Un pas dans le monde des pros. Avec son nouveau ProBook 440 G3, HP nous donne une leçon sur ce qu'un ordinateur portable professionnel d'entrée-de-gamme se doit d'apporter. La mise à jour vers la nouvelle architecture de processeurs Intel, Skylake, n'a pas été oubliée, mais malheureusement, ce 14 pouces a hérité des défauts du ProBook 430 G3.

The 44Wh unit combined with the Core i5-6200U CPU and the energy-efficient 14-inch TN panel will probably get you through the day with a single charge. Well, it mostly depends on your usage, but the results from our battery tests are impressive, nonetheless. Oh, and we forgot to mention that the machine is quite thin (21.1 mm) and weighs just 1.67 kg with the option of an additional M.2 SSD stick alongside the 2.5-inch HDD. This is absolutely a bang for the buck device.

Mauvais écran. Le PC portable business 14" de HP a lui aussi droit à une mise à niveau Kabby Lake. Malheureusement, et comme dans le cas de son homologue 15", l'écran nous parait insatisfaisant.

Fondée en 1939, la société américaine est un important fabricant de serveurs et d'imprimantes et l'une des principales sociétés informatiques au monde. Jusqu'en 2015, la société s'appelait Hewlett-Packard Company. Après une scission, la division informatique a été renommée HP Inc.
En 2023, HP détenait une part de marché approximative de 22 % des ventes mondiales de PC, ce qui en faisait le numéro 2 après Lenovo.
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
Intel HD Graphics 520:
Carte graphique intégrée (GT2) à certains processeurs Core ULV Ultra Basse Tension de génération Skylake (TDP de 15 W). Embarque 24 unités d'exécution
NVIDIA GeForce 930MX:
Carte graphique de milieu de gamme pour ordinateurs portables basée sur la puce GM108. La 930MX est un rafraîchissement de la 930M et prend désormais en charge la mémoire graphique GDDR5.
Intel HD Graphics 620:
GPU intégré (GT2) présent sur certains modèles de CPU Kaby-Lake (série 15 W ULV).
Intel UHD Graphics 620:
GPU intégré (GT2, 24 unités de calcul) que l'on trouve sur certains processeurs Kaby Lake Refresh (série ULV 15 W). Techniquement identique à la carte graphique Kaby Lake précédente, la HD Graphics 620.

6200U:
Processeur dual-core basé sur l'architecture Skylake pour ordinateurs portables et Ultrabooks. Il offre une puce graphique intégrée HD Graphics 520. Le processeur est gravé selon une lithographie d'une finesse de 14 nm.
Intel Kaby Lake:
i7-7500U:
Processeur dual-core basé sur l'architecture Kaby Lake et gravé selon une lithographie améliorée d'une finesse de 14 nm.
Intel Kaby Lake Refresh:
i5-8250U:
Processeur quatre cœurs ULV Kaby Lake Refresh. Les quatre cœurs ont une fréquence comprise entre 1,6 et 3,4 GHz (Turbo Boost), et supporte l'hyper-threading. Le GPU intégré a une fréquence comprise entre 300 et 1 100 MHz. Le SoC est fabriqué grâce à un process 14nm+ FinFET.
