Huawei a désormais doté l'ordinateur portable multimédia MateBook 16 d'un processeur Intel et l'appelle le MateBook 16s. Les acheteurs bénéficient également d'un port Thunderbolt 4, d'un module Wi-Fi 6E dernier cri et d'une course des touches un peu plus importante. À part cela, il n'y a pas beaucoup de différence. Cela justifie-t-il une augmentation de prix de 500 euros (510 dollars américains) ?
Huawei a désormais doté l'ordinateur portable multimédia MateBook 16 d'un processeur Intel et l'appelle le MateBook 16s. Les acheteurs bénéficient également d'un port Thunderbolt 4, d'un module Wi-Fi 6E dernier cri et d'une course des touches un peu plus importante. À part cela, il n'y a pas beaucoup de différence. Il a après tout les mêmes qualités que ses frères, avec d'excellentes performances pour une chauffe bien maîtrisée, un écran ratio 3:2 parfait pour la productivité, et un design vraiment réussi. Son autonomie de 10 heures le met également confortablement dans la moyenne de sa catégorie. Son plus grand problème est la qualité de son écran, qui n'est pas mauvaise, mais aurait mérité plus d'attention. L'ordinateur paraît également un peu lourd alors que Samsung et LG sont désormais capables de frôler le kilo sur cette même diagonale. Mais surtout... C'est peut-être son manque de caractère que l'on retient le plus. I Il est difficile de s'enthousiasmer pour le Huawei MateBook 16s, puisqu'à ne vouloir brusquer personne, il n'arrive pas vraiment à trouver sa propre personnalité. Reste un PC portable 16 pouces de qualité qui ne décevra pas à l'achat, même s'il n'offre pas non plus de rêve.

HUAWEI MateBook 16s : 16 pouces de puissance transportable en format 3:2

Nous avions beaucoup apprécié le MateBook 16, et logiquement nous trouvons le MateBook 16s très intéressant également. Mais commençons par le tarif : 1699.99 € pour notre machine avec un Core i7 et un stockage très intéressant de 1 To, plus, pour le lancement une offre qui comprend un écran MateView GT 27 offert, soit un cadeau d'environ 280 € qui sera très intéressant pour multiplier les écrans pour travailler, avec toutefois un format différent. Les performances ? Rien à redire de manière générale, le Core i7 répond à tous nos besoins, donc nul doute que le Core i9 fera très fort. Seul le SSD traine un peu la patte par rapport à la machine précédente. Une bonne machine donc, pour une clientèle très ciblée qui trouvera ici son bonheur. Amateurs du format 3:2, de portables avec une belle finition et de la puissance, la gamme MateBook 16s est là !

The 3:2 display and powerful sound system are both up there with the very best in class even if the panel doesn’t have the same 90Hz refresh rate as the smaller laptop. The keyboard is good and the new “smart” 1080p webcam is a very nice feature to have if you spend any time on videoconferencing calls. Performance from the 12th generation Intel chip is nothing short of outstanding, and I’m also happy that Huawei hasn’t joined the stampede to rid its compact machines of Type-A USB ports, while the presence of a Thunderbolt 4 port is always nice to see.

It’s well-built, has a colourful display, and can be equipped with the kind of power that would embarrass many desktop PCs. At £1499 for an M1 MacBook-baiting Core i9 model, it also looks like stonkingly good value for anyone that can take advantage of all that CPU muscle. We won’t be giving it a star rating until we’ve had a chance to do some proper testing (to see if the cooling system really can tame Intel’s toasty new silicon) and given the battery a real workout. Right now, though, it absolutely earns a place on the shortlist for creatives and workers that aren’t chained to an office desk.

The large touch display is great and responsive and there's plenty of punch in terms of colours, while the surrounding slim bezels make for a lovely viewing experience. Whilst we couldn't test the performance of the MateBook 16s during our brief time with it, it's certainly a device we are looking forward to trying out properly.

Huawei:
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Carte graphique intégrée dans les SoCs Intel Tiger Lake G4 basés sur la nouvelle architecture Gen. 12 avec 96 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La fréquence d'horloge dépend du modèle de processeur. Les puces Tiger Lake sont produites dans le processus moderne 10nm+ chez Intel.

Intel Alder Lake-S:
i7-12700H:
Un processeur mobile basé sur Alder-Lake avec 6 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent un hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 20 threads. Le processeur fonctionne à des fréquences allant de 1,7 à 4,7 GHz et prend en charge vPro.
Intel Raptor Lake-H:
i9-13900H: CPU mobile basé sur Alder Lake avec 6 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent l'hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 20 threads. L'horloge du processeur tourne à 5,4 GHz. Par rapport à l'i9-13900HK, il n'y a pas d'overclocking facile, mais un ensemble complet de fonctions de gestion vPro.
