Performances multicoeur en hausse. Les cœurs Zen+ améliorés des APU Raven Ridge promettent une faible consommation tout en étant un peu plus puissants que leurs prédécesseurs. Au premier abord, le HP ProBook devrait profiter de ces améliorations, ce qui nous donne une bonne raison de vérifier comment le portable pro se comporte face à ses prédécesseurs. Le passage à l’architecture Zen+ amène beaucoup d’améliorations, en premier lieu en ce qui concerne les performances multicœur. L’autonomie a également été améliorée, bien que le ProBook 455R G6 ait la même batterie que son prédécesseur. Nous recommandons d’ajouter de la RAM pour passer en mode double canal, ce qui permettra à l’appareil d’utiliser tout le potentiel de sa carte graphique.

Le passage à l’architecture Zen+ a amélioré l’autonomie et les performances, rendant le ProBook 455R G6 intéressant par rapport à son prédécesseur.

Cependant, notre modèle ne peut tirer pleinement profit de son processeur AMD, surtout en cas de sollicitations soutenues. De plus, alors que l’écran est suffisamment bon pour un portable de bureau, nous aurions apprécié que la luminosité maximale soit plus élevée. De même, les 12 mois de garantie semblent un peu mesquins. Au final, nous pouvons fermer les yeux sur ces défauts, vu le faible prix du ProBook 455R G6.
