Still, this new ThinkPad has a rugged design, speedy performance, impressive battery life and an array of high-end features, like its webcam shutter and retractable keys. If you can get over its lofty price tag—or perhaps, even better, wait for a price cut—the ThinkPad X1 makes for one of the stronger 8th-generation 2-in-1s we’ve seen yet.

The overall essence ThinkPad X1 Yoga gives us is that of a business-focused laptop with a pinch of flexibility, exactly what the young, business enthusiasts need these days. It has the power and it has the stealthy look that is new yet familiar with the rest of the ThinkPad line up. At Rs 1,12,000 it sure will make you think twice before investing, but given the overall package, it could have been a steal if it was for under Rs 1 lakh. Convertible market is already heating up at a good pace and Lenovo has a big role to play in it. Although this new ThinkPad X1 Yoga is one of the most powerful 2-in-1 laptops out there, the question is, will it be able to hold the title for long?
