7373 is an option worth considering. If you prefer better battery life, however, we would suggest the Lenovo Yoga 720 but do note that we still don’t have the 8th Gen processors in India and they cost considerably more than Dell Inspiron 7373.

Le contrôleur mémoire intégré prend en charge le DDR4-2666 et en utilisant le cTDP à la hausse ou à la baisse, les performances peuvent être ajustées par le fabricant (15 W par défaut, 10 à 25 W possibles). Par rapport au i5-10510U plus puissant, le cache de niveau 3 a été réduit de 8 à 6 Mo.
