Proposé dans une version 5G et 4G (testée ici), le Redmi Note 13 envoie de très bons signaux. En particulier pour qui cherche un téléphone endurant, polyvalent et performant pour un prix plancher. Vendu moins de 200€ le Redmi Note 13 offre une prestation tout à l’équilibre. D’après les mesures du Labo Fnac, seule la photo fait figure d’ombre au tableau, avec une colorimétrie imparfaite et l’omniprésence de bruit dans les clichés les plus sombres. Heureusement, le smartphone compense avec l’un des écrans les plus lumineux qu’on ait vus à ce prix, par ailleurs cadencé à 120 Hz pour une meilleure réactivité. C’est écrit en titre : un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Certes, son écran AMOLED 120 Hz est très lumineux, mais les rouages ne suivent pas. En l'occurrence, les performances sont le gros point faible de ce Redmi Note 13 4G, même si vous ne cherchez pas à jouer à des jeux gourmands. Heureusement, l'autonomie relève le niveau. La batterie généreuse du smartphone autorise une grosse journée sans avoir à le recharger, voire plus pour les plus économes. Du reste, la prestation photographique peut être considérée de qualité… si l'on s'en tient au capteur principal. On pestera encore contre l'interface MIUI, toujours aussi chargée et débordante d'applications préinstallées parasites. Le revers de la médaille d'un smartphone de ce calibre vendu 200 €.

En résumé, le Redmi Note 13 4G est un smartphone bien équilibré qui s'adresse à tous ceux qui recherchent un smartphone fiable et bon pas cher. Les quatre années de mises à jour de sécurité ne placent pas seulement le smartphone de Xiaomi au sommet de sa gamme de prix, elles le rendent aussi beaucoup plus facile à recommander à un parent ou à un ami.

L’écran est également d’excellente qualité, avec une luminosité maximale supérieure à celle du modèle de l’année dernière. Les performances de la caméra principale sont très bonnes pour le prix, et l’autonomie ainsi que la charge rapide sont plutôt bonnes. Néanmoins, malgré tout cela, je suis assez déçu que le smartphone nous parvienne avec Android 13, la même puce Snapdragon 695 que l’on retrouve déjà dans le Redmi Note 12 4G, et la caméra grand angle est loin de nous convaincre. Cependant, même avec ces quelques points négatifs, le Redmi Note 13 4G reste le meilleur rapport qualité-prix dans son segment de prix.

As told earlier, the phone has an excellent AMOLED display, although, with some minor bugs in portrait mode, the camera setup is still decent. Yeah, they could have done better with the chipset, at least an SD 695 or even the G99 Ultra (that’s not going to happen as long as there’s the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G though). However, the dual speaker is finally back again, so that’s a bonus. So to put it simply, the Redmi Note 13 4G is a well-balanced budget phone for those who seek comfort, affordability, and a good smartphone experience at 25 thousand rupees.

Le Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G est assurément un bon smartphone. Il confirme que la série est capable de montée en gamme, offrant même des éléments haut de gamme (charge 120 W, IP68...). L'écran OLED 120 Hz est de bonne facture et le Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G se dote d'un capteur 200 Mpx convaincant. En outre, il dispose d'une très bonne autonomie et propose de belles performances avec sa puce Dimensity 7200-Ultra. Outre les quelques lacunes logicielles (interface, Android 13...), on ne peut s'empêcher de penser que ce Redmi Note 13 Pro+ n'est pas forcément le modèle le plus pertinent au sein de sa propre famille. Avec cinq modèles au sein d'une seule gamme, Xiaomi n'échappe pas à la cannibalisation et il faut y regarder à deux fois avant de choisir. Il est maintenant temps de donner mon avis final sur ce smartphone. Pour moi, il s’agit tout simplement d’un des meilleurs smartphones de milieu de gamme que j’ai pu avoir entre les mains. Il dispose de certains des meilleurs équipements, avec de superbes performances, un écran magnifique, une grande autonomie et une charge ultra-rapide. Même le design et le son haut de gamme sont impressionnants. Le Note 13 Pro+ dispose de performances globales remarquables qui pourraient rivaliser avec des téléphones coûtant le double de son prix. Alors si vous possédez un budget avoisinant les 350 euros, je ne peux que vous recommander ce smartphone.

L'arrivée de l'écran incurvé est accompagnée d'un surplus de finition qui manquait beaucoup aux Redmi Note jusqu'ici. L'IP68 et le Corning Gorilla Glass permettent de protéger son smartphone. La puce Dimensity 7200 Ultra, un peu plus costaude, fait du bon boulot. Notons aussi le 120 W qui permet une charge rapide très efficace. Le Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus s'équipe en outre d'un écran Oled 120 Hz plutôt bien calibré, d'un capteur 200 Mpx relativement correct, mais qui ne fait pas des étincelles, d'une des meilleures autonomies de sa gamme de prix, mais souffre toujours des mêmes lacunes logicielles avec MIUI 14 (Android 13). Vous l'aurez compris, le plus gros problème de ce smartphone ne se trouve pas dans ses qualités intrinsèques, mais dans la concurrence que Redmi s'inflige à lui-même.

Pourtant, la filiale de Xiaomi donne l'impression d'une belle montée en gamme cette année. Très bien équipé, notamment par un module photo principal de 200 mégapixels, il est d'une polyvalence à toute épreuve. Par ailleurs, il se pare d'atours que l'on pensait auparavant réservés à des mobiles haut de gamme : certification IP68 et verre Gorilla Glass Victus sont au programme. Bien sûr, certaines et certains regretteront la disparition de la prise jack, ou même simplement qu'il soit deux fois (deux !) moins performant que le récent POCO X6 Pro, fraîchement lancé par la marque sœur de Redmi. Reste qu'on a là entre les mains un excellent produit, qui a par ailleurs le bon goût d'offrir un meilleur support logiciel que l'an dernier : Redmi promet désormais trois mises à niveau et quatre ans de correctifs de sécurité.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is a good smartphone, even a really good one. The AMOLED display completely convinces me, as does the main camera with 200 MP and the fast charging with 120 W. The smartphone is prettier—for my taste—than many other inexpensive smartphones and also has a high-quality finish. Another positive aspect is that you will be provided with security updates for up to four years, although Android 13, which is no longer quite as fresh as it used to be, leaves a somewhat bland aftertaste. I would like to say one thing about the points of criticism: Yes, I am grumbling about the fact that there is no wireless charging, no telephoto camera and the ultra-wide-angle camera is rather "average". But don't forget that you can buy this slicer from 450 euros and I'm complaining at a really high level here. I'm convinced that people who mainly use the main camera anyway, don't play the most technically demanding games and don't have a curved display phobia will be absolutely happy with this smartphone.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is a good smartphone, even a really good one. The AMOLED display completely convinces me, as does the main camera with 200 MP and the fast charging with 120 W. The smartphone is prettier—for my taste—than many other inexpensive smartphones and also has a high-quality finish. Another positive aspect is that you will be provided with security updates for up to four years, although Android 13, which is no longer quite as fresh as it used to be, leaves a somewhat bland aftertaste. I would like to say one thing about the points of criticism: Yes, I am grumbling about the fact that there is no wireless charging, no telephoto camera and the ultra-wide-angle camera is rather "average". But don't forget that you can buy this slicer from 450 euros and I'm complaining at a really high level here. I'm convinced that people who mainly use the main camera anyway, don't play the most technically demanding games and don't have a curved display phobia will be absolutely happy with this smartphone.

The lightning-quick 120W charging is also a phenomenal feature and we do appreciate the inclusion of a 120W charger in a world where they are fast disappearing from packages. However, we weren't quite as pleased with the camera. The lossless zoom feature from the massive 200MP resolution is truly neat but there were notable color issues plaguing all the cameras on the device. The good news is that it's fixable and we hope the company adjusts things based on the feedback provided here as the camera hardware is otherwise quite capable.

Le Redmi Note 13 Pro, dans cette déclinaison 4G, figure parmi les meilleurs représentants du milieu de gamme. Proposé à prix plancher, il offre des prestations hors du commun. Que l’on parle de son écran aux couleurs fidèles et à la luminosité importante, ou de son autonomie dépassant les 12h dans le protocole de test du Labo Fnac. Le mobile s’illustre encore dans ses capacités photographiques. Un domaine dans lequel il est particulièrement à l’aise, quelle que soit la focale utilisée. On trouvera davantage à redire au chapitre des performances. Le Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G n’est pas un smartphone conçu pour être le plus véloce du marché. Reste que ses autres qualités occultent facilement ce point.

On peut féliciter Xiaomi de ne pas avoir abandonné les clients qui sont attachés à la 4G - ou qui n'ont pas besoin de la 5G - mais l'absence d'un SoC moderne fait que son Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G a l'air d'un smartphone d'entrée de gamme, sans que cela soit compensé par une meilleure autonomie. En fin de compte, sa proposition de valeur repose entièrement sur son objectif de 200 MP, puisque l'entreprise propose le même smartphone avec un objectif de 64 MP pour les deux tiers du prix. Certains diront que les performances sont suffisantes avec un vieux SoC milieu de gamme, mais lorsqu'il est possible d'obtenir plus de 33% d'autonomie supplémentaire en plus de tripler les performances dans les tâches lourdes dans des conditions similaires, il est difficile de recommander le Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. Le Redmi Note 13 5G, moins cher, offre des performances comparables (avec une puissance de jeu légèrement supérieure) et une qualité photo proche. Le Note 13 Pro 5G, plus cher, offre de meilleures performances générales et un meilleur écran.

It’s a shame to end on that sour note, because my view is that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro is the best of the latest Redmi bunch. Yes, its video performance is weak and its gaming output may be lesser than the Pro Plus model, but it inherits most of the positives at a far more competitive price. £339 is superb value: you lose a lot by paying £60 less for the non-Pro version, and don’t gain that much by paying an extra £110 for the Pro Plus. You might still be better off going for the Pixel 6a for the bloat-free and readily updated OS, but as far as new releases go, this is right up there with the Nothing Phone (2a). And given we gave that five stars, that’s high praise indeed.

The cameras, for the most part, are good. However, the additional modules are weaker, and this is noticeable in some modes. Among the drawbacks, the only thing to highlight is perhaps the material of the body, which collects fingerprints, smudges, and dust quite noticeably. If choosing between these two models, in my opinion, the clear leader is the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G.

It is no coincidence that there are five phones in the Redmi Note 13 series, each with carefully tuned characteristics to take on the competition. The Redmi Note 13 Pro in particular lacks 5G, a feature many people don't really need, and its processor is not the fastest around, but it is able to deliver in other areas that could be more important. The capable 200MP main camera is the main selling point, and so is the very fast charging, the rich contents of the box, as well as beloved features from the recent past like microSD expandable storage and 3.5mm headphone jack. We take issue with the MIUI software and how it can cripple push notifications for some apps, but for all else, this device is very good value for the money.

Avec le Redmi Note 13, Xiaomi améliore sa copie de l’an dernier et grapille quelques points. Il conserve ses acquis avec un très bon écran, une prise en main confortable et une autonomie très correcte pour son prix. Il se met à la page mais conserve malheureusement quelques défauts de son prédécesseurs. Son processeur manque un poil de pugnacité et le volet photo reste très en retrait. Néanmoins, face à la concurrence, à commencer par celle de l’autre marque de Xiaomi Poco mais aussi de Realme qui revient avec son C67, il reste un mobile très appréciable… en attendant de voir ce dont sont capables les nouveaux Samsung Galaxy A qui ne devraient pas tarder à arriver. Le Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 se distingue par son excellent écran Amoled lumineux, une ergonomie soignée avec de bonnes finitions, et une autonomie robuste qui assure plus d'une journée d'utilisation.

Among the advantages, we can highlight the excellent AMOLED display, stylish exterior design, decent level of performance, and battery life. The cameras are also good for this price range. As for the drawbacks, the glossy material of the body stands out. It’s a bit of a mixed bag – it looks beautiful and stylish, but from a practical standpoint, it’s not ideal, as fingerprints, dust, and smudges tend to accumulate on the body (or its individual parts).

Xiaomi’s Redmi smartphones have always been a great choice for people on a budget. If they’re within your budget, and you’re not looking to spend too much on a phone, these two devices are solid choices. The 5G model is the better phone of the two, though. I’m not saying that just because it supports 5G connectivity. The camera performance is slightly better, the performance in general is better, and I even liked the case it comes with the phone a bit more. So, if you have the option to get the 5G model over the 4G one, go for it. Both of them are worth the money, though, I’d say.

The Redmi Note 13 5G covers a lot of bases for £279, and there have been a couple of subtle but welcome design improvements over previous models. I still rate its 120Hz OLED display quite highly, too. On the other hand, its battery life appears to have taken a slight step back, while Xiaomi’s new HyperOS UI is hardly the MIUI upgrade we were hoping for. The choice of processor might represent a modest upgrade, meanwhile, but you can get faster performance for less money elsewhere. Together with a weirdly inconsistent camera setup, the Redmi Note 13 5G doesn’t feel like it’s on quite so solid ground as some of its predecessors. It’s a good phone, but there’s better value to be found elsewhere without looking very far.

However, for one reason or another, it seems Xiaomi made too many compromises with the specs sheet for its own good. We don't get why there are no stereo speakers. The same goes for HDR video support on the display. We can't quite get over the 1080p video capture cap as well. Having tested the phone extensively, we can't say we are totally satisfied with its battery endurance either. The thing is that Xiaomi appears to be working against itself in this particular instance. As we mentioned, you could easily get something like Xiaomi's own Poco X6 and enjoy a much more rounded experience. All things considered, the Redmi Note 13 is not a bad phone in any particular way but is arguably not the best value package at its price point.

The Redmi Note 13 5G offers modest upgrades without pushing any boundaries. It does face a fair bit of competition in its segment. If your priority lies with a clean Android experience for example, Motorola’s Moto G54 (review) and OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite (review) might seem better options. For cameras, there are some areas where the Redmi Note 13 offers reliable performance, but the Realme 11 5G (review) can offer relatively better results. All said and done, the Redmi Note 13 5G comes across as a solid choice if you value a long-lasting battery, a tall display, reliable performance (including gaming), and relatively fast charging. While design preferences are subjective, I find it to my satisfaction as well.

Comparing Xiaomi's Redmi Note 13 5G vs the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and that most premium Pro Plus global smartphone, to see how the camera, battery life etc stacks up. I've already reviewed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G, and the regular Pro - check back soon for my coverage of the most budget mobile! Now, in some ways these phones are all massively different, starting with the cameras. In our side-by-side test the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G served up the most natural colours. Both Pros are also a step up for low light and HDR shots. However, any kind of motion means blurry photos! Performance also improves as you upgrade from the Redmi Note 13 5G up to the Pro and Pro Plus models. The regular can cope with PubG etc but you'll need a Xiaomi Pro to play Genshin Impact. Battery life is excellent on all three Xiaomi smartphones, but the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and that Plus model boost the charging speeds. And you've also got some bonuses like full water resistance on the Note 13 Pro Plus 5G, great news at this budget phone price.

When you draw the bottom line, the Redmi Note 13 5G comes up as a well balanced phone with solid performance, decent camera quality and very good battery life, all at a reasonable price. The quirky MIUI software, however, seems like the big stumbling block, and we specifically mean the way it kills background apps and fails to deliver push notifications on time for some apps. This issue has been around for nearly a decade, and we have no idea why it's not fixed yet. If you can live with that, the Redmi Note 13 5G seems like a pretty good choice.

I love my job. I really do! But you simply shouldn't expect me to paint a smartphone like the Redmi Note 13 5G in glowing terms for your mind's eye and pretend that I'm enthusiastically clicking my tongue in the face of an amazing piece of innovative engineering. Instead, the box, which is really neat, can be described with three words: "cheap, generic, good". This is because Xiaomi has once again assembled a smartphone that is easily sufficient for 95 percent of all smartphone users, looks nice, and is also inexpensive with a price tag starting at €279. Honestly speaking, what else should Xiaomi do? For just under €300, you get a smartphone with a great display and decent battery life that has a good camera and an okay processor on board. To be honest, I would have liked to see at least Android 14 onboard and maybe little things like stereo speakers or Wi-Fi 6 support. However, you know what? The Redmi Note 13 Ultra 5G still gets four stars from me. This is because it simply doesn't make any significant mistakes and is a really great, everyday smartphone.

Xiaomi:

Seuls les vieux jeux peuvent tourner de façon fluide sur ces ordinateurs (S'ils ne sont pas trop gourmands en ressources). Les coeurs à mémoire partagée de cette catégorie ont l'avantage d'être moins chaud et moins gourmand en énergie. Pour le bureau, internet, l'édition de photos, et le montage vidéo ces cartes graphiques n'ont aucune restrictions.

Qualcomm Adreno 610:

ARM Mali-G57 MP2:

Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

Qualcomm Adreno 710:

La plupart des jeux pas trop demandants actuels peuvent tourner de façon fluide. soyez prêts à endurer un rendu graphique assez moche à cause de la basse résolution et des détails au minimum. Par ailleurs ces cartes sont suffisantes pour un travail de bureau et le visionnage de vidéos (pas évident pour la vidéo HD).

ARM Mali-G610 MP4:

Qualcomm Snapdragon:

SD 685: SoC ARM rapide de milieu de gamme avec 8 cœurs CPU Kryo 265 (quatre cœurs ARM Cortex-A73 rapides à 2,8 GHz en cluster et quatre cœurs ARM Cortex-A53 économes en énergie à 1,9 GHz) et un GPU Adreno 610 plutôt lent. Fabriqué en 6 nm, il offre, selon Qualcomm, environ 15 % de performances supplémentaires au niveau du CPU et 10 % de performances supplémentaires au niveau du GPU par rapport à l'ancien SD680 (grâce à des vitesses d'horloge plus élevées).

SD 7s Gen 2: SoC de milieu de gamme avec 8 cœurs Kryo (4x ARM Cortex-A78 2,4 GHz, 4x ARM Cortex A55 1,95 GHz) et un modem 5G (jusqu'à 2900 Mbps en téléchargement). La puce est fabriquée à l'aide du processus moderne 4nm.

Mediatek :

Dimensity 7200: Le Dimensity 7200-Ultra est un processeur de milieu de gamme avec modem 5G intégré. La section CPU intègre deux cœurs ARM Cortex-A715 rapides pouvant atteindre 2,8 GHz et six cœurs de puissance Cortex-A510 pouvant atteindre 2 GHz.

Dimensity 6080: Le Dimensity 6080 est un processeur de milieu de gamme inférieur avec modem 5G intégré. La partie CPU intègre deux cœurs ARM Cortex-A76 rapides pouvant atteindre 2,4 GHz et six cœurs de puissance Cortex-A55 pouvant atteindre 2 GHz. Le 6080 est techniquement similaire à l'ancien Dimensity 700.

Mediatek Mediatek:

Helio G99:

SoC octa-core basé sur ARM avec 2x gros cœurs ARM Cortex-A76 et 6x petits cœurs ARM Cortex-A55 économes en énergie. Le tout cadencé à 2,2 GHz. Il intègre un modem LTE Cat-13 (4G) et une carte graphique ARM Mali-G57 MP2. Par rapport à l'ancien Helio G96, le G99 est fabriqué selon le processus plus récent de 6 nm et affiche des fréquences plus élevées.
