Le HP Omen X 2S n'est pas un mauvais PC gamer. Il brille sur le papier par son excellente configuration, et son design tout de même réussi. Son problème est que son deuxième écran est très accessoire, que ses deux écrans sont très mal calibrés, et qu'il ne justifie pas assez globalement son prix. Alors qu'AMD arrive avec ses Ryzen de 4e génération, on aura donc du mal à recommander un tel investissement sur une machine qui n'arrive pas à se sortir du lot malgré ses efforts.

We've finally reached the point where juggling multiple displays on your laptop could actually make you more productive. But as usual, it's not a good idea to jump into the first wave of any new technology. The Omen X 2S is an admirable effort from HP, but it feels like the company is still trying to get the hang of things. There's clearly room to fit in a larger and wider display -- maybe next year HP can actually figure out how to make that happen.

Fondée en 1939, la société américaine est un important fabricant de serveurs et d'imprimantes et l'une des principales sociétés informatiques au monde. Jusqu'en 2015, la société s'appelait Hewlett-Packard Company. Après une scission, la division informatique a été renommée HP Inc.
En 2023, HP détenait une part de marché approximative de 22 % des ventes mondiales de PC, ce qui en faisait le numéro 2 après Lenovo.
Ces cartes graphiques de milieu de gamme peuvent faire tourner tout les jeux récents de façon fluide. Les jeux gourmands ne peuvent être joués qu'avec les détails réglés sur moyen.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Mobile:
Carte graphique pour PC portables haut de gamme, basée sur la puce TU104, avec 2 944 nuanceurs et 8 Go de VRAM GDDR6. Sa fréquence est en baisse par rapport à la variante pour PC de bureau.

Processeur basé sur l'architecture Coffee Lake, pour les PC portables gros en lourds. Intègre huit curs cadencés entre 2,9 et 4,8 GHz (4,3 GHz avec les 6 curs) compatibles HyperThreading. Gravé en 14 nm amélioré (14 nm++). Possède un multiplicateur ouvert qui permet d'overclocker le processeur.
