EN→FRAt Rs 1,24,999, the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL isn’t built for gaming or raw performance needs. Instead, it aims to deliver a well-rounded experience and is more than capable of handling just about everything else. While the battery life and charging time may occasionally feel a bit underwhelming, every other aspect of the phone—its design, software, speakers, haptics, display, and cameras—lives up to flagship standards.

EN→FROverall, Pixel 10 Pro XL is the best large-screen smartphone I’ve tested in 2025, with premium quality hardware, slick software and an outstanding camera system. Not forgetting those magnificent magnets. You may not need any of the additional features and specs that either Pro model brings to the table. But I most certainly welcome all the extras - the only thing that Pixel 10 Pro XL doesn’t do is fold. In my opinion, it’s well worth the investment.

EN→FROverall, the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL isn't just the bigger device in the Pixel 10 series. It's also the one to get if you're a gamer and photographer. The bigger screen and vapour chamber ensure good gaming performance for the most demanding games. In addition, the cameras on the Pixel 10 Pro XL are very versatile and can handle both macro and super zoom shots superbly. We do have to note that the Super Res Zoom at 100x can be a bit wonky at times, but perhaps this might improve with further updates. However, due to many of the standout features like Magic Cue and Ask Photos not really being available, the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL still feels like a work in progress. Still, with 7 years of updates, we fully expect Google to patch those issues and improve the phone as time goes by.

EN→FRThe Google Pixel 10 Pro XL succeeds as an AI-focused smartphone that prioritises computational capabilities over raw performance metrics. For users deeply integrated into Google's ecosystem who value clean Android experiences, Gemini integration, and cutting-edge AI features, this device offers compelling advantages. The Rs 1,24,999 price point offers a refined build quality, improved camera processing and comprehensive AI feature set to create a distinctly Google experience that stands apart from traditional flagship approaches. Seven years of guaranteed updates provide excellent long-term value, while features like Camera Coach and Pro Res zoom, despite their limitations, showcase Google's innovative approach to smartphone photography.

EN→FRAt RM5,999 for the 256GB model, the Pixel 10 Pro XL sits in a competitive flagship bracket. This is especially when rivals offer stronger performance and faster charging at similar or even lower prices. While it improves upon its predecessor in some areas, particularly with new AI-driven features and excellent battery life, this year’s Pro XL remains hampered by middling performance that prevents it from being a true all-rounder. Regardless, those seeking a clean Android experience, superior cameras and a device free from third-party clutter, the Pixel 10 Pro XL is still an appealing option. And don’t forget, it offer a very distinct design. But if raw performance or gaming is your priority, better alternatives exist at this price point.

EN→FRWhile competitors wage war over megapixels and charging watts, Google has consistently argued that the smartest phone, not just the strongest, wins the day. The Pixel 10 Pro XL arrives as the latest and most potent expression of that philosophy. There’s something both comforting and slightly frustrating about picking up the Pixel 10 Pro XL. At first glance, it looks like last year’s Pixel 9 Pro XL put on a new jacket and called it a day. Same visor-bar camera, same curves, same silhouette you can now spot from across a café. Only when you hold it do you realise it’s heavier and denser in the hand. This year, the revolution isn’t on the outside. It’s hiding inside, in the form of the brand-new Tensor G5.

EN→FRThe Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, released in August 2025, is a powerful and modern flagship phone built to deliver top-tier performance across everyday tasks, gaming, and photography. It has a large 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3300 nits peak brightness, making it smooth and clear even under bright sunlight. It’s 1344 × 2992 resolution delivers ~486 ppi density, ensuring sharp visuals. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with Mohs level 4 scratch resistance. The body has a glass front and back with an aluminum frame, while an IP68 rating guarantees water and dust resistance. Under the hood, it’s powered by Google’s own fast 3nm Tensor G5 processor. Alongside this, with an octa-core CPU and the PowerVR DXT-48-1536 GPU, the Pixel 10 Pro XL handles demanding tasks with ease.

EN→FRHonestly, after spending real time with the Pixel 10 Pro XL, it’s got this cool mix of brains and photo magic that just pulls you in. Everyday shots look better than they should, the battery survives my hectic schedule, and that 6.8-inch display is basically a pocket movie theater. The AI tools help in subtle, useful ways without trying too hard. But then come the bumps; random stutters while scrolling, portraits locked to 2x zoom, and a price tag that feels a bit too ambitious for the flaws it carries. It’s like Google’s holding back on what could be even better. Still, in a sea of flashy flagships, this one is the smart, no-nonsense pick. Google’s getting so close to nailing it. This version shows they’re almost there, just needs a bit more polish.

EN→FRThe Pixel 10 Pro XL is available in a single 256GB storage model, priced at Rs. 124,999 in India. This is particularly concerning since it doesn't support storage expansion, meaning you will have to buy more Google One cloud storage—a win for Google, again. Considering that top-end Android smartphones offer multiple storage options, it is slightly disappointing to see Google introduce only one storage model to India. And, when you consider the Pixel 9 Pro XL, which was launched last year with a 512GB storage option. Alright, with prices aside, does the new Google Pixel 10 Pro XL make a great premium smartphone? The answer isn't simple yes or no. It is a yes if you're not a gamer and don't rely on your smartphone for hardcore editing (photos and videos) like a content creator.

EN→FRThe Pixel 10 Pro XL is a true superphone in size, price and capability. If you like what Google’s been doing with 6.3in smartphones but want everything bigger, this is the model to get. The camera is one of the very best, the screen is great and the software, including Google’s most cutting-edge AI features, is top notch. The addition of Qi2.2 support speeds up wireless charging, but more helpfully opens up a world of magnetic accessories including grips to make the big phone easier to hold. The Pixel feels responsive but it isn’t a dramatic upgrade on last year’s 9 Pro XL model. When it comes to raw power, particularly for games, the Pixel falls short against rivals such as the Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra, which remains the superphone to beat.

EN→FRGoogle might not have the flashiest hardware updates, but there’s no denying that it put painstaking effort into elevating software features on the Pixel 10 series. Despite AI gimmicks like Veo 3’s AI video generation, Google’s general usability upgrades improve user experiences. It goes beyond the perks you see on other Android brands with cookie-cutter parts. Some areas, like Magic Cue, are still a work-in-progress, but the time-tested fundamentals like photography features (e.g. Camera Coach) are ready right out of the box. In terms of readability, the device adapts luminance effectively across all tested conditions. Outdoors, under the most challenging lighting, it activates momentarily High Brightness Mode and reaches a peak luminance of 3013 cd/m², placing it among the best performers for outdoor visibility, even under intense sunlight. Color is where the device truly excels, ranking first in our database for this criterion. Whether in default or faithful color modes, rendering remained both accurate and pleasing in every situation. EN→FRThe Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL might not boast the kind of headline specs that look set to redefine mobile photography, but that’s never really been Google’s game. Instead, what you get here is consistency – reliable camera performance time after time, now enhanced by meaningful upgrades like a more effective 100x super-res zoom, the helpful new camera coach, and a growing suite of clever AI editing tools. It isn’t flawless. Video capture still trails behind the best in class, with middling quality and an over-reliance on AI upscaling that feels like a stopgap rather than a true breakthrough. EN→FRFor the cheapest variant of the biggest member of the Pixel 10 line, the Pixel 10 Pro XL with 256GB will set you back for RM5,999 – which is honestly not a good deal when phones like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, with the same storage configuration, can be had for nearly a thousand ringgit less (and you get an S Pen on top of that). If you already own the Pixel 9 from last year, this isn’t that big of an improvement to warrant the device upgrade, so keep what you have for another generation at least.

EN→FRThere’s another area where the Pixel 10 Pro XL is at a considerable disadvantage: the size. It measures the same 8.5mm thickness as the Pixel 9 Pro XL, but at 232 grams, it is 11 grams heavier at a time when smartphones are getting thinner. Phones like the iPhone Air, Galaxy S25 Edge, and Galaxy Z Fold 7 have conditioned us to desire thinner and lighter phones, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL is the opposite of this: it’s both thicker and considerably heavier than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be thinner yet. Yes, the Pixel 10 Pro XL and Galaxy S25 Ultra are the same height — and Google’s phone is 1mm narrower — but the smaller bezels on the Samsung make it feel more premium. EN→FRThis is a pretty easy question to answer – if you have a Pixel 9 Pro or 9 Pro XL, I don’t think you need to upgrade. The changes here aren’t meaningful enough for you to take the cash hit and upgrade. And as far as we know, so much of the AI stuff will come to the 9 series at some point. You would really just be upgrading to get Qi2, a full 7 years of updates, and Pro Res Zoom. While that stuff is awesome, ehhhhhh, that’s not much. But for you folks with anything older than a Pixel 9 series, like a Pixel 8 and below, these will be worth a look. The hardware is such a major improvement, the cameras might be too, performance will be better than those old Tensor units, and you get the promise of more AI as it comes out. And yeah, magnets are awesome.

The Tensor G5 finally addresses the heat and efficiency issues that plagued older Tensors, although it doesn’t match the raw performance offered by Qualcomm, MediaTek, and Apple. The AI features, from Pixel Journal to Magic Cue, point to where smartphones are headed. Some of these ideas still feel half-baked, but when they work, they’re genuinely useful. The camera system is reliable, though not the clear winner anymore, and the design changes are so minimal you may struggle to spot them.

EN→FRThe Pixel series has always been one of my favorite phones for a variety of reasons. Still, the hardware (and to some degree, performance) often lagged behind the Samsung and Apple competition. Google focused on software and cameras more so than hardware, and that's perfectly fine. Google took things to a new level with the Pixel 9 Pro, and now, with the Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL, I can confidently say that this is Google's most complete phone to date. More so than an iPhone, it just works, and works great. The Google Pixel 10 Pro has an excellent premium design, capable and customizable software, thoughtful AI features that actually add utility instead of gimmicks, and is as well-rounded as it gets. The Pixel 10 Pro XL offers impressive natural looking photos and fantastic low light performance, while the OnePlus 13 produces some serious eye candy. Gamers will be more tempted by the 8 Elite performance of Google's rival.

EN→FRThe Pixel 10 Pro XL is a brilliant phone, yet I’m about to say it’s probably not the one to buy. When I decided to wait a while before fully reviewing it, giving me enough time to use it for at least two weeks, I was already wondering why I’d get it over the Pixel 10 Pro. Yes, the screen is bigger and the battery has a tiny bit more capacity, but the software, performance, and camera are all the same. As mentioned, I spent plenty of time with the Pixel 9 Pro, and during my time with the Pixel 10 Pro XL, I haven’t really felt I greatly benefited from the additional screen size. To be clear, it’s not a downside, and the 10 Pro XL’s excellent balance and weight distribution means it’s not a bother ergonomically either, but I do question if it’s worth an extra $200.

EN→FRThe Pixel 10 Pro XL is essentially the Pixel 10 Pro made bigger. That means you get the same strengths: clean software, reliable cameras, seven years of updates, and some genuinely useful AI tools. The trade-off is a higher price and a heavier body. If you’re someone who values a large, bright display for streaming or productivity, and you want battery life that won’t leave you anxious in the evening, the XL is the obvious pick. On the other hand, if you’d prefer something easier to handle or are looking to save a few hundred euro, the smaller Pixel 10 Pro might be more sensible. Either way, the Pixel 10 series feels mature, polished, and dependable. The XL simply stretches those qualities onto the largest canvas possible.

EN→FRNow the big question, should you buy the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL? I think if you own a Pixel 9 Pro or even a Pixel 8 Pro, it’s not worth upgrading. But if you’re coming from a Pixel 7 series, then it’s worth it. There’s not a lot of differences from the Pixel 9 Pro to the Pixel 10 Pro, but when you look at the Pixel 7 Pro to the Pixel 10 Pro, there’s some huge differences, especially in the processor and modem. Phones don’t see huge year-over-year upgrades anymore, and that’s because the segment is pretty mature these days. So we will likely never see gigantic changes year-over-year, except maybe with foldables or rollables.

EN→FRFor a phone like Pixel, it is tough going. That is because it is playing in a market and segment where the iPhone reigns supreme. And while there are areas where the Pixel 10 Pro XL beats the mighty Apple, such as usable AI and camera performance, overall the going is still little difficult for the Google phone. It is getting near to the top but is not there yet. But if you look at the Pixel 10 Pro XL as the top Android phone, I feel it is at a stage where I can give it a node over others. For this reason or that, I always find an ultra-premium Rs 1 lakh Android phone difficult to recommend. But if there is one Android phone I must then that has to be the Pixel 10 Pro XL. It has superb hardware, it is perfectly crafted, and it has a set of killer cameras. Display, speakers, network performance are second to none.

EN→FRWith prices starting at S$1,739, Google’s latest and largest flagship comes in at a roughly S$200 price bump compared to its predecessor, and almost S$300 more than its regular Pro counterpart. Considering the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL’s differences compared to the regular Pro variant are limited to just having a bigger screen, higher resolution, better battery capacity and a larger base storage space of 256GB instead of 128GB, there isn’t much reason to get this variant over the latter, apart from those looking for the beefiest option of Google’s latest flagship trio.

EN→FRThe question then becomes – should you buy the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL? I think it depnds on you. Again, anyone looking to get this phone is not a heavy mobile gamer – and it’s going to be the perfect phone for you. The way Google made this phone is to make it so simple to the point that even a toddler can shoot some beautiful pics with it since it’s just a point and click camera. The battery life is actually on par with the others in the market right now, and it also has Google’s best features built-in. At the price of RM5,999 though – it’s still an amazing phone despite the high price tag.

EN→FRSome might call it boring, owed to its limited upgrades this generation. But I think that's to look at this brilliant phone too negatively. It's got star power, representing the best of what Android can offer right now. There's ample power, decent battery life, the now-established design continues to impress, as does the quality and completeness of the cameras offering. As checklists go, Google's got big ticks in all the important ones. I'd take it over an iPhone any day of the week. Overall, the Pixel 10 Pro XL is a stunner, showing Google's continuing rise up the ranks. I don't foresee this handset willingly leaving my pocket for some time to come, as it's just that good – and will only get better with Google's 7 years of security, software and feature drops in the future.

EN→FROf the entire Pixel 10 series, the Pro XL has the least egregious battery life, the largest display and the fastest version of the new Pixelsnap wireless charging. It also has the highest asking price, however, which is further exacerbated by the removal of the cheaper 128GB variant. As such, I’m sticking with calling the Pixel 10 the best of this year’s selection. It’s a broadly similar experience for a much cheaper price. The Pixel 10 Pro XL has some quality to it, but between the relatively few upgrades and the battery life issues, it doesn’t feel like particularly good value for money. If you want the best Android flagship around, and aren’t that fussed by the magnets, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is right there.

EN→FRGoogle's made a few but effective upgrades to the Pixel 10 Pro XL. It's a masterclass in efficiency, changing and improving just enough to stay amongst the top of the pack in most areas. The display's brightness is unmatched, and the cameras, ultrawide perhaps aside, offer a balanced, natural look that I can see a lot of people liking. It's unfortunate that the Pixel 10 series is still the lowest powered of the flagship phones on sale today, and lags behind its main rivals on battery efficiency. Hopefully access to Google's latest AI tools makes up for that for anyone who decides to take the plunge, although perhaps give it a couple of months if this is your primary reason. Hopefully by then, the seemingly incomplete Magic Cue and the “Preview” version of Camera Coach will have been made whole.

EN→FRNow that we can look back at 10 generations of devices, Google’s overarching strategy is more convincing than ever. For the Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL, the company has combined iterative hardware upgrades with a solid (and attractive) design while its software and AI continues to outpace its rivals. Even though Magic Cue doesn’t work for everything and is limited to a handful of first-party apps, it feels like the omniscient computers from sci-fi shows and movies have finally been beamed into a device to help us organize our lives. Then you tack on support for high-res portraits and an AI-powered zoom that produces results better than the base optics ever could on their own and you get what might be the most versatile mobile cameras around.

EN→FRLike the smaller Pixel 10 Pro, I absolutely love the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Its larger screen looks excellent, and the larger battery could come in handy for those who find themselves needing to charge before the end of the day on a regular basis. Alas, it's still down to personal preference as to whether or not you should opt for the Pixel 10 Pro or the Pixel 10 Pro XL. The larger phone is $200 more expensive, and given the fact that everything else about the two phones is exactly the same, you'll have to decide for yourself whether or not the extra screen real estate is worth that cash. Whether you choose the Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro XL, however, you're getting what I consider to be the best Android phone you can buy right now.

EN→FRUnlike the hullabaloo surrounding the iPhone X, which boasted several milestones like an OLED screen and the introduction of Face ID, the 10th iteration of Google's Pixel smartphones doesn't move the needle. Despite the celebrity-packed Made by Google event that introduced the new Pixel 10 smartphones, Google didn't show off any groundbreaking tech. The phones themselves are more incremental than radical. though that says more about current smartphones than anything. I have been using the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL for just under a week. It's a fine smartphone, packed with even more AI, and looks right at home next to the Galaxys and the iPhones. Which is maybe the point. The new Pixelsnap magnetic wireless charging feature (Google's take on MagSafe) brings parity with the iPhone, and may even tempt some iPhone users to switch.

EN→FRThe Google Pixel 10 Pro XL (and the rest of the Pixel 10 series) represents the company's most intense focus on artificial intelligence features in any device yet. But if you're not excited about AI, don't worry, Google Pixel 10 (and the Pro models) are worth a look even if you deactivate and disable every bit of AI, top to bottom. While Google's promotion of these devices will inevitably focus on AI — that's hype, at the moment — really, the whole Pixel 10 series has excellent-enough hardware and software to match the devices' prices. In the photos in this review, you'll see that the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL and its two smaller relatives look a lot like one another. Set in a row, you'll see a difference in luster between the Pro and non-Pro, and you'll see a significant difference in the size of the display in the XL device. But they're all Google Pixel 10 devices — and they all offer the same sort of guarantee when it comes to longevity in both software* and hardware.

EN→FROK, so what are the big upgrades here? A notably more powerful processor, and a truly impressive 100x zoom. Probably a couple of exclusive AI features, too. We'd suggest to hold off on the pre-order right now to see final results after all the benchmarks and reviews have been completed. And also, keep an eye on Android 16 updates for the Pixel 9 line. The Pixel 10 Pro XL is not that much different than the Pixel 9 Pro XL. And, if the latter gets the most features of Android 16 — you may be able to get away with purchasing (or keeping) the older model! That said, the Jade Pixel 10 Pro XL looks lovely...

EN→FRThis year’s Pro XL Pixel doesn’t stray far from the formula set out by the last one – but still manages to improve on it in all the right places. Android 16 feels modern without alienating fans of the old look, Qi2 magnetic charging is a welcome (if overdue) addition that’ll tempt iPhone owners thinking of making the switch, and the Gemini upgrades are genuinely useful. Even AI skeptics will have to admit Camera Coach is an excellent showcase of the tech, and really puts the phone’s rear lens trio to good use. I do think Google’s algorithm-led photography lacks some of the emotive charm rival phones are able to capture in-camera now, but not everyone likes the analogue film look.

EN→FRThe Google Pixel 10 Pro XL delivered a solid performance in the DXOMARK Camera tests, earning itself a spot among the best devices in our current ranking. The latest Google flagship phone uses the same camera modules as its predecessor Pixel 9 Pro XL but, thanks to the new Tensor G5 chipset, camera performance has improved significantly in some areas. Still images come with good exposure and a wide dynamic range, as well as generally nice colors and accurate white balance. Artifacts are very well under control, with only some ghosting and halo effects occasionally noticeable. The camera also maintains a very good trade-off between noise reduction and detail retention, but cannot quite keep up with the very best in this respect.

The Pixel 10 Pro XL is big, bulky and expensive, but if you can deal with all those things, it’s the ultimate 2025 handset in many ways. A stunning display and durable yet stylish design set the tone for a great smartphone. EN→FRThere’s no denying the Pixel 10 Pro XL is a really good, big slab of a phone. I didn’t get the sense from using it that it offers a huge amount more than the Pixel 9 Pro family from last year, especially not with the software rolling out across several generations and models of Pixel. Still, I’m a big fan of the way the software looks and feels. Similarly, Google has made an effort to implement AI features in a way that is actually useful and feels like it’s cohesively built into the software, and not just bolted on as an additional feature. Despite its weaknesses in terms of benchmarking and gaming performance, I’m a big fan of the latest Pro Pixel. It looks great, has a brilliant display and very consistent camera performance. It’s not perfect by any means, but with the added convenience of PixelSnap, it slots into everyday life easily and may just convince some iPhone users to switch to Android.

EN→FRI’m not going to repeat the specifics of the new AI and Gemini features that I already covered in my Pixel 10 review. Check that out if you want more details on features like Magic Cue and Voice Translate, but the gist is that the Pixel 10 phones—all of them, including the Pixel 10 Pros—deliver on this longtime dream of a proactive AI or assistant helping you to do things on your phone faster or easier. Magic Cue, which suggests relevant info from across apps, has so much potential to save us from the entrapment of our phones and our data that’s spread out in other apps. I said it in my Pixel 10 review that we’re only at the starting line, but Google has delivered the AI phone that Apple said it would with its AI-powered Siri, but then completely fumbled the execution. It’s no wonder that Apple is reportedly in exploratory discussions with Google to use Gemini to power a next-gen Siri.

EN→FRThe Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is a faster and more refined version of the phone it's replacing. If that sounds boring, that's because it is, but you can hardly blame only Google for doing it, as it has pretty much become the industry standard. The list of improvements really is quite minor. You get better performance from the new Tensor G5 chip and some niceties in the form of the magnetic Qi2 charging and Pixelsnap accessories, but that's really about it. As a phone, the Pixel 10 Pro XL has a lot going for it. The design looks quite attractive, the display is incredible, the software is clean and functional, and the cameras work really well. As for the downsides, the phone is quite cumbersome to use because of its weight and stiff buttons, the G5 chip is lacking compared to rivals with questionable long-term performance, and the charging speeds and battery life remain unimpressive.

EN→FRWith the Pixel 10 lineup, Google has taken last year’s excellent Pixel 9 series, and made it significantly better. Tensor G5 is more efficient and performs better than Tensor G4 virtually across the board. Qi2 with magnets gives these phones access to Apple’s vast MagSafe ecosystem of accessories. Pixel 10's brighter displays, upgraded speakers, larger batteries, and faster charging speeds are all welcome improvements. The Pixel 10 now also packs a telephoto camera that enables 20x magnification, and Pro Res Zoom allows the Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL to zoom up to 100x, with spectacular results. Add Google’s outstanding software and AI features to the mix, and you have all the ingredients for a winning recipe. The only thing leaving a bitter taste behind is the lack of SIM trays on the US models.

They look great, the cameras can certainly take some awesome images and the new AI tools are interesting and only going to get better over time. You shouldn't buy this phone if you already own a Pixel 9 Pro or maybe even an 8 Pro. The hardware upgrades are arguably quite minimal and some of the AI prowess of the 10 Pro series will be shared with earlier Pixel models with updates. You also shouldn't look towards this phone if you're a power gamer, wanting the ultimate handheld console-like experience. The company has already established itself for having the best AI phones around, and the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL keeps on widening that gap. Samsung has done well to keep up with its Galaxy AI features, but I think it puts Apple Intelligence on notice because of the amount of new AI features present here with these Pixel 10 Pro devices. They add on to the existing set that Google has delivered, like Call Screen, Pixel Studio, Magic Editor, and much more.
