L'Aorus 15G XB permet de faire tourner fluidement tous les jeux récents sur son écran mat de 15,6 pouces (240 Hz, FHD, IGZO). Le reste de l'équipement est également bon : SSD NVMe, 16 Go de RAM (mode double canal), clavier mécanique, et port Thunderbolt 3.
L'Aorus 15G XB permet de faire tourner fluidement tous les jeux récents sur son écran mat de 15,6 pouces (240 Hz, FHD, IGZO). Le reste de l'équipement est également bon : SSD NVMe, 16 Go de RAM (mode double canal), clavier mécanique, et port Thunderbolt 3.

Generally speaking, my only major gripe with the unit boils down to its lackluster speakers, other than the less-than-stellar gaming performance on its battery, which is typical for laptops anyways. The sound is somewhat muffled, and the tonal range seems a bit limited. While serviceable, this is another unit where a pair of nice headphones will be a massive upgrade, but that too is to be expected. It is due to the limited space in a laptop to begin with, and the size of laptop speakers and how they are set up will never have the sound quality compare to a nice set of headphones or proper speakers. There is also the webcam—it is a 720p option with terrible image quality compared to dedicated units. At the end of the day, it feels tacked on in order to check off a box on the feature list. It does at least include a sliding cover as a privacy measure, which is a nice touch.

L'Aorus 15G de Gigabyte a été mis à jour avec la nouvelle unité graphique RTX 3070. Malheureusement, le fabricant semble avoir fait quelques coupes à la suite de cette mise à jour, car plusieurs fonctionnalités du modèle de l'année dernière ne sont plus incluses. Les nouvelles performances graphiques peuvent-elles compenser ces omissions ou le prédécesseur pourrait-il en fait être le meilleur choix ?
L'Aorus 15G de Gigabyte a été mis à jour avec la nouvelle unité graphique RTX 3070. However, it does suffer from an patchy 1/0 option, an underwhelming keyboard and a higher price than similarly specified rivals. Indeed, it’s not tricky to find RTX 3070 laptops for less money, and sometimes with better AMD CPUs. That said, that price gets you a decent screen, solid build quality and low-noise operation. It could be cheaper, but it’s a well-built laptop if you can afford it.

I would have preferred a configuration with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage over this, but I guess GIGABYTE thinks that people appreciate more RAM over storage. With that said, you can always drop in another M.2 SSD into the GIGABYTE AORUS 15G XC to upgrade the storage, versus having to dispose of two sticks of memory because you had to upgrade the memory..

Before we start we have to say something about the battery life. No matter what we did, we couldn’t get anywhere near the advertised 8 hours. We tried everything from switching to the integrated graphics only to setting the display at 60Hz and using every single battery-saving option. Given the fact that other reviews state screen on times between four and eight hours, we are keen to believe that something was wrong with our unit. With that said, we had a retail unit bought from a store, which means other users might be getting similar issues.

Ces cartes graphiques de milieu de gamme peuvent faire tourner tout les jeux récents de façon fluide. Les jeux gourmands ne peuvent être joués qu'avec les détails réglés sur moyen.

Carte graphique haut de gamme pour ordinateur portable basée sur la puce Ampere GA106 avec 3072 cœurs. Disponible en différentes versions avec un TDP de 60 à 115 Watt.
Ces cartes graphiques devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux récents (avec quelques exceptions) en haute résolution avec un bon niveau de détail.

Sur l'architecture Coffee Lake, processeur pour ordinateurs portables gros et lourds. Il intègre huit cœurs de processeur cadencés entre 2,3 et 5,1 GHz (tous les 8 cœurs jusqu'à 4,3 GHz) qui prennent en charge l'HyperThreading. Fabriqué selon un procédé amélioré de 14 nm (14nm++).
i7-10870H:
Processeur basé sur Coffee Lake pour les ordinateurs portables lourds et volumineux. Il intègre huit cœurs de processeur cadencés de 2,2 à 5 GHz (les 8 cœurs jusqu'à 4,2 GHz) qui prennent en charge l'HyperThreading. Fabriqué sur le processus Intel 14 nm de troisième génération.
