RedMagic has produced yet another incremental improvement in its quest for gaming phone mastery. The RedMagic 10S Pro lacks the comprehensive poise of the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, but its performance is scorching and its stamina impressive. It’s also extremely well priced.

If you’re an avid mobile gamer who absolutely needs a top-shelf chipset to keep up with the latest titles, and a battery life that gives you almost nothing to worry about, I can’t think of a better phone out there for your needs than the Redmagic 10S Pro. Even as someone who isn’t that much of a mobile gamer, I’ve still loved having the 10S Pro’s gorgeous 6.85-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen available in a pinch, and the ability to get up to two-days of use on a single charge still blows my mind, plus it’s one of the fastest phones to charge that I’ve ever tested. Unfortunately, I do think that the fairly lacklustre camera set-up, as well as the comparatively short promise of three years of software updates, makes the Redmagic 10S Pro a phone that the majority of people will skip, but for the gamers out there, I think you’ll love what Redmagic has put together. To see what the 10S Pro is up against, check out our breakdown of the best gaming phones.

The RedMagic 10S Pro tries to cram in as much raw power as possible to deliver the ultimate gaming experience on a phone. If you haven’t heard of RedMagic, you’re not alone; owned by ZTE, the company is often overshadowed by other companies like Asus, who ships flashier gaming phones but at much higher prices. The 10S Pro is the opposite. It tries to capitalize on top-tier specs at a more reasonable price. Starting at $629, it brings some incremental upgrades to the already beastly 10 Pro and once again cements RedMagic as the best-value-for-gaming phone you can buy.

It’s hard for me to say that, in this current economy, anyone looking for a gaming phone shouldn’t buy the REDMAGIC 10S Pro. Because it’s such a good device and it provides extreme value thanks to its lower base cost. So, I won’t say that. You absolutely should buy this phone because at a starting price of $699, why would you not? The camera is great, the performance is exceptional, and the phone looks good. It also has a huge battery, long battery life, and it charges up very fast. There are almost no downsides here.

Look, the Redmagic 10S Pro is a great phone for mobile gamers with all the necessary speed and optimizations to help you get the most of the experience. The problem is that there are a few things average users will have to deal with to really get the most out of the phone. There's the camera watermark, the Redmagic news feed, the bloatware, and the not-exactly-brilliant cameras. If you need a phone with a powerful camera, stick to the Google Pixel or Samsung Galaxy. If cameras are secondary to speed, the Redmagic 10S is as much a flagship killer as any device I've tested. As far as price, you can get the low-end model for $699; the midrange model is $849 and includes 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage; and the highest-end model is $999 for 24GB of memory and 1TB of storage.

The REDMAGIC 10S Pro is an exceptional smartphone that lives up to its flagship status. From its powerful hardware to its robust feature set, there’s a lot to admire in this unique and capable device. While there are a few features I’d like to see in a future iteration—such as wireless charging—I’m thoroughly impressed by what REDMAGIC has accomplished with the 10S Pro.

For almost as long as smartphones have been around, gaming phones have existed as devices that prioritize battery and performance, often at the expense of thin designs and features like camera quality. The RedMagic 10S Pro is the latest of these gaming phones, but instead of simply prioritizing performance and battery, the device adds extra features like trigger buttons on the corners for gamers who want that extra control. Not only that, but the RedMagic 10S Pro is actually pretty affordable, given how high-performance it is. The device costs roughly $699, which is far less than many similar-performing alternatives. But should gamers really go for a purpose-built gaming phone like the RedMagic 10S Pro, or should they stick to gaming on another device that might be just as powerful?

Redmagic is the world-renowned gaming smartphone brand that offers more superior performance for gamers along with plus points such as the highest frame rates, sharpest graphics and the longest battery life. It is a global leader in this category, offering similar specs as the Asus ROG Phone series but at much more affordable prices. Late last year, Redmagic 10 Pro was the first phone to market with the blazing fast high-end Snapdragon Elite chip that has powered all of the main 2025 Android flagship smartphones.

The Redmagic 10S Pro is a beast of a gaming phone. The flat back and bold aesthetic immediately differentiates it as a gaming phone, and you get a vibrant 144Hz AMOLED panel that's more immersive than most phones available today. It has the best internals of any device I used yet, and it is a gaming powerhouse — it ran demanding titles without any issues. You also get a massive 7,050mAh battery, ultrasonic triggers, and a clean software. There are issues with durability and connectivity, but on the whole, the 10S Pro is a good choice if you need the best internals and a good value.

The RedMagic 10S Pro comes with the newest and latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a large 7050 mAh battery, 144Hz OLED screen, a fan, liquid metal cooling and shoulder trigger buttons. it has everything needed for gaming and for daily phone use, except maybe good cameras.

The RedMagic 10S Pro is a great device offering a great package for the money. The base RAM and storage variant (12/256GB) starts at $699, which is a steal of a price for what the phone has to offer. If you're willing to put up with the gaming aesthetics and the lack of wireless charging, you can get a lot out of this beast. The processor on board is one of the fastest in any Android phone to date, the battery is huge, and the edge-to-edge screen is a joy to look at. The real drawback here is the camera system. Even though the main camera is pretty decent, the ultrawide and the selfie cameras are not on par with flagship phones, and the lack of telephoto shows in zoomed samples.

Gaming smartphones have long carried the burden of looking like alien artifacts from some distant cyberpunk future. Bold angles, aggressive lighting, and garish aesthetics dominated this niche, creating devices that screamed their purpose from across any room. Yet something curious has been happening recently, a quiet revolution where raw performance begins meeting sophisticated design sensibilities in ways nobody quite expected. The REDMAGIC 10S Pro represents this fascinating evolution, challenging preconceived notions about what gaming-focused hardware should actually look like. Gone are the days when choosing superior mobile gaming performance meant sacrificing elegance or accepting awkward compromises. But has this device truly cracked the code of balancing technical prowess with mainstream appeal? Let’s dive deeper to discover whether the REDMAGIC 10S Pro delivers on its ambitious promises.

The 10S Pro may share many of the appointments of the 10 Pro, but improving the processor and cooling, while retaining the pricing, makes it an easy phone to recommend. Obviously, its bulk means that it won’t suit someone looking for a normal, everyday phone, but if mobile gaming is your thing, the Redmagic 10S Pro is one of the very best options on the market today.

Nubia's REDMAGIC 10s Pro gaming smartphone is a minor upgrade vs the 10 Pro, offering Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Edition performance and some of the best battery life in 2025. Sure, it's not Red or Magic, but the REDMAGIC 10s Pro is an absolute monster for gamers, with plenty of well considered features packed in. As usual, the main draw here is that performance. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Edition replaces the vanilla model, so Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact and other favourites all run flawlessly. The REDMAGIC 10s Pro's ICE cooling tech keeps it from warming up, even with your game's settings maxed out. And like the ROG Phone 9 Pro, there's no slowdown even if you're gaming for hours.Speaking of which, the battery size is still just over 7000mAh, as with the 10 Pro.
