Courte critique de l'ultraportable Asus ZenBook UX3430UN (i5-8250U, MX150, 256 GB SSD)

Portable de bureau exemplaire avec des ambitions pour le jeu. Le nouveau ZenBook rassemble dans un même appareil l’essence même de ce que souhaitent les utilisateurs professionnels, tout en étant invitant à jouer à quelques jeux grâce à sa GeForce MX150. Asus semble avoir réussi à cet exercice d’équilibriste, là où beaucoup d’autres ont échoué. Si l’on peut se plaindre de quelques éléments, ce n’est qu’en étant très exigeants.

L’Asus ZenBook UX3430UN est la synthèse réussie de l’ultraportable de bureau et de la machine de jeu occasionnelle, avec seulement une légère réduction des performances.

 

Bien que le nouveau ZenBook UX3430UN n’appartienne pas nécessairement à la même catégorie que les autres 14 pouces fins et léger, vous n’aurez pas à vous soucier de ventilateurs bruyants ou d’une chauffe excessive. Le Zenbook est un appareil silencieux et à la chauffe maîtrisée, dont nous apprécions également le châssis épuré et robuste.

En plus de ce fonctionnement silencieux, Asus propose un appareil avec d’honnêtes périphériques d’entrée et de solides fonctionnalités de sécurité, autant d’éléments importants pour les professionnels. En ce qui concerne l’autonomie et notre test Wifi réaliste, nous aurions préféré que l’appareil tienne une dizaine d’heures, plutôt que huit. Et si son écran est bon, quelques éléments l’empêchent d’être adapté au traitement professionnel des images. Les autres points négatifs sont insignifiants, ce qui est reflété par le superbe score de 88/100.

L’Asus ZenBook UX3430UN est un appareil que nous recommandons de tout cœur, et tout particulièrement par rapport à son prédécesseur le ZenBook UX3430UQ. Le nouveau ZenBook UX3430UN possède des composants bien plus puissants, sans posséder de grosses lacunes.
