Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

Le portable de 14 pouces de Hewlett Packard est équipé d’un APU AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, avec plus de puissance que nécessaire pour les tâches de bureautique et Internet, et d’un GPU Vega 8 qui propose des performances bien plus élevées que son homologue Intel UHD Graphics 620, ce qui est très bénéfique pour les logiciels exigeants en performances graphiques et pour le jeu. Malheureusement, le ventilateur fait un son aigu gênant.

L’appareil paraît réactif grâce à son SSD NVMe M.2 2280, et peut être équipé d’un disque dur supplémentaire de 2,5 pouces. La coque inférieure doit être enlevée pour accéder aux deux emplacements de stockage - une tâche plutôt simple. Le clavier rétroéclairé est bon. C’est l’autonomie cependant qui est à la traîne, un portable de 14 pouces se devant de faire mieux.

Hewlett Packard ne se simplifie pas la tâche avec son choix d’écran pour le ProBook.
