Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Dans nos tests, le Dell G3 15 3500 s'est avéré être un PC portable de jeu fiable, tant du point de vue des performances que du châssis. Le plastique robuste en fait un appareil robuste, si bien que l'on transporte le G3 15 sans hésitation. Face à la concurrence, le design n'a rien de révolutionnaire, mais il n'a pas à l'être. D'autant qu'avec ses possibilités de maintenance et un port Thunderbolt 3, il a du potentiel pour de futures mises à jour.

Le Dell G3 15 est un PC portable de jeu solide à tous les niveaux, assez puissant pour de grosses sollicitations graphiques en Full HD.

Le Dell G3 15 3500 possède néanmoins quelques défauts : lecteur de carte lent, qui laisse les cartes dépasser, autonomie perfectible surtout avec une batterie de 68 Wh, écran décevant à cause des fuites de luminosité. Mais au regard du prix, l'ensemble reste attractif.
