It’s somewhat undermined by the disappointing update support, though, with just one Android upgrade and two years of security patches planned.

Now, with its enormous silicon carbon battery, one of the best bits of this slender Android tablet is that excellent longevity. You can muck about with three or four apps and stream video simultaneously and still enjoy over ten hours of action. Plus, the Honor MagicPad 3's fast charge support makes it a champion in the battery life realm. That LCD screen may not be OLED tech but it's still pleasingly crisp with respectable HDR output, and it's bright enough to use outdoors if you can avoid direct sunlight. Sadly the audio output isn't as thrilling. Despite boasting eight speakers, the Honor MagicPad 3 could use a bass and volume boost.

EN→FRThe Honor MagicPad 3 offers good value for money considering the screen size, power and the formidable battery. Bundled in with that keyboard and pencil it’s a great offer: once those offers expire and this tablet returns to full price, it will face tough competition from the OnePlus Pad 3. I’ve enjoyed working and watching on the MagicPad 3 and while the loss of an OLED display is a shame, I think there’s enough to compensate for that. At the same time, Honor was the cheap OLED tablet of choice with the MagicPad 2; that distinction has now gone and there’s a little less to help Honor’s tablet stand out among the best tablets on offer.

EN→FRBoth the OnePlus Pad 3 and the iPad Air are better choices if you want to get the most powerful performance for your money, but neither gets you the keyboard case and stylus for as little money as the Honor Magic Pad 3. Plus, the Honor is still a nippy performer, and will likely be plenty fast for most users. Beyond that, it offers some of the best battery life of any tablet around and an impressive seven years of software support, so it will last you a good long time in more ways than one. It’s still a shame that Honor chose to revert from OLED to LCD for the display, but there’s no denying that the Magic Pad 3 offers more than enough quality to make up for it.

The Honor MagicPad 3 is going to get a lot of flack. I already know -- because it offers an LCD panel after last generation used an OLED display. But to be fair, this LCD panel is excellent, gets up to 165Hz in refresh rate, and the rest of the tablet improves everywhere, including the keyboard which now has a large trackpad.

Qualcomm Adreno 750:
Puce graphique pour smartphones et tablettes intégrée au SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Qualcomm affirme qu'il est 25 % plus rapide que l'Adreno 7340 dans le Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 et les premiers benchmarks montrent que le GPU peut battre l'iGPU Apple A17 Pro.
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

SD 8 Gen 3: SoC haut de gamme pour smartphones présenté fin 2022 avec un noyau principal rapide basé sur une architecture ARM Cortex-X3 cadencée à 3,2 GHz. Deux autres cœurs de performance sont basés sur l'A715 et ne prennent en charge que les applications 64 bits. Les deux autres cœurs A710 prennent également en charge les applications 32 bits, tout comme les cœurs Cortex-A510 à économie d'énergie. En plus des cœurs de processeur, le SoC intègre un modem WiFi 7, un DSP Hexagon (pour l'accélération de l'IA) et un ISP Spectra. Le contrôleur de mémoire intégré prend en charge la mémoire rapide LPDDR5x jusqu'à 4 200 MHz. la 5G est incluse dans la puce avec le modem Snapdragon X70.
